Comments: I got these fifty words fromdaidetre like in …November? Long ago anyway. I had this half-finished for ages now but only today I filled in the couple of blanks I still had. And since ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
diextoshiyalove has been so silent lately I figured I’d contribute at least a little something for the pair :)
1. Faith
Straight from the beginning Die knew it would be a leap of faith to follow his instinct and make a move on Toshiya, but there was no way he could hold back and suppress his feelings any longer.
2. Guess
If there was any way to guess what was going on in that pretty head of his boyfriend’s, Toshiya had yet to figure it out since most of the time, Die was a complete enigma to him with those mischievously sparkling eyes and a dirty grin.
3. Danger
It was like feeding off of adrenaline, the threat of getting caught making their hearts hammer in their chests and blood rush through their veins, but wasn’t that exactly what they were after when they sneaked into the studio bathroom during their short cigarette break.
4. Worse
Already seeing Toshiya cry was somewhere on top of Die’s list of things he hated, but knowing that he was the reason for it was a thousand times worse.
5. Paint
At first Toshiya had thought that there was no friggin’ way in hell that Die could convince him to paint their bedroom red, but a few strategically spoken words in the middle of a heated moment and here he was, standing with a paint roller in his hand and a can of dark red paint right next to him.
6. Scream
Toshiya wasn’t sadistic, not in the slightest, but it didn’t matter when he practically attacked Die, knowing he would not to stop before he had the guitarist screaming his name.
7. Organic
Toshiya had never been this much in love, head over heels, and it was like sulphuric acid – or some nasty organic acid, he had heard they were stronger anyway – was running through his veins every single time Die as much as touched his arm, giving him one of those fleeting, subtle glances no one else noticed but that meant the world.
8. Temper
Sometimes Die had such a nasty temper and he could send plates and flowerpots flying if he felt like it, but thankfully Toshiya had his own ways to counter the attacks and channel the extra energy to something far more productive: burning passion.
9. Desire
As melodramatic as it might sound, whenever Toshiya looks at Die like this, all flushed cheeks, naked skin and long limbs sprawled on the mattress, he feels like the want, the need, the desire within is too much and might burst his blood vessels any second.

Just an ordinary day, ordinary shop, ordinary groceries – nothing spectacular and all it takes is one brush of Toshiya’s hand against his wrist to make Die walk two feet above the ground with his head in the pink fluffy clouds.

When Toshiya changed black satin sheets on their bed and decorated it with blood red rose petals Die laughed at the idea, but the second he saw that hungry gaze on his body, drinking in the contrast of colours as he lay on the bed, the laughter died and was replaced by something much more urgent, primal and uncontrollable.

Before, Die had always been a “no strings attached” guy, but it had never been like that with Toshiya, the step to what they wanted from what they had too big to risk it over a careless fling.
13. Paradise
If one asked Die, the paradise on earth consisted of a warm blanket, a cup of strong coffee, the orange glow of a sunrise in the horizon and Toshiya right there next to him to lean on.
14. Muse
Sometimes Die wishes he could draw so he could capture the lines and curves of the bassist’s body on paper, could do them justice and present them in the full gorgeousness they are, although that would probably be too much for even the most talented artists in the world.
15. Wish
When Toshiya asked Die for his birthday wishes, he didn’t manage to predict that he’d end up pinned right against the nearest wall, Die’s hand on his groin and his breath in his ear, the hotly whispered “guess twice” shooting right through him.
16. White
In the wintertime Die’s skin gets so pale it’s almost shimmering in the moonlight, and Toshiya has always thought it’s hypnotizing, like the older man would be a somehow magical creature, who only landed on this earth amongst mortals by accident.

“Friends forever” was what they promised to each other that dark night eleven years ago, voices creaking and eyes swollen, but neither of them guessed that somewhere along the years they would step beyond that boundary into something deeper, a soul to soul connection.

How wonderful it would be to find one of those magical genies to fill all of your wishes, Toshiya thinks inwardly as he watches – once again – how the man of his dreams flirts up a girl with hydrogen peroxide blonde hair and fake tits instead of noticing the long glances his best friend is throwing at him.
19. Arrow
“But I thought you were straight as an arrow!” was the first thing Die burst out to Toshiya right after they managed to tear apart from each other after a massive make-out session, making the younger man laugh as he thought that was supposed to be his line.
20. Shoot
Although Toshiya had said the three magical words several times to someone right after shooting his load, the first time he actually meant them was when he was staring right down into Die’s big, dark eyes that had captured his heart forever.
21. Nail
Die grabs the sheets with one hand, raking his nails down Toshiya’s back with the other hard enough to leave dark red scrapes behind, almost as if he wants to mark the other man as his own, exactly like Toshiya is making him his.
22. Careful
They both know they should be more careful, but when Toshiya purrs a low “I want to fuck you in the recording booth” into Die’s ear there is no way the guitarist is going to say “no”.
23. Force
It never fails to surprise Toshiya just how much strength there is to Die’s lanky frame, when he actually wants to use it and forces the younger man down on his back to ravish his mouth with his own.
24. Gentleman
Toshiya is always the perfect gentleman and although their friends tease Die, calling him the happy little wifey, he doesn’t really mind since he enjoys those small thoughtful gestures from his boyfriend way too much.
25. Worn
Only when the first rays of the rising sun are peeking from the horizon, their worn bodies take the rest they need as they lay there right next to each other, skin on skin, flesh on flesh, hot breath on breath.
26. Bond
They both know they don’t need anything to show off the special bond between them, it’s enough that it is there, but somehow these secret, small signs of it always make them irrationally happy.

So much has changed from the moment they met and shook hands, when something passed between them and they knew that this would be a neverending journey: once you start falling, it will never stop and you will never reach the end of it.
28. Blasphemy
The sturdy walls of the cathedral rise to the sky around him, magnificent glass paintings and gilded sculptures emitting their ancient aura, and as blasphemous as it is all Die can think of is how it would be to get down on his knees to suck Toshiya off right there surrounded by those judging ever-staring eyes.
29. Tape
It’s not much likely that he’ll get away with it, but Die at least has to try to tape Toshiya’s favourite poster back together after accidentally tearing it in half.
30. Universe
The universe shrinks down to one tiny spark of intense heat, only to then expand explosively, the burning fire consuming everything from its way while they desperately cling on to each other, never letting go.
31. Carry
“Now c’mon, don’t be a spoil sport,” Toshiya laughs as he chases Die along the corridor, finally managing to grab him so he can throw him over his shoulder and carry him over the threshold into their brand new apartment.

“What the fuck is your problem!?” Toshiya practically spits out the words and once again reminds Die that he is not just a pretty doll with blue hair and perfect makeup, but a fiery personality deep down inside – and that he’d better start to do some explaining right now.
33. Fast
Everything went from slow-motion to fast-forward when Toshiya finally took the first step and grabbed Die’s head between his palms, yanking him in for a deep, ravenous kiss.

Toshiya had always believed that with enough work and persistence he could reach any dream he set out to chase, but it took him a decade to realize dreams are all the more attainable when you have someone hold your hand through the journey.
35. Lazy
Toshiya wasn’t lazy, he really wasn’t, but something in having Die serve him coffee into bed while he curled deeper into the covers made him always want to sleep long.

It had been completely a whim when Die decided to let his hair grow again and when Toshiya ran his fingers through the long strands, pulling Die closer against his chest, he decided that best things often came from the unexpected.

“C’mon, pretty please?” wasn’t really something one could expect from a thirty-six-year-old rock star, but somehow Toshiya wasn’t surprised when those big brown eyes blinked up at him, the full lips pursed into a pleading frown.

In the end, Die supposed it should’ve been a shock when he realized he was in love with his best friend, his bandmate for the past ten years, but somehow it all simply fell in place – like it was meant to be.

“What happens when this ends?” Die would sometimes ask Toshiya in the darkness of the night, and the younger man never knew what he was really referring to, the end of their career or the end of their relationship, but he always responded with a soft “We’ll get through it, somehow.”

Sometimes it’s like a game they play; push and pull, on and off, here and there; it’s never set in stone and that is what they both love and hate in this all.

“I appreciate the sentiment, Tosh,” Die still can’t control his gigglesnorts, crouched down on the floor and holding his stomach from laughing so hard, and the adorable pout on Toshiya’s lips just makes it worse and makes him laugh even harder, it just doesn’t stop “I really do, but it’s… oh my god!”

It was when Toshiya noticed he couldn’t go a single day without thinking of Die that he knew; knew he had fallen in love.

“For god’s sake try counting sheep or something,” Toshiya mumbled in faked annoyance, but all he needed to do was pull Die close into the shared warmth to calm the older man down from his vivid nightmares.

No matter what they did, no matter where they went, it was like invisible chains had inevitably looped their lives together, and there was nothing they could do about it; nor even wanted to.
