seinen_no: Oh god, it feels like ages since we last posted something! But yeah, we are still alive and so is this journal. Only that we have so many other things to do at the moment;
fonulyn has so much to do for her studies and I have stress with work and real life. So very often we find ourselves unable to write anything 'decent' nor the drive to post it. Well, often it's me since my day is longer and I often don't feel like going on with a story or don't know how to or so. I apologize.
This here is actually older already and it is the result of a dream
fonulyn had. Haha, I remember when she said to me she dreamed that Die was molesting Kaoru but he wasn't allowed to give in for some reason. So we tried to come up with a story for that and hope you enjoy reading this. It's meant to be entertaining, funny and certainly not high-class literature XD But damn, I liked re-reading it and I like Die's cockyness there. So enjoy!
fonulyn: Originally we planned posting another story before this, but then we came to the conclusion that something happy and bouncy might be needed at this point before the seriousness x) So, now we present you the diva!Die and bodyguard!Kaoru 8D Despite the possible slight ooc-ness in Die’s character I have to admit I like this one, and it makes me smile each time I go through it. Happy and carefree, just what one - at least I - needs every now and then^^ I hope you enjoy!
And feel free to add our journal if you like the stories!
Plus, the archive.

Chapter 1
The black Armani suit fitted perfectly, Ray Ban's concealing his eyes when the small man stepped forward to announce himself. Okay, he was a bit cliché - Kaoru thought so too - but then, it was important to make a good first impression, moreover to look professional. He hadn't seen his new assignment before as it had been meant for somebody else from his company initially. Only this very morning, he had been informed that his colleague had to switch jobs because an old client of his had demanded his services. It had been a matter of course that Kaoru left the job to him and instead took the new one.
After the man behind the glass had made a couple of phonecalls, he handed Kaoru an ID-card that allowed him to move freely around the studio and told him to wait until somebody came to lead him the way to the make-up room where his new client was awaiting him.
It didn't take long and a young woman appeared, obviously stressed, urging him to hurry because they would have to shoot the next take soon. With the eye of a professional bodyguard, Kaoru watched the surroundings and memorized all the possible emergency exits along with the various doors that were lining up on the way. Soon, he was left alone in front of a door which said "PRIVATE". After taking a deep breath, he knocked, only stepping inside after a voice told him to do so.
"Daisuke Andou?" he asked the young redheaded man who lolled on a small couch and eyed him curiously. "I'm Kaoru Niikura, your new bodyguard until the award show." He had been shortly informed in advance that an obsessed fan was stalking this young man and had threatened to attack him at this certain award show.
After taking a careful look at his client, Kaoru couldn't blame the fans for being obsessed with Daisuke. He was tall, slim and extraordinarily pretty, had pouty lips, a set of sparkling eyes and a smile that could melt the poles with which he greeted him now.
"Pleased to meet you," The redhead's smile went all the way to his eyes, making them sparkle, and he looked honest when he did that. "And since we're now going to spend a lot of time together, I suppose you could drop the formalities and just address me as Die," he informed with a wink, his perfect lips curved into a confident grin. He wasn't completely dressed up yet, and as he shifted on his seat one could see his long, lean legs through a gap in the dressing gown he was wearing.
It didn't pass Kaoru by unnoticed, but he didn't let it show and instead looked the other man straight in the eyes, offering his hand for a handshake. "Of course. Just Kaoru then." Nodding towards a free armchair, he asked. "May I?" After receiving a nod, he sat down there and opened his jacket which revealed the holster under his arm. "I heard you're stalked by some obsessive fan." It was a statement and not a question. After a moment, he went on. "Well, don't worry, I will protect you."
"I know you will," The answer came almost as a purr, and the actor shifted again on his seat, this time leaning a bit towards his new bodyguard. "That's why you're here, right? To take care of me?" Somehow his words sounded like there was a some kind of double meaning hidden in them, and he based his chin on his palm, his elbow resting on the couch's armrest.
It made Kaoru blush a bit, something that usually never happened to him, and when he realized it he blushed even more out of embarrassment because of it. This young man was undeniably attractive, but he was a client and that meant pushing aside everything personal and remaining the professional he was. "Of course," he nodded and cleared his throat before he continued. "I am sorry, but I'm not as well prepared for the job as I usually am. Just got the assignment this morning. Could you show me the letters and emails you got and give me your schedule so that we can talk it through?"
"Sure you'll get the schedule." Die shrugged a bit before getting up from his seat in a smooth movement, throwing his head back to get his red strands out of his face. With a few long steps he was at the dressing table and picked up a piece of paper, turning back to Kaoru. He only stopped when he was standing right in front of the other man, smiling down at him while handing the paper out. "Here. But the letters are in my hotel room so those will have to wait." Even when his bodyguard took the paper he didn't make a move to get away, staying far too close to Kaoru's liking.
It caused the bodyguard to press himself a bit deeper into the seat, but he somehow managed to keep his cool and took the paper with a smile. "Of course. I should've known that." He felt like a newbie, although he did this job for almost ten years already. Still, this young redhead was quite something and Kaoru was certain that this assignment would need all his strength. Maybe not in the way it usually did though.
"So the shoot is over at ten already? But then there's a gap here," he pointed at the note. "Between the end of the shoot and getting back to the hotel." He had been informed that this was only a shoot for a commercial which usually didn't take too long since everybody knew what he had to do and there weren't too many takes.
"Yes, a gap. I will need to get lunch and do some shopping." The answer came with a casual shrug and a stunning smile, as the redhead flung around again to head back to the make up table. Elegantly he sat down, crossed his legs and turned to look at his reflection in the mirror. It didn't take Kaoru long to notice he was looking at him though, even winking as he got caught. "Of course you will accompany me. Usually I have Maiko there too, but she's busy now."
For a second, the bodyguard was simply speechless. He had known extravagant clients, bitchy ones, arrogant ones and had really thought he had seen everything. But this man, not much younger than he himself, was charming and even flirty. He could easily make you feel like a blushing schoolgirl which was probably the reason why he was so popular amongst teenage girls and could hardly get away from them when he was spotted somewhere.
"Maiko?" he asked, arching an eyebrow. "Your stylist?" He assumed that somebody like Die didn't have a girlfriend, more likely several, as he had a tight schedule just like any actor with his degree of popularity.
"Yes, one of them. The one who follows me practically everywhere." Die tilted his head a bit to look straight at the other man. This was an interesting case. Usually the bodyguards he had seen, his own and everyone else's, had been these muscled macho-guys and he had been surprised to see such a slim, attractive man walk in and introduce himself.
This Kaoru had the looks, his dark hair framing his face with slightly sharp features. Definitely something far better than the usual. Die didn't say anything out loud though, just gave one of his stunning smiles and turned to the mirror again as a girl walked in, apparently to fix his makeup.
During the shoot, Kaoru was standing behind the cameras, a bit away from the action and kept his eyes on Die and his doings. It wasn't likely that anybody managed to get into the building just to attack this popular, yet not too interesting enough, actor. Still, it was his job and he was paid by the hour, so he folded his arms across his chest and did what he was supposed to; watching.
After some time he found himself unable to look away even, as there was something in Die that made one just want to stare at him. He still had the movements, the smile and gestures of a young boy, but it seemed to be a façade and Kaoru was sure Die knew very well the effect he had on other people. The bodyguard had to admit though that he fell for the other man's charm as well, only that he didn't allow it to have any effect on him.
After the shoot was over, he accompanied the redhead back to the changing room. "So, would you prefer to eat something first or go shopping?" he asked casually while he watched Die's back as he slipped out of the shirt, revealing perfect smooth and flawless white skin.
The redhead didn't seem to have any problems in undressing in front of a person who was practically a stranger, and he just threw the clothes he had used heedlessly on the couch, slipping into his dressing gown for the time being. "A cup of coffee would do good."
He had moved in front of the mirror to take off the make up and didn't seem to need to concentrate on the task as he kept on glancing at the bodyguard. "And afterwards the shopping and then we can have a good meal. You will of course eat with me as well." He went on merrily, explaining everything although it was already mostly on his time table. "And then in the evening you will accompany me to have dinner, around eight preferably, and after that you're free for the evening."
Kaoru frowned for a moment. It wasn't usual that the bodyguard actually participated in his client's activities, more like silently watched them. To make sure Die had really meant it that way he spoke up lowly, but couldn't tear his eyes of the slender form in the dressing gown which revealed more than it concealed. "You mean I will accompany you to dinner? As in eating with you?" He had been told to fulfil this customer's every wish as Daisuke Andou was known to have special wishes which were NEVER to be denied by anybody.
"Yes," The redhead rolled his eyes, letting out a theatrical sigh. "I thought I was already clear enough. You will eat with me. And then bring me back to the hotel." He turned on his seat to face the other man, tilting his head and smiling at him. "It's your responsibility to keep me safe." They both knew that it was just speaking the obvious, but that didn't stop the actor from saying it. He got up again, simply throwing the dressing gown away before stepping into his clothes, getting ready to leave the studio.
The commanding undertone in his voice impressed Kaoru a bit and he simply nodded, smiling to himself. This young man certainly was a spoiled brat, but he was also a lot nicer than some of his former clients and definitely worth to catch a bullet for him if needed.
The car was already waiting for them outside and no matter how sternly Kaoru refused to drive with him and instead take a separate car like it was usual, Die forced him to come along, almost treating him like a friend. It was a very hot day and the air-conditioning in the car was highly appreciated by the bodyguard. Yet, he was hot and would have preferred to get rid of his jacket which wasn't possible of course.
It didn't take long and Die told the driver to stop, announcing merrily that they would have the promised coffee next. Instantly he stepped out of the car and led the way to a pretty small but obviously high-class coffeehouse just beside where the car had stopped. He took a glance over his shoulder to make sure that the bodyguard was following him, and when they were inside he stopped just long enough give him further instructions. "I'm having cappuccino. You can choose for yourself." With that he continued to a small table near the window, obviously assuming that the other man would place the orders for him.
Kaoru followed him with his gaze, his jaw dropping a few inches. Was he a servant or what? Besides, when he took care of the orders, who would watch his client? That wasn't going to work. Grumbling, he ordered the cappuccino and a double espresso for himself before heading to the table the redhead had chosen.
"Die," he began instantly once he had sat down opposite to the redhead. "I can't watch you when I am busy getting your drinks. That's not how it's supposed to be and won't work. I have to do my job. Your safety comes first, after all."
"I was in the very same room with you the whole time, only a couple of meters away. Nothing could've happened." Die rolled his eyes, taking the cup and instantly sipping from it carefully. He didn't seem to be interested in the topic, only based his chin on his palm and turned to look out of the window, apparently more fascinated by the view than talking about work.
Kaoru frowned at first, and was just about to go on when Die suddenly turned to look at him, those soft brown eyes gazing deep into his own. "So, Kaoru. Tell me something about yourself." Despite the slight demanding undertone the redhead sounded friendly, smiling curiously.
The smaller man flinched a bit, the frown deepening even more, but then he began to tell mere facts. What kind of school he had visited to where he had learned to become a professional bodyguard, how long he did the job and so on.
Die listened, at times paying more attention to his coffee than to the conversation though. When Kaoru started to list more facts he cut him off with an annoyed handgesture, looking up. "Tell me something interesting." He demanded, gazing deep into the other man's eyes. "You know, something you don't usually tell strangers. What's your favorite TV-show, do you prefer summer or winter. Interesting things."
It startled Kaoru and threw him off the track for a moment. Finally, he thought he could give away a bit of himself at least. Die had a way to make one feel comfortable, despite his demanding attitude at times. "I hate wearing suits," he gave away with a wide grin, even chuckling a bit. It was the truth, although those looked good on him and were stylish, he preferred more casual clothes in private or at least cool suits and not the whole deal. "Most of all ties," he added after a moment.
"You do? But you look good in a suit." Die looked even surprised, his eyes widening slightly. Soon he was smiling again though, even chuckling. "Then take the tie off."
"I'd rather not," the smaller man shook his head. "This is duty and I am supposed to look decent." Yet, he had thought about the matter for a moment and since it was really hot, he at least loosened the tie a bit.
"But I am your job," The redhead smirked, even winking at the other man and leaning a bit closer to him over the table. "And I want you to take off the tie." '...and the rest of your clothes,' he added silently in his mind but didn't say it out loud.
Smirking, Kaoru obeyed and took off the tie, hanging it over the chair's backrest. There was a certain sparkle in the other man's eyes which made him nervous again and instinctively retreat a bit, leaning backwards casually. "Thanks."
"No problem." Die shrugged slightly, taking a sip of his coffee again, his gaze turned at the cooling liquid in the cup. "You can just leave it in the car when we go shopping." He informed, placing the cup down as he had decided he wouldn't drink the rest of it.
Kaoru felt a bit uncertain with this young man who looked so good and always seemed to mean something else than the words said that were coming out of his mouth. To get rid of the ideas and images his mind provided him, he shook his head shortly and then smiled. "So shopping now?"
Always when a client had gone shopping, it had evolved into a massive raid of various designer boutiques and had taken ages. One look at the redheaded man in front of him said that it wouldn't be different today. Die surely was a fashion victim, but that was something the job brought, Kaoru thought.
"Yes." The redhead nodded with a smile, and got up from his seat to lead the way out of the coffeehouse. The car was still waiting for them outside and they took it to get to the first place, a hellishly expensive and famous store for brand clothes. Die seemed to be at home there though, and the moment he stepped inside he received customer service, got directed to the sections he was interested in. He made Kaoru hold the clothes for him, and urged him to follow when he went to try them on as well.
The bodyguard's cheeks were flushed as the situation embarrassed him a bit. If one of his colleagues now saw him, carrying a pile of clothes and judging the different pants and shirts his client tried by nodding or shaking his head. This was just unprofessional, but after some time, Kaoru didn't give a damn anymore. If that was what Die wanted, he had to agree and try his best to keep an eye on the surrounding. At least this wasn't the place where an attack usually would take place and he was mostly hired for the big award show anyway.
Die never seemed to get tired though, going through shops without showing even the slightest signs that he would stop anytime soon. Still after the eleventh store that day his enthusiasm died as soon as it had appeared, and he announced he wanted to get back to the hotel. He claimed he was tired and his feet were hurting, the statement earning a silent groan from Kaoru who had been the one to carry all the purchases, his arms loaded with plastic bags and cardboard boxes.
He felt like a husband shopping with his wife with the only exception that he didn't have to pay but got paid for this. Still, once he had stored all the stuff in the trunk of the car, he was glad to finally sit down again, releasing a relieved sigh. Job or not, this was the moment where he finally took off his jacket, the back of his shirt showing a round spot of sweat. "You want to take dinner in the hotel?" he asked by the way when the car already drove down the street.
"No, the restaurant isn't that good. They only serve this weird seafood that isn't meant for humans." Die rolled his eyes and shook his head, a gesture that had already gotten familiar to the bodyguard. "You'll pick another place. And I need a moment to change and rest, so pick me up at half past seven." He informed casually, expecting his every wish to be followed.
"I pick a place?" This time, it was Kaoru's turn to roll his eyes, but he swallowed the comment that was lying on his tongue. He was no fucking secretary! At least the redhead had given away that he didn't like seafood, so no chance for the bodyguard's favourite sushi restaurant. Sighing, he asked still. "What kind of food do you like then?" What was it with this man that made him agree to anything he wanted? Kaoru had no idea.
"Nothing slimy that has lived underwater. And nothing too spicy." The redhead pursed his lips, obviously pondering the matter and after a moment added. "Oh, and I want a place that serves proper desserts."
"Of course." Kaoru's voice carried a slight mocking undertone. Seeing Die's slim, almost skinny, figure didn't make it easy to think he had a thing for sweets. Probably he wouldn't even finish his meal in the end. The car halted in front of the hotel and the redhead left it in Kaoru's responsibility to tell the concierge where to take the shoppings. Saying that he needed to get ready and wanted a moment of rest, he simply left the bodyguard standing there.
It was how Die had gotten used to do things, having people serve him and fulfil his every wish. In his hotelroom he instantly got rid of his clothes and prepared himself a bath, not knowing a better way to relax than that. He was already looking forward to the evening though, and inwardly thought it was a pity that the handsome bodyguard hadn't brought the shoppings up to his room himself.
Kaoru used the moment of rest to freshen up as well, trying to get his mind free and focus on this assignment. He even sat down and meditated for half an hour to calm down. Still, once he got up to wash himself, there was an image of his client in his mind and he didn't wear too many clothes. This would become harder than he had thought. Neatly dressed in one of his favourite suits, no tie, he stood in front of Die's door at half past seven flat, running his fingers through his hair once before he knocked.
"Come in!" A voice sounded through the door as it obviously wasn't locked. Die hated it when he had to drop everything he was doing only to go and open the door and so he simply didn't bother to lock it during the day in the first place. He wasn't even dressed yet, only wearing a light blue dressing gown, which this time was almost see-through. As he spotted Kaoru a content smile spread on his lips and he nodded approvingly. "No tie..."
"I thought I could leave it away," the smaller man answered winking, but then took on an admonishing tone. "You should lock your door. Makes my job easier or I will have to stand before it all day." It was only partly a joke and he could have slapped the redhead for being this careless. Yet, all further arguments were forgotten when he took a closer look at his client in this whiff of nothing he might have called a dressing gown. He himself had been bold enough to choose a more stylish suit, more casual and even wore sneakers with it, hoping this was okay for his boss.
The only answer was a dismissive handgesture though, along with a carefree chuckle. "Then stand there all day. But preferably on the inside." With swaying hips the redhead approached the huge hotelbed where he had scattered apparently half of his clothes.
When Kaoru noticed that he was staring, his lips slightly parted with drool threatening to drip down any second, he quickly averted his gaze and cleared his throat. "I do have to sleep too," he explained in what he was hoping a businesslike manner. "So it would be very nice if you locked your door at least at nights or then get a second bodyguard." Only then, he happened to remember something. "Oh I would still like to take a short look at those letters later maybe."
"We can take care of that tomorrow." Die turned his head to smile sweetly at the other man, only averting his attention from the clothes for a moment. "I'm WAY too tired to do that right now." Despite his words he looked more hyperactive than tired. "My feet hurt like hell too, after all the walking... you could offer me a massage, you know."
Kaoru chuckled, assuming that his had been a joke. Only when Die kept on looking at him in the same way like before without moving, he suddenly stopped. "That was no joke?"
"No." Die shook his head, looking completely serious. "Why would it be?"
"Because I'm your bodyguard and not your lover." Right after the words had left his mouth, Kaoru could have slapped himself. Die's go-lucky nature still managed to catch him off guard.
"That can be changed." The redhead winked, grinning freely. It was impossible to tell if he was joking or being serious, his expression something in between.
For a moment, those words cause the bodyguard's heartbeat to speed up, but he was still professional enough not to show it. "No personal relationships to clients," he answered, but grinned to take the seriousness away from the statement although he truly meant it. One of the most important things in his profession was to draw a clear line between job and privacy. This assignment, however, had already violated this rule more than once. And it was only the first day. "Maybe we should go? We're going to be late for dinner," he suggested, making an inviting handgesture towards the door.
Die gave him a long glance, before gesturing down at his own body. "I ain't even dressed yet." He pointed out with a small grin. Turning back to the heaps of clothes he took a closer look before deciding for a plain, dark shirt that was tight enough to hug his body and make him look stunning. And he knew it. But then he hesitated and finally took two options into his hands, presenting them to the other man. "You choose."
It didn't take the bodyguard two seconds to decide and he nodded at a pair of more loose pants with various accessories like studs, chains and leather straps. "That one." He had to swallow though, because these baggy pants together with the tight shirt would definitely look just droolable on the other man's slender form. The fact that those pants were quite low and tight around the hips and butt didn't make it easier for Kaoru to concentrate on protecting his client instead of attacking him himself.
Giving a small content nod Die didn't waste any more time. When the bodyguard politely turned his eyes away he just quickly changed into the clothes and then disappeared into the bathroom. He came back surprisingly soon though, after brushing his hair and making sure he looked as stunning as possible. Giving the other man a slight nod with a smile he headed towards the door already eager to get something to eat. "So where are you taking me?"
"There is this small but very exclusive Italian restaurant I know and I managed to get a table for us. It's not too far and safe," Kaoru answered, quickly following his client. "I only didn't know the number of your driver, so I ordered us a taxi," he went on while they were already waiting for the elevator.
"Taxi is alright." Die approved with a small nod, the smile still on his face. It was almost as if he was always smiling, and maybe that was a part of his charm as hardly anyone was able to resist that smile. "And Italian food sounds good too." He complimented with a small nod. As they arrived at the already awaiting taxi he waited for the other man to open the door for him even, before sliding to the backseat.
Without him seeing it, Kaoru rolled his eyes and then followed behind. This smelled suspiciously like a date and although he would've never denied the redhead in his private life, this was his job still. From the corner of his eye, he noticed Die was looking at him with a smug smile on his lips, shifting a bit only to cross his legs in a nonchalant way. His movements were smooth and cool, definitely something Kaoru appreciated in his men; elegance, beauty and just this certain little something extra which the other had lots of.
They didn't talk during the drive, but still they both were casting covert glances at each other every time they thought the other one wouldn't notice. Die still thought that this bodyguard was the most attractive thing he had seen in a long time, and he consciously posed for him each time he got the chance. Either by shifting on his seat a bit or tilting his head, all those small things he knew made him appear even more charming than he already was.
Just like any man who was attracted to somebody, Kaoru was highly receptive for small gestures like that and he was truly thankful when the taxi stopped in front of the restaurant. Maybe a bit too hasty, he jumped out of the car to open the door for the redheaded man. "I hope it's alright that I charged the car to your room," he asked while leading the way to the entrance, again opening the door to let the other man in first, but more to steal a short glance at Die's behind than to be a gentleman.
"It's fine. I'm not paying for the room myself anyways." Die shrugged, giving his companion a grin. They were led to a table that had been reserved for them, and as soon as they had sat down, Die locked his gaze on the other man. For some reason he felt slightly like being on a date as well, and the thought made him grin since he definitely didn't mind.
The romantic interior of the small restaurant added up to that feeling and so did the burning candle on the table. It was a very exclusive place too and so they didn't have to wait long until the waiter appeared to ask them what they wanted to drink and offered the wine menu. "Would you like some wine?" Kaoru asked smiling. He of course didn't intend on drinking alcohol since this wasn't a date despite how it appeared.
"Of course." Die replied, smiling softly at the other man. "You pick something for us." He stressed the last word slightly, keeping his eyes locked on Kaoru to see his every possible reaction. He clearly enjoyed the effect he had on his bodyguard, never missing a chance to try it.
"Die," the bodyguard smiled almost softly, "you know I can't drink on duty and I won't. But this chardonnay is really good." He pointed at a very expensive wine on the menu, nodding even to underline his remark.
"Come on," the redhead tried to sound convincing. "You will be off duty straight after dinner, a bit of wine won't harm anyone." He winked, chuckling a bit. "Besides it'd help you loosen up and make you relax a bit."
For a moment, Kaoru considered the matter and then tilted his head, looking straight at his client with slightly pursed lips. "On one condition only. You promise me to lock your door from now on." A sip wouldn't harm him as he could hold his drink very well and already sitting at the table with his client was violating the rules anyways. One more wouldn't kill anybody. Hopefully. "I would never get another assignment if you got killed because I was too drunk to protect you," he added with a wink.
"Alright," Die only considered it for a short while, but then came to the conclusion that he would rather enjoy himself now than to save himself a few steps later on. "I promise I will lock the door." He tilted his head a bit, giving the other man a meaningful grin. "Which doesn't mean you couldn't still stay in the room."
"I told you that I do have to sleep too," the dark haired man winked, adding 'and we wouldn't get there if I stayed over' in his mind. Again he was glad when the waiter appeared to take the orders for the wine, bringing a bottle of sparkling water with him already. After his glass was filled, Kaoru instantly took a long sip, needing it to cool down. He would have loved to smoke a cigarette now, but didn't dare since he hadn't seen the redhead smoke before and it would be rude to do it then.
"Who needs sleep anyways," Die mumbled after a moment, clearly disagreeing with the other man. He would've certainly preferred to have company during the night too. Still he didn't argue, only turned his attention towards the menu to see what he would want to eat. While thinking he was slightly chewing on his lower lip, a thoughtful gesture, along with that he ran his fingers through his hair, toying with the strands.
Kaoru watched him for a moment, a smile dancing at the corners of his mouth. Die looked as if either something bothered him or then if he was just busy choosing the perfect meal. He kept quiet though and directed his own gaze down at the menu in his hand. It didn't take him long to choose though and he used the time to glance at the other man every now and then, allowing his eyes to caress his boyish features.
Die was completely aware of the other man's eyes on him, but didn't show it. He just made sure to try and look as good as possible, with all the little gestures and expressions. This bodyguard was fascinating him more and more with each passing moment and he was determined to get closer to the man, no matter what.
During the rest of the dinner they kept on chatting casually, and very much to his contentment the redhead noticed that the other man was giving him long, intense glances whenever he thought he wouldn't notice. This was looking good, and he would just have to come up with a good plan to get what he wanted. For the time being, he simply concentrated on enjoying the dinner though, and he noticed that he was actually having a good time, much more than he had expected even.
Suddenly, something drew Kaoru's attention away from Die for a moment and he spotted two girls approaching them, giggling and looking straight at the redhead. It made him smile and he turned to look at his boss. "Want me to get rid of them or will you grant them an autograph?" he asked. Usually, he would have just stood up and told the girls to leave his client alone and have his meal in peace, but somehow he sensed that Die enjoyed the attention and thus rather asked him for his wishes.
"Let them come." Die flashed a bright grin, eyeing the fans from the corner of his eyes. "As long as there's only a couple of them it's no bother." He was carefully avoiding showing he had noticed the girls, but nevertheless made sure he looked as good as possible, with the slight smile on his lips and tucked a strand of hair behind his ear.
Once the girls were close, Kaoru stood up from his seat, turning their attention towards himself. He only needed to arch an eyebrow and one of them already blushed embarrassed. "Are you Daisuke Andou? I've been a fan of you for almost a year now." The other girl interrupted her, being totally nervous as it seemed. "May we ask for an autograph?" "And a picture with you?" the other one added. The bodyguard just stood there and made sure that there weren't more who had spotted them. Other than that, he had to smile as he noticed how Die was flirting with the girls with his gestures, the way how he moved his head and slowly turned to look at them.
Die seemed to be totally at ease, as if he had been born to do this, charm fans and make them fall in love with him at an instant. He signed the autographs and even generously allowed the girls to take a couple of pictures with him and of him, and finally the blushing girls left, looking like this had been the best day of their lives. And they weren't the only ones. Die was practically glowing, his smile wide and honest and his eyes sparkling as he seemed to enjoy the attention to no end.
It rubbed off on his bodyguard and soon Kaoru found himself smiling too, dreamily staring at his boss whenever he accidentally let his guard down. Maybe it was the wine. He shouldn't have agreed upon drinking some. Deep down inside he knew thought that this wasn't the reason why he began to behave like a teenaged girl. Apparently, Die wasn't only good at charming fans, but at charming experienced men too. Glad for the distraction, Kaoru accepted the dessert menu from the waiter, curious what the redhead would choose.
Despite the fact that he was behaving like a diva Die knew how to appreciate good food and he was delighted as he saw the long list of various sweet desserts. Finally he settled for a piece of what was called 'the chocolate cake of dreams', figuring it would be the best one to try.
Kaoru knew that one and chuckled a bit. "That will give you spots, you know." He only ordered an espresso for himself, nothing else.
"It won't." The actor shook his head, giving the other man a wink. "I have the perfect skin." He was totally self confident and hadn't lied, his skin being smooth and nice.
'Darn, he's right,' Kaoru thought, but only gave him a wide smile. This young man certainly didn't lack self-confidence and it impressed him how secure and how much at ease with himself Die seemed to be. Somehow, he managed to never appear arrogant though unless he wanted it; smiling at the waiter and always being polite.
They were soon finished with the dessert too, and set out to leave the place. Die was in an utterly good mood, smiling all along and when they arrived at the hotel he turned to look at the other man. "Want to come up? Technically you're off now though."
Again, hearing a question like that from his client startled Kaoru and he hesitated a moment before he answered. "Thank you, but I think I'd rather go and see if the gym here's decent. I need a bit of training." He gave a stunning smile though, hoping his denial wouldn't offend the other man.
"Suit yourself. And be sure to arrive here around eleven, I need my lunch then." The redhead mirrored the smile instantly, nodding at the other man as thanks still. They parted then, Die heading up to his hotelroom and Kaoru determinedly going to search for the gym.
