Irresistible
Chapter 3

Die decided he wanted to have an extremely luxurious dinner in one of the best restaurants of the city as he needed some time to process the just happened too. Luckily, he was well known and of course, they got a table instantly.

This was one of the restaurants where one ordered hummer, caviar and champagne, but seeing the young redhead order french fries to his beauf stroganoff made Kaoru chuckle again. It made Die all the more likeable to him and just seeing the waiter's disbelieving stare was enough to amuse him all evening. Die on the other hand, ordered beer for both of them, somehow enjoying startling the waiter. Of course, he paid again and afterwards decided he wanted to have cocktails at this one bar that had been recommended to him at the set of the commercial shoot.

They ended up enjoying their time there and again took a bus to get back to the hotel. When they were walking from the bus stop to the hotel, being close already, Die came to the conclusion that it was time to take the next step. With a yelp he fell forward, and as Kaoru managed to catch him in the nick of time he instantly leaned against him for support. "My ankle... I think I twisted it..."

First, the smaller man steadied him until he was standing securely on one leg. "You think you manage to get to the hotel?" he asked worried. "There, we put some ice on it and see if it's seriously hurt." He knew they should get the redhead out of his boots as soon as possible, because if the ankle swelled, then they would have to cut them off.

"With these shoes?" Die pulled off a pained face, trying to look as pleading as humanly possible. "I don't think I should walk at all..."

"I will back you up. C'mon, don't whine," Kaoru tried, but after taking a step forward, the other man yelped again and shook his head, pretending to be close to tears. Without saying anything further, the bodyguard lifted him up and since he wore a skirt, he had to carry him bride-style so that it wouldn't reveal everything. "There you go, young lady," he tried to joke while quickly making his way to the hotel's entrance.

"Thank you," Die chuckled, averting his gaze down shyly. Inwardly he was cheering though, as this had been exactly what he had wanted and aimed for. He even leaned his head against the bodyguard's shoulder, secretly enjoying the moment to no end.

In passing by the counter, Kaoru demanded from the concierge. "We need an ice pack." and then just stalked towards the elevator. Although Die weighed practically nothing, he still grew more and more heavy with passing time and Kaoru would just have wanted to put him down somewhere. On the other hand, feeling the other man's hot breath on his neck caused hot and cold shivers to run down his spine and made him think of other things than to just put him down on the bed to attend the hurt ankle.

That was pretty much the intention and Die even managed to shift slightly on the other man's arms to bring himself to rest better against his chest. When they were in the hotelroom and Kaoru set him down on the big bed he instantly looked miserable again, the smile long gone. "Could you help me out of these?" He nodded towards the boots, lifting his leg a bit, causing the skirt to slide upwards in the movement.

"Of course." Instantly, Kaoru kneeled down on the floor, unlaced the boot and then tried to get it off the other man as carefully as possible. He took a hold of the ankle, moving it a bit. "Does that hurt? It's at least not swollen yet." When he looked up to meet the other man's gaze, he managed to get a good view underneath the skirt. Those thighs looked edible, soft and were just perfectly shaped for his taste.

"I think it's not as bad as I thought it would be." Die admitted, still not looking much happier although the mere fact that the other man was holding his leg made his heart beat a bit faster for some silly reason. "With a bit rest it should be good." He nodded smiling.

"Just don't move it too much so that you can walk again tomorrow." Quickly, Kaoru undid the other boot and then got back on his feet. Pushing one arm into the hollow of the other man's knees and wrapping one around his back, he gently placed him more in the middle of the bed. "You better rest now. It's late anyways."

"You will stay and keep me company, right?" The redhead asked, clearly hopeful and didn't even bother to try covering it. He undoubtedly wanted Kaoru to stay with him.

Their faces were so close and that alone caused Kaoru's throat to dry up and he became oddly aware of his frantically beating heart. Incapable to get a word out, he simply nodded, a faint smile tugging his lips. After clearing his throat, he finally managed to squeeze out: "Of course." Still, his voice sounded raspy and there was this certain tension between them again which made him lean in even more, his eyes falling half way shut.

Just when their lips were about to touch, it knocked on the door. The sound broke the moment and Kaoru straightened, smiling with a hint of regret hidden in his gaze. "That must be the ice-pack." Indeed, it was the footboy, handing the bodyguard the ice-pack after Kaoru had opened the door.

Die pouted, as he had enjoyed the moment so much and now some stupid ice-pack had to come and ruin it for him? He wasn't happy, not in the slightest. He dug out a small smile when the other man approached him again though, shifting a bit on his place, practically posing. He would've still rather gone back to the just experienced moment, as he had already been almost able to taste the kiss and then it had been taken away from him!

Kaoru smiled as well, holding up the ice pack. "We should cool your ankle still, don't you think?" Inwardly, he cursed the footboy too for interrupting them, but he didn't let it show when he sat down at the edge of the bed and carefully put the ice pack on the ankle. Like accidentally, he let his gaze roam upwards that perfect leg until he was looking straight into the other man's eyes.

He was rewarded with a small smile, along with a nod. "Yeah, might be the best. Although I'm desperately craving for a bath..." He faked a theatrical sigh even.

"A bath?" The bodyguard arched an eyebrow. "I don't know if that would be good for your hurt ankle."

"But I feel like it. A bath always makes me relax and I've been walking SO much today." Die gave his best pleading puppy-dog look, blinking at the other man.

"Okay," Kaoru drawled, already getting up again. "I will fix you a bath if it helps you." He gave the actor a small smile before vanishing into the huge bathroom.

While he was watching the water flow and slowly fill the round tub, his thoughts travelled off to the redhead again and his mind provided him with very clear images of the other man lolling in the warm water, stretching his limbs and making low, appreciatory noises. It made him want to take a cold shower, but that certainly would've been a bit too obvious, right?

In the meantime Die was lying sprawled on the bed, lost in thoughts. Everything he had on his mind circled around his bodyguard right now, as he couldn't help it, nor did he want to. He wondered how long he would have to wait until he could walk normally again, simply not to arouse suspicions. The ankle had of course never been hurt in reality, but it made him smile to think what he had achieved with it nevertheless.

After some time, Kaoru appeared in the doorframe, leaning against it with a smile. "The bath is ready. I added some of this coconut stuff you had there, hope it's right." His eyes were caressing the other man's features and finally stopped, gazing deep into Die's soft brown eyes.

"That's perfect." Die nodded with a smile, slowly getting into a seated position. He already moved his feet to dangle over the bed's edge but then stopped, like hesitating before looking at the other man questioningly. "Would you still help me? So I won't stress the ankle too much..."

"Of course." Instantly, the bodyguard stepped beside the bed, ready to back him up. But when Die was already standing on his good leg, he struggled and almost fell so that Kaoru had to lift him up again. "If it's not better tomorrow morning, you will see a doctor," he mumbled, carrying his precious burden into the bathroom.

"Sure thing," the redhead promised, nodding to emphasize the words. He even considered bribing a doctor to say there was something wrong with the leg for then he could force the bodyguard to carry him like this more often.

Carefully Kaoru set him down to stand beside the bathtub. "Thank you," Die gave him an honest smile. "Just wait a sec, I might still need help."

Obediently, Kaoru waited, but his eyes widened when Die began to unbutton his shirt. Of course he would bathe naked, what had he thought? Every nerve inside him told him to run, to turn around and just leave, but he was like rooted to the spot, his eyes glued to the revealed skin, to the shoulder blades that were moving smoothly, spine, lower back, and then, luckily, there was still the skirt that prevented seeing more.

Die was aware of the eyes on him, and the intense gaze made him enjoy the moment to no end. He took his time, slowly getting rid of the shirt before moving to untie the skirt as well. His movements were still slow as he took off the rest of his garments as well, looking like he didn't mind in the slightest that he wasn't alone in the room.

Afraid that he could lose control, Kaoru averted his gaze when the underpants were about to be removed. His throat was dry like a desert, made him swallow constantly and although he didn't stare straight anymore, he still could see all too much from the corner of his eyes. "I guess you'll be fine now, right?" he asked, already turning to leave.

For a moment Die had considered asking the other man to help him get into the bathtub as well but then he thought it might not be that believable. So he settled in the warm water himself, letting out a content sigh. "Well, you were asking me to show you the letters... I could do it now?"

"Now?" Inwardly, Kaoru felt stupid for always asking again even though he had very well heard the suggestion in the first place. He tried to cover it by smiling though. "Sure. If you tell me where they are, I can get them and we can go through them again to see if you overlooked something."

"They're in the green folder that's on top of my suitcase. The biggest suitcase." The redhead advised, gesturing with his hand into the general direction.

Chuckling, his bodyguard left the room, knowing that there were a lot of big suitcases. Still, Die had been right as on top of an impressive bright red sample, he found the folder. Once back in the bathroom, he handed it over to the other man and settled down on a step beneath the bathtub, desperately trying not to look if he could see something underneath the thick layer of foam that concealed the other man's body.

Die had lifted his knee above the surface of the water, and shifted in the tub a bit, holding the papers up so that they wouldn't get wet. He picked a few letters from there, instantly beginning to read. "So this is the first... 'I can't get you out of my head, I'm too addicted. I try to think how it'd be to kiss those perfect, full lips of yours and hold your lean body close'..." He chuckled, turning to look at the other man. "It's pretty much the same the whole letter."

"Are those all written in handwriting?" Kaoru asked, peeking at the paper in the other man's hand. "And are you sure those are from the same guy?" He tried to ignore the fact that the lines he had just heard had stirred certain images in his head, only that he KNEW how those full lips felt, as much as he had held the other man before while carrying him upstairs to his room.

Still, it didn't help him to calm down and thus he tried to focus on the facts and shrugged casually. "This sound harmless. More like the typical fan, fantasizing about doing things with you, than actually planning to walk the talk."

"There's more, wait..." Die pursed his lips thoughtfully, discarding the first letter to the floor before taking another one, skimming through it and moving to the third one. "This is the fourth one I got I think. 'I've been watching you, and not like you think, not only on the screen. I've been following you, eating you with my gaze, thinking about your perfect figure and long lean legs, fantasizing about you screaming my name when I fuck you hard'..."

Kaoru wanted a smoke, really badly. He had to shift his position a bit, crossing his legs in what he was hoping was a nonchalant manner. "That's frightening," he admitted and then asked. "Do you have the envelope to that?"

Die handed him the piece of paper, but it only proved that it had been sent from Tokyo where the actor lived usually. "Were they sent to your home address or to your management?" In reality, he wasn't interested in any of those things anymore, but had to deal with the images in his head and the far too forceful reaction with which his body answered to those. To make it even worse, the foam slowly disappeared and revealed a bit of the redhead's body underneath already.

"Both," Die informed with a small shrug. "The first one came to the management, and after that they began to come to my apartment. The address was slightly off, but the postman knows me so he brought it to the correct address." He had noticed the foam's disappearing too, and even shifted a bit more into a better position. The movement was accompanied with a content purr, the water still warm and making him relax.

Suddenly, Kaoru jumped up and smiled. "Would you like something to drink too? I'm really thirsty." Without giving the other man the chance to answer, he darted out of the room and went straight to the mini bar where he emptied a small bottle of vodka before taking two Cokes; one for him, one for Die. Before he went back, he took a few deep breaths though and tried to calm down, even checked if the slight bulge in his pants was too obvious.

After thinking it wasn't enough to attract attention, he went back inside and sat down in his former place, handing Die the drink. "Sorry," he grinned apologetically. "But I really was thirsty....," he remarked and quickly went on, "Did you do anything about those? I mean is your house watched? I haven't been told that it was this serious. That the guy knows where you live." His cheeks were a bit flushed when he thought about some ugly pervert drooling after the redhead, trying to get his hands on him.

"They told me I should move, and I had someone who watched the house." Die leaned a bit over the rim of the bathtub, smiling at the other man. "And I am considering of buying a new apartment then. Tell me if you have any good suggestions or something."

"I think the ones I know are way too average for your taste," the other man winked chuckling. "But I'm sure you have a good estate agent who will get you something nice." A short moment of silence followed, before Kaoru went on. "Aren't you afraid this guy could just wait somewhere for you and rape you?" Although he was there to protect the redhead, he was somehow sure that Die didn't have a bodyguard with him all the time, when he had off from his job.

"Well, I can either stop living my life and be afraid, staying inside my apartment or then I can go on living normally. I chose the latter, it's not gonna change anything anyways." The redhead shrugged a bit, for a short moment becoming more serious than he usually was.

"But a bit more caution wouldn't hurt," Kaoru argued softly. He had leaned forward a bit and put his hand on the redhead's forearm. Trying to lift the tension a bit and take away the seriousness from the situation, he chuckled winking. "But I bet despite this one asshole, you get a lot of nice fanletters, right? With explicit offers."

"Sure." The smile was back on Die's lips and he chuckled a bit at the words. "You'd be surprised to hear how many of those I get." He shook his head, inwardly noting that it felt nice to have the other man's hand on his arm, his fingertips softly moving on his skin. "I guess I have to move still. You wouldn't happen to have room for a subtenant?"

Kaoru took the question as a joke and laughed heartily; his first real laughter since he had met the other man. "Well, I happen to have this one tiny shoe-box which is supposed to be a nursery, disregarding the fact that I don't have children."

"How about a wife?" the question came quickly, the redhead's eyes sparkling curiously.

"Nope." The dark haired man shook his head. His laughter had ceased, but a wide smile had stayed behind as much as a deep glimmer in his eyes that was lined by a dozen of laugh lines.

"A girlfriend?"

"No." Kaoru grinned, actually enjoying the moment. Usually, he didn't share private information with his clients, but this was totally different, had been right from the beginning.

"Boyfriend?" The inevitable question came with a merry grin.

"No." After answering the question, Kaoru had to laugh again. "Sounds pretty pathetic, huh? How about you? Is there anybody keeping your bed warm back at home?"

"No." Die shook his head, before basing it on his arms that were folded on the edge of the tub. "It's kinda hard for me to find anyone. You know, someone who's not just a fan or something like that." There was a hint of melancholy in his eyes even, but at a moment's notice the smile was back and he went on. "And how's it with you? I mean, are you looking for a new girl- or a boyfriend?"

"I don't believe in searching," the other man answered winking. "More in finding. And I have a stressful job, ain't at home much, so it's hard to find somebody who can live with a long time-span without seeing me." He had based one elbow on the edge of the tub and leaned his head against his hand, gazing at the redhead openly.

For the first time, he noticed that there was another side to Die too, a side beside the bouncy, flirty and spoiled actor he usually was. He had seen it before in other clients, fame going hand in hand with loneliness. Although those people seemed to have everything they wanted, money, popularity, orgies, they were still just human beings who searched for the safety of a steady relationship at times. Sadly, they were often disappointed, because most people were just interested in the celebrity in them and not in their real personality.

"I kinda have a similar problem." Die chuckled, appreciating the openness with which the other man treated him and was chatting with him. It wasn't usual that he got to talk to someone like this, and he enjoyed it to no end. On top of it of course the other man was drop dead gorgeous, and he enjoyed the mere sight. "But you didn't answer my question! A girl- or a boyfriend?"

The redhead's persistence made Kaoru chuckle, but he didn't avert his gaze when he answered. "Boyfriend." He wasn't ashamed about being gay and besides, he was quite certain that Die had already noticed that as much as he would bet his right hand that the other one was playing for the same team. Yet, he had to ask the counter-question. "And you? Girlfriend or boyfriend? Or both?"

The redhead made a small victorious sound when he heard the answer, as he had figured it out right. "Well," he tried to become more serious but couldn't wipe the wide grin off his face. "I wouldn't mind either. But the latter preferably."

That was just what Kaoru had thought as one sex didn't seem to be enough for the redhead. Still, maybe he was mistaken and Die was only looking for love. But the way how he had shamelessly hit on him had been showing that he was either extremely flirty or up for some fun too, maybe both. "I guess I wouldn't be surprised about the amount of indecent proposals you got," he answered to one of the other man's earlier remarks although it seemed a bit too bold to say something like that.

"Is that so?" Die seemed to be pleasantly surprised, his eyes widening a bit and the smile widening more if possible. "How so?" He leaned forward even more, but it made him slip a bit and he fell back into the tub with a yelp, splashing some water accidentally.

The dark haired man didn't mind and only chuckled. Finally, he had mercy on Die and grabbed his arm to pull him up and steady him again. His jeans were wet now and so was his shirt, but the water was warm and he too heated up anyways to feel uncomfortable.

Kaoru simply reached for a towel to wipe away the pool of water on the step, only to sit down again. "Because you're gorgeous and famous and I can imagine that you're the wet dream of a lot of teenagers," he answered with a delay.

"Only teenagers?" Die purred, leaning back in the tub and trying to look as charming as possible, but he was very well aware that the bright grin and the totally wet and messy hair didn't give a very stunning effect.

He was wrong though, because it were the tiny details that caught Kaoru's attention. Like the small drops of water that were running down his cheeks and neck, his chest. It made him wish he could switch places with them. "You know what I meant. No fishing for compliments here."

"Aw, but I wanted to hear it!" The redhead faked a pout, sighing dramatically. "You're a spoil sport." He straightened, nodding towards the towels. "And to make it up for me you'll get me a towel and help me get ready for bed."

"Want me to powder and swaddle you too?" Kaoru laughed, but when he received a glare, raised his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay, I help you."

Obediently, he stood up and got one of the huge fluffy towels. He stepped beside the tub and spread his arms wide with it, waiting for Die to get up so that he could wrap it around him.

With only little troubles Die managed to get on his feet, but then he conveniently happened to slip and lose balance, falling straight into the awaiting towel and the other man's arms.

It occurred to the bodyguard that the redhead had done that on purpose as he seemed to be a bit too clumsy for his self-confident appearance. Yet, he wasn't sure and was far from being displeased. Laughing softly, he steadied the other man and wrapped the towel around him along with his arms. Again, their faces were so close and it would have been so easy to just lean in and kiss those inviting lips, but at the last moment, he withdrew, winking. "When you're done, I will get ready for bed too. Or, more likely, for chair," he joked.

"The bed is big enough, you can share it with me." Die announced instantly, nodding a few times to emphasize the statement. He let go with a sigh though as the other man just gave him a headshake.

As soon as Kaoru had helped him out of the bathtub he slowly walked towards the bedroom, only remembering his supposedly hurt ankle when he was almost already on the door.

Luckily, Kaoru was too busy staring at his back to notice it. The towel had almost slipped away from the other man and just the second before it could drop to the floor, Die had grabbed it firmly. Still, it gave an enticing view on his lower back and the beginning of his butt. It certainly was better to stay on the chair and not get too close to Die. That actor surely knew how to test his resistance.

In the bedroom Die quickly got dressed for bed, and inwardly cursed that he wasn't a woman so that he could wear even more non-existent clothes or only lingerie for the night. Resigned to his fate he slid under the covers though, patiently waiting for the other man.

It took a long moment before his bodyguard followed since Kaoru really needed some time to calm down his boiling libido. Die surely was sexy and seductive and he had hinted more than enough that he wouldn't mind his attention in other ways than to guard him. He was smiling though while he fixed the armchairs for himself and pulled the blanket over him. "Sleep well. Tomorrow's your big night."

"I would sleep better if I knew my bodyguard wasn't trying to kill his back by sleeping in an uncomfortable chair..." Die pointed out, not able to stop himself. He didn't even try to take it back and simply stared at the other man challengingly to show he meant it.

"Don't worry. I'll still be fit for service tomorrow." Kaoru ignored the obvious displeased undertone in the other one's remark, as much as he ignored the suggestiveness. He was determined not to give in and sleep beside him, knowing he wouldn't close an eye there as he was acting like a pubescent teenager already.

"That'd better be true." The redhead sighed, but got comfortable on the bed, stretching out his limbs and sighing contently. "Good night."

Smiling, the bodyguard shifted into a better position and not to face the other man anymore. "Good night." Inwardly, he shook his head about himself though as he was refusing to give in to something he really wanted more and more with each passing second.

They both fell silent, and soon were seemingly drifting off into a peaceful sleep. Die was only pretending to sleep though, and carefully listened to the bodyguard's breathing. When he was certain the other man was really asleep he silently sat up, turning to look at him. He could only make out Kaoru's figure in the dark, but it was already enough to make his heart beat a bit faster and he was even more determined with each moment.

He waited for few minutes still, to be absolutely sure that his bodyguard was sleeping, before silently getting on his feet. Like a shadow he made his way to the chair, carefully crawling on Kaoru's lap, even sneaking his arms around his torso. He was lucky, because Kaoru didn't seem to wake up that easily for some reason.

But then all suddenly, smaller man's eyes snapped open and his body jerked up as he tried to jump off his chair. Die's weight pinned him down though and it took a second before Kaoru realized what was happening. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice still coated from sleep. Reflexively, he had wrapped his arms around the redhead as well, holding him tight.

"I saw something." Die answered vaguely, not making a single move to get further, quite the contrary even tightening his hold on the other man. "Outside. Maybe it's the stalker?"

"Then let me check!" Kaoru demanded, but when Die still refused to get off him, he sighed deeply. "We're on the first floor here and I'm in the same room. Nothing will happen to you. I promise." He wasn't sure if this was only an act and pretended fear, but since he was working for the other man, it wasn't his right to doubt him. Still, he liked the way how Die was so close, how he felt his firm body pressed against his own and he knew that, if this would last longer, his body would betray him and give away his true feelings.

"Alright..." Reluctantly Die let go, leaning back a bit, but still remained sitting on the other man's lap. He tried to take on his best pleading expression, even sighing a bit. "But I'm scared. I don't dare to go back to sleep..."

"Don't say that. You need to look good tomorrow and you need your beauty sleep. I promise I'll be right here and watch you." Kaoru tilted his head a bit, smiling at the redhead from below. "Trust me."

"No." The actor shook his red strands, almost sounding desperate even. "I won't be able to sleep at all!"

The bodyguard knew he had lost already, but still tried to resist. "Okay, I will move the chairs beside the bed. Would that be sufficient?"

"No." The answer came with another headshake.

"What can I do then to grant you a deep sleep?"

"You sleep beside me."

Kaoru had known it beforehand and simply nodded. "Okay." He would have agreed upon everything, if Die only got off his lap and stopped shifting slightly like he was doing at that moment. "Then let's go."

Instantly Die stood up, smiling a bit. It took him all his self control though not to grin like a moron. Swiftly he moved back to the bed and sat down on it, waiting for the bodyguard. "I really appreciate this." He meant it honestly, although for different reasons than because he was scared.

Almost, Kaoru would have said that it was his pleasure, but bit his tongue and only smiled. Grabbing his pillow and his blanket, he moved to the big bed, setting himself down at the farmost corner that was possible without slipping down. "Good," he stated, "and now you can sleep soundly."

"Be careful you won't fall off the bed." The redhead chuckled, but settled down and closed his eyes, stilling as if he was about to sleep.

Kaoru only mumbled something and closed his eyes as well. It had been a long and mentally stressful day and he was truly tired. But just knowing that the other man was there so close, smelling his scent and hearing his respiration, kept him from finding the rest he would have needed.

Die tried to stay still and wait until the other man was asleep again, but it never seemed to happen. So he just pretended to be asleep himself, mumbled something inaudible and turned, getting closer to Kaoru in the movement.

It made things harder and harder for the bodyguard and he just tried to remain still and not react. Desperately, he even began to count sheep, hoping he could force sleep to come.

The redhead took his time, trying to make it appear as natural as possible when he still shifted closer to the other man. It was hard not to make it too obvious though, still holding on to the illusion.

In the attempt to get some distance between them, Kaoru almost slipped off the bed and when he steadied himself again, he simply had to shift closer to the other man in order not to fall off the edge again. It made his heart pound quickly when he took a tentative glance at Die's features, the leaden darkness making him appear totally enchanting. To get rid of the image, he turned his back on him, hoping this would help.

In a slow movement Die pressed himself closer still until he was practically resting against the other man. The temptation was big to just wrap his arm around him but he didn't do it, thinking it might have been too obvious.

A deep sigh left the smaller man and then he stopped breathing. He was at the verge of just turning around and giving in to the temptation to hug the other man, to kiss him and wake him up in a very special way. Yet, the only thing he had left was his professionalism and he wouldn't do anything as long as Die was his client.

The redhead made no move to get further, although he was a bit disappointed that he didn't manage to make Kaoru react in any way. This was hard, and it made him even more determined. For the time being, he just settled for staying as close as possible without being too obvious.

After some time, Kaoru relaxed a bit, getting used to the situation and getting a hold on himself. Whenever he was about to drift off though, he noticed that he rolled a bit backwards towards the other man and against him.

Despite the fact that Die was holding on to the moment as much as he was able to, he was tired enough to begin to drift off as well. Just when he was about to fall asleep completely he sneaked one arm around the other man, this time not even on purpose but subconsciously.

The touch was like burning, because Kaoru's shirt had ridden up and Die's hand was now resting on the bare skin of his lower stomach. He couldn't help but to enjoy it and finally told himself it was okay, too drowsy to fight against it anymore. Before he fell asleep, his own hand found its way to Die's though as deep down inside, he was feeling comfortable in the embrace.

Even when fast asleep the redhead was clinging on to his bodyguard, a small smile even dancing on his lips as he slept better than in a long time. This was progress, and if he had been awake he would've done a small victory dance to celebrate it.

Despite the fact that Kaoru had promised his client to watch out during his sleep, he was like passed out and didn't even stir a tiny bit. If he hadn't been so uptight about his job, he would've just forgotten about it and thrown himself at the other man. Maybe he should've considered asking Die if he needed a personal bodyguard/ gofer / lover.

In the morning it was Die who woke up first, and he didn't even stir when he noticed that they were sleeping so close to each other, their legs entangled. He just tried not to move, wanting to hold on to the moment for as long as possible. He couldn't deny himself from moving his hand a bit along the other man's abdomen, sliding his fingers over the smooth skin.

It elicited a content sigh from Kaoru, although he didn't wake up instantly. Usually, he was only a light sleeper, something that his job brought along, but in the other man's arms he felt too comfortable to let go of sleep. Die got more bold then, sliding his hand even lower, but stopped as the other man stirred beside him. He didn't want him to wake up only to find him trying to grope.

Kaoru's mind was still clouded by the blissful dream he had had when he turned around and stretched his arms, not even noticing that Die's hand had followed his movement and was still resting on his belly. Only after a second, he had processed the whole situation and was smiling at the one beside him. Just then, he noticed that he had been acting like somebody who woke up beside his lover and not his client, and flinched a bit. "Morning!" Quickly, he tried to get a bit of distance between them without appearing like fleeing.

"Morning." Die had to chuckle at the other man's expression, and he just couldn't resist the temptation and had to add. "Don't be scared, I won't bite." Inwardly he thought he could get used to this, to wake up beside the other man like this.

"I'm not scared," Kaoru pouted a bit, but then had to chuckle. "I'm just not used to wake up beside my boss..." He sat up, stretching his arms relishing.

Die's eyes were like glued to his form, to his every movement. "Yeah, I believe that. And you never had such a stunning boss before either, right?"

"No, never." Only when the statement had left Kaoru's lips, he could have hit himself. Still, it was the truth and so he just showed his stunning smile.

It made the redhead smile in return and he couldn't deny that hearing that felt nice. It was too bad that they didn't have much time though, as the day's schedule was pretty full and they had to get going already whether they wanted or not.

Before the award show itself, there would be some interviews, parading down the red carpet and everything. But before everything, Die would have to get dressed and ready. If one had asked the bodyguard, he would have said that the other man looked stunning to begin with, but the redhead was of another opinion and said that his stylist was on the way to help him.

They worked for what had felt like an eternity to the bodyguard, until the redhead finally agreed that he looked 'decent enough'. There wouldn't be any time for more though, and he just had to settle with his looks. But he was pretty certain that he could make it all up by just flashing one of his bright smiles and make everyone's knees go weak. He even forgot about his plan to torture Kaoru and make him jump him, being too busy himself.

Once they were on their way out, Kaoru's attention was on their surrounding anyways and for once he didn't just drool after his boss. This was the day the stalker had announced to do something and he would be there to prevent it, no matter what. Throughout the interviews and the short meeting with a handful of selected fans, he was the only one to watch his client, but once they went to the huge hall where the event took place, there was enough security to guard Ford Knox as it seemed.

While Die was walking down the red carpet, answered a couple of questions and gave some autographs, the bodyguard remained a bit on the side, yet always had an eye on him. For a short moment, he allowed his gaze to get dreamy though, only watched how Die moved, charmed everybody with his ravishing smile and the elegance of his movements. But then, he focused on his job again, although he was pretty sure that, once they were inside the hall, nothing could happen. If the stalker had planned an attack, it would happen on the red carpet or never. At least that was what Kaoru was hoping.

In the end there was no attack and they got inside without any major troubles. Some overly enthusiastic fans tried to get their hands on the young actor but it was easily prevented, and Die never stopped smiling because he didn't feel like there was a real threat.

With all the happenings, time was practically flying by, and Die wasn't sure if he liked that. Not because he wouldn't have wanted the festivities to end, but because he knew that right afterwards he would be on his own again, separated from the bodyguard he had grown pretty obsessed with.

Similar thoughts were running through Kaoru's head and inwardly, he was hoping that Die would ask for his services again. Of course, he usually had other bodyguards and didn't need him really, but it was allowed to fantasize a bit, right?

While Die was on stage, receiving his award, Kaoru couldn't take his eyes off him and for some strange reason he couldn't even help but to be proud of him although it wasn't any of Kaoru's doings that the young actor was awarded.

After charming everyone present with his short speech and giving his thanks, Die got away from the spotlight and instantly turned to give Kaoru a stunning smile. He would've wanted to just throw himself at the bodyguard but refrained himself from doing it, thinking it wouldn't be the best possible publicity. A star molesting his bodyguard during an award show, what a headline.

Kaoru probably wouldn't even have minded, too deeply caught in the redhead's web already. He patiently waited until Die had taken his seat again to watch the rest of the show, never leaving his place beside the long row of chairs a bit in the back. Finally though, it was over and everybody stood up, heading to the exit. Now there would be the after show -party, something very stressful and usually unpleasant for a bodyguard.

Die seemed to enjoy himself to the fullest, being the centre of attention as everyone seemed to loved him or wanted to at least get to know him. So it came as no surprise that he stayed long at the party, only deciding to leave when it was late in the night already.

That was the moment when Kaoru's assignment ended as Die's management had organized another bodyguard to take care of him the next day. The man already awaited them, a tall, muscled guy with shaved head. The kind Kaoru despised for they thought they were the peak of God's creation and could boss everybody around.

They exchanged a few words and the smaller bodyguard told the man that Die had seen the stalker in the garden, but that nothing had happened. The man nodded simply and told his new boss he would be there in the early morning to take him to the airport and of course that Die didn't have to worry.

Die didn't seem to be too happy to change bodyguards but he tried not to show it as he had had this bodyguard before too and he was a nice person. Still, it made him melancholy to let go of Kaoru and he would've rather wanted to keep him to protect him. Or even just to have him with him, still sleeping in the same room. They bid farewell shortly though, and inwardly Die decided he'd have to try and see if he could hire the other man again once.
