The second instalment of the drabbles! :D These are all Die/Kaoru since they were made for this one certain meme, where I was supposed to write ten drabbles of the same pairing for ten different songs. Some of them aren’t that pairing-centric though, they work for others too :) Also they're short short because I was only allowed to write while the song played through once, and not all of them are such long songs XD Please do enjoy.

The glass made a clinking noise when it hit the table but you don't seem to even properly notice it. I should know, the amount of beer you've consumed would make anyone's movements a little less focused. Somehow I can't help but to chuckle at you though since the pout that appears on your lips when you notice there's no more beer is just totally adorable.
"Mmmh, Kaoru..." I snap out of my thoughts as you mutter my name, and you don't need any other answer than an arched eyebrow before you go on. "The minibar of the hotel looked quite promising, eh?" You blink so innocently that I have to suppress another chuckle. Quickly I get on my feet and help you up as well, sneaking my arm around your torso to prevent you from stumbling down.
I can feel the arm around me tighten and I know that you're not quite as drunk as you want the other people around us believe. I hide a small grin.

The loud techno music is probably the best way to make one's head explode into millions of little pieces. At least Kaoru was convinced of that, and inwardly already named this club as his own personal Hell. There wasn't much he could've done though, not after four out of five people had voted for this place, even his vote that counted as a double couldn't have turned tables.
The only thing that made it bearable was that when he had asked Die why the hell had he voted for the place as well, the man had only shrugged. "They serve cheap beer. And it's not like we have to stay there long anyways." The innocent words had been laced with such suggestive tone that it had instantly made Kaoru's blood boil and he had decided it'd be worth it. Techno or not.

It were mellow moments like this that always had the tendency to make one think, more or less deeply. One glance up at the stars that were shining down at them made the night seem even magical and inwardly Die congratulated himself for having the idea to drag Kaoru here, far from the city where the stars could actually even be seen.
Sometimes he felt that the stress was getting to him, the constant touring and working without any real pauses. He loved what he did, really, but it left so little time for everything else and sometimes he felt almost as if a part of his life was flowing by without him. Still right now when he was sitting there beside the older guitarist everything suddenly seemed to fall into place; everything was just worth it.
And when he reached out his hand for Kaoru's, the older man didn't pull away.

Die had always believed that there was someone for everyone. You know, this romantic bullshit about two people who were just meant to be and would share their lives together. He even thought he had got that himself, had found the one for him. Until everything got to this point: the point where nothing is certain anymore.
The nagging doubts inside of his head made him feel like his skull was going to explode. The pain in his chest made him want to scream out loud and just let it all out. But no amount of screaming, crying, raging, would ever change the fact that he had royally screwed up.
He had broken what was supposed to be beautiful.

Never thought we'd come to this. It was a dream, distant and beautiful, far away from the restrictions of reality. I had almost stopped pursuing it and it was just this lingering thought of something that could've been. The old feelings I thought I had under control were easy to resurface though. All it took was two words from him.
"Follow me."
He reaches out his hand for me and I hesitate. But only one confirming look into those deep brown eyes is enough, and even before I know I'm moving I take the offered hand into mine, holding on maybe a little more tightly than necessary.
It's time to cut the rope and fly
Fly to a dream.

Not a single word passes between two men, tangled together on the crumpled sheets, busy getting lost within each other. The morning sun is already rising, the light seeping into the room from between a gap in the curtains, creating enticing patterns on the smooth, uncovered skin.
No one knows what happens in the privacy of that single room. How could anyone, it's all so new to them too? Like a prolonged dream that they never even thought they would have.
I'll be your dirty little secret and you'll be mine.

The rain is drumming against the window, being the only sound in the dark room. Die was sitting beside it, resting his forehead against the cool glass, simply staring outside into the night. He had had other plans for the night than this: going out with friends, partying and drinking, having fun to forget the temporary loneliness he was dwelling in. When the time had come for that though he hadn't felt like it at all and had called Toshiya, telling him he would stay home tonight after all.
It wasn't anything new that he was alone like that. Being the one who was responsible of the most things when it came to the band Kaoru was often gone, in meetings or some stupid business trips. It wasn't as if Die wouldn't have understood the business side too if he had chosen to, but he simply wasn't interested and allowed his lover to take care of it all. Kaoru was good at it.
Still, in moments like these he wished things would be different. Wished he wouldn't need to share the attention and would have the older man all for himself. What made it all bearable though, was that he knew that tomorrow evening would be different.
No more loneliness. For a while.

I never chose to feel this way. I never wanted to fall in love with you while you're still attached to someone else, much less to start something with you in a situation like that. I never wanted to be the one to break a happy couple's life like this. But I suppose you didn't want to fall in love with me either.
Sometimes I feel that everyone who looks at me sees right through me and knows what I'm doing. The glances people give me are disgusted, blaming, accusing. I want to scream at you when you come close to me and tell you to never fucking touch me again or I'll rip you apart.
But when you touch me again, when you lean in and kiss me, I'm helpless. It's like plague, there's nothing I can do against it. There's no cure. There's only you.

"Let me open your eyes, show you the wonders of the world."
You never said it with words but I knew that it was what you meant when you looked at me with intensity like that. I always thought you were the more self conscious one of the two of us, the one who put more weight on what other people think of you. But when you came to me, I knew I had been wrong. You act only according to your own feelings, regardless of the public opinion.
Lucky me.
Only one night, and it changed all my perceptions. I finally dare to live.

A wink of an eye was what started it. Kaoru hardly first even noticed it, after all he had been trying to follow the topic that was being discussed even though the meeting was deadly boring. Then it was there again. Yes, Die definitely winked at him. For some reason that one single gesture managed to tear Kaoru's attention completely off the serious topic and he suddenly caught himself looking at the younger guitarist from the corner of his eyes.
Slowly, hardly even noticeably, Die turned on his seat a bit. Kaoru already had the time to think he had only imagined the whole moment, before he was proven wrong. Die ran the tip of his tongue along his lower lip in a manner that definitely brought back images from the previous night. Kaoru shivered, trying hard to return his attention to where it should be. He had no chances though, it was far too easy for Die to hold him captivated. And Die knew it.

By now I've already got some plots for the Oktoberfest but nothing written. And since it's a challenge, I should take it as that and finally write down all the smutty thoughts of mine.
I feel the urge to leave someone with his pants open...XDno subject

Fun meme-drabbles. The rules are:
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.

I have to nag my self to write stories(smut really xD), if I don't I just write some nonsense I dare to call poetry xD
no subject
Well, any writing is good :D
no subject
true, but some times i creep my self out, and i'd like to write some proper fiction sometime xDDD like, you know... a real plot?
no subject
Well, I still say that any writing is good XD The plots do come by themselves as long as a proper inspiration strikes.
no subject
in that case I get TOO inspired and end up writeing some weird bucolic shit xD. I have to try and write something proper.
no subject
I love em all. They're all so magical xD
And I might try that meme now I've done my homework...
Even though I have loads of shit/uninspiring songs on my ipod. xD
Just need to decide what pairing... *thinks*
no subject
Well some of those were written on not-so-inspiring songs too, so you just have to work our way through it XD
*coughs*Die/Toshiya*coughs* 8D Though Die/Kaoru would be nice to see too ;)
