seinen_no: Well well, we seem to be uber-slow these days. I apologize for that, but I don't even know why since thigns were going quite alright for me at least lately. Anyhow, we keep the fics coming quicker now (hopefully) to get it over with the Christmas fics XD I still hope you like it and enjoy reading! *hugs you all*
fonulyn: As you can see, we do write something else too than mere DiexKaoru XD This time out of a request though, as this is one more of our Christmas-present fics. Personally I like it a lot, the nice mood and how they simply are together building their life^^ There’s some smut too but not that much, this time it actually even has a plot too \o/ Oh, and Kaoru makes a big appearance here too! And I think I should mention that Die is a bit more hyperactive than usual, but I think it kinda fits him x) Please, do enjoy!
And feel free to add our journal if you like the stories!
Plus, the archive.

A New Home
Chapter 1
Kyo was sitting on the kitchen counter, shuffled his feet and chewed on a toast with strawberry jam without paying too much attention to it since he was focusing on reading a sheet of paper he held in his hand. It was already stained by various dark red spots, but that didn't seem to bother the small vocalist as he simply, whenever a bit of jam dropped down on the paper, lifted it up to his mouth, licking the sticky substance off.
After the toast was gone, he blindly reached for a mug filled with coffee and cream to take a sip before attacking the next toast. He simply loved Sunday mornings like these; the sun shining and neither he nor his lover having any appointments or other obligations to attend.
The said lover was stepping into the kitchen at that moment, clad only in his underwear and a huge t-shirt as he hadn't bothered to put on any decent clothes yet. He was yawning, scratching the back of his neck, and his hair was sticking into every possible direction. It always was though, as he had cut his hair really short this time, liking how spiky it was. All in all it was obvious that he had just gotten up from bed though, and he simply blindly headed to the coffee maker to pour himself a mugful. Only after a long sip he seemed to wake up slightly, blinking at the smaller man. "What're you reading there?"
Without raising his gaze, Kyo answered. "A rental agreement." Marking the part where he had stopped with his finger, he finally looked up and gave the redhead a wide smile. "I know it's a bit too late to read it now that it's already signed, but better late than never, right? I at least want to know what's awaiting us when we move there." After taking another sip from his coffee, he turned back to the paper, seemingly very concentrated.
"That's true. Better to read it once anyways." Die nodded, taking another sip of coffee. Only at that point his brains seemed to register the whole content of the other man's words, and his eyes flew wide while he almost choked on the dark brown liquid. Coughing forcefully he set the mug down on the counter, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand before turning his attention completely to the small blonde. "Us? When WE move in?" His voice cracked a bit, and he coughed again, but still didn't turn his questioning gaze away from the other man.
"That's the point in getting an apartment together, right?" the small blonde vocalist asked hypocritically. "What sense would it make if only one of us moved in there?"
"Well, yeah, you're right, but..." Die shook his head, stunned and totally caught off guard. They had never talked about moving in together! Sure, he had nothing against it, and it wasn't like they didn't already spend most of their time together anyways, the blonde occupying the redhead's apartment more often than his own. Still, he hadn't seen this coming, ESPECIALLY now that Kyo seemed to have already rented the apartment for them without even consulting him.
"You couldn't tell be about this a bit before, could you?" He had inwardly already surrendered to his fate though, oddly flattered too that the other man wanted to live with him. "I can't just leave like that! I have to get rid of my apartment, pack everything, take care of re-directing my mail and it'll take at least a month to get everything ready and..."
During his endless monologue, Kyo had jumped off the counter and approached him, finally shutting him up with a deep kiss as he tiptoed, grabbed the taller man's neck and just pulled him down. Then he got back to his former place and grinned. "Don't worry about this stuff. Your landlord cancelled the rental agreement anyways."
With a huge sigh, he reached behind himself for a small paperback folder, tossing it on the table. "You're too loud," he said grinning, leaned back and waited for Die to check the content of the folder. "And about the other things," Kyo shrugged casually, "packing is done in no time and re-directing your mail takes like what? An hour or so at the post office."
"But I'll have to notify all the people I know about it too, and..." Again Die had already spoken before he had even comprehended everything the other had said, but then it dawned on him. "Wait! He cancelled the rental agreement anyways? And I'm WHAT?" He took the folder and opened it instantly.
While he was reading his face went through several shades of red, and he coughed embarrassedly. "I never realized the walls are so thin... Besides," He turned to look the small man into the eye, creating a beautiful pout. "it's all YOUR fault anyways! I'm not noisy when I'm here alone."
"You are," the other man insisted and nodded towards the folder. "The letter of complaint from March 25th. Obviously one of your neighbours had a LOT of time to write down the details and I KNOW for certain that I wasn't here that day." He grinned victoriously and then held up the stained sheet of paper, the new rental agreement, towards his lover. "And that's why I thought we should have a house with nobody above or underneath us. Then," his expression became softer, but the smile more dirty, "you can be loud all you want."
The words caused the redhead's cheeks burn bright red, matching the color of his hair almost perfectly. "So you've thought this through perfectly, right?" He had to smile though as the soft look on Kyo's face was something that was reserved for only him, and it always made him feel special to receive a smile like that. "Whaddya mean a house with no one above or underneath us? What kind of place is it then?"
The vocalist shrugged. "A house. A small house with an even smaller garden." After receiving a questioning look from the redhead, he waved his hands. "Okay, it's only a terrace, but hey, this here doesn't even have a balcony." The next second, he grinned again. "And we'll have one room extra." He said those words with certain suggestiveness in his voice, because he just enjoyed teasing the redhead and making him blush.
"A house? And you're sure we can afford it?" The redhead's eyes widened slightly in surprise. It sounded good, and he had always wanted a small house like that. If he wasn't mistaken he had even mentioned that to the smaller man around the time when they first got together long ago. But Kyo couldn't remember that anymore, could he? The slight blush was still lingering on Die's cheeks as he turned his gaze down, a grin tugging his lips. "An extra room? That sounds cool..."
"We'll save the rent for one apartment and, reality check Die," the vocalist again slid off the counter, slowly approaching the redhead, "we earn quite some money lately. The time of just eating ramen every fucking day is over." Smiling, he wrapped his arms around the taller man's waist, looking up to him.
"I think it's about time we move in together." He had indeed thought about this matter for
longer and since he knew that Die tended to create a huge fuzz about things as he wanted everything to be set and perfect, he had taken the initiative. Okay, the fact that he had kept the letters of complaint away from his lover had force him to do so, kinda. Still, it didn't change that he thought it was a good idea and he DID remember what Die had told him about living in a house once. He remembered almost everything they had been talking about, only that he would never admit it to anybody.
Smiling Die wrapped his arms around the other man in return, leaning down to press a chaste kiss on his lips. "I'll have to agree. As long as I'll have enough time to do the packing things should go smoothly. We can ask the guys to help with moving and all. When do we move then? In the end of the month?" He arched an eyebrow questioningly, and truth to be told he was quite curious to see that new home of theirs already. "Maybe we can go see the place before, so I know what to take with me and what to throw away and all, maybe we should get some more furniture and..."
Two fingers that were put over his lips stopped him from going on. Kyo had blushed a bit, at least his ears were gleaming red which showed that he was expecting Die to freak out any second. Still, he sounded casual for everybody who didn't know him when he mentioned. "Next weekend." He didn't say anything further, only that and waited for his lover's reaction.
"You mean we can go see the place next weekend?" Die nodded slowly, looking somewhat thoughtful. "That's cool, it's not too far away, and I can already start packing beforehand."
"Babe," Kyo looked up, shaking his head softly. "I meant you have to be out of here by next Sunday." Only then it occurred to him that his plan did have flaws and that he maybe should've told the redhead earlier already. But then, what difference would it make? Like this, Die had less time to be nervous and freak out and would have to concentrate on the essential things to get everything done.
"WHAT!?" Die didn't even notice that his voice was a highly un-manly shriek as he startled. A week to do all the packing and to get ready for moving out? That was hardly enough to sort half of the things, definitely not enough to get everything he owned packed. "You do realize that it's only a week!? We still have to work, how in HELL am I supposed to get everything packed and ready? And we can't do the moving during one day, we need at least the weekend, which means that I have only like five and half days to pack!"
The vocalist looked at his lips, without really realizing what he said. Then, he shrugged again. "Don't pretend you own a lot. I can pack you the whole content of the living room within two hours, if you want to," he claimed full-bodied. "And we only have TWO meetings this week, so we have enough time for everything. Besides," he smirked, "I'm intending on asking the others for help, so no worries."
"You're going to drive me into an early grave, I hope you know that." Die sighed theatrically, shaking his head a bit. Although the whole thought of the moving made him nervous he somehow managed not to panic, concentrating on the warm presence right beside him and the strong arms wrapped around him. "And I do own a lot!" He protested. "You're the one to always complain I can't throw anything away."
"True," Kyo chuckled, planting a small kiss on his lover's lips. "I can change that. Just gimme twenty minutes and a huge rubbish sack," he offered. After slapping Die's butt once, he detached though. "But now I will get dressed and go to MY apartment to work on MY lyrics." A bit quieter, he added. "And maybe pack some things."
"Right, just drop the bomb and then walk away to leave me panic here all alone!" Although Die was complaining, one could hear the amusement in his voice and it was clear he didn't mean it totally seriously. "And don't you dare to leave without giving me a decent kiss first!" He threatened when the other had already left the room in the search for his clothes. In order to calm down Die took a huge sip of coffee, filling his mug again as it was empty. He knew that Kyo would tell him to stop that as coffee made him even more hyperactive, but right now he didn't care.
When the blonde man re-appeared in the kitchen, wearing socks and a jeans only so far, he shook his head like predicted. "You shouldn't drink more than one cup now," he only said, but then took a hold of the cuff of Die's boxers to pull him close. He used the moment too to take a teasing look inside, grinning. "Well, but if it makes you hyperactive, then try to spare some energy for tonight." With having said that, he let go off the cuff, made it slap against the redhead's belly and pursed his lips, expecting a kiss.
He received a playful slap on the back of his head though. "What makes you think you'd get any?" Die pursed his lips, creating a frown. "You should be the one who tries to make it up to me for causing me heart attacks like that." The frown didn't last for long though, as he couldn't resist the temptation and leaned forward to plant a kiss on the smaller man's lips.
Kyo didn't allow him to pull back too soon and kept the kiss on going for longer than the redhead had intended. When they finally parted again, the blonde man smirked widely. "If news like that cause you a heart attack, then it might be better not to do anything else. Could be too much for your old heart."
While he spoke, his right hand travelled up the other man's thigh, finally brushing lightly over his crotch. "But now you'll have enough time to calm down, 'cause I'm gone." After pecking Die's lips again, Kyo turned around, ready to get his shirt and jacket and then leave. He really wanted to work on some lyrics and couldn't use a nervous Die run around and pack things.
Besides, he had decided to call his mother and tell her he would move in together with the other man. That would at least be fun and cause the old lady a serious heart-attack. They had known about their relationship, but had tried to ignore it and it really had annoyed the small vocalist to no end. So now, they would have to deal with things finally.
The redhead was about to answer something still, but he was too slow and the sound of door closing told him that the other man had left the apartment already. With a huge sigh Die downed the rest of his coffee and sauntered to the living room in search for his mobile phone. He needed someone to help him and wanted to vent anyways, so he simply dialled the number of his best friend. He at least was used to Die's way to react hyperactively, as they had been friends for ages.
The voice that sounded at the other end of the line was low, muffled and one could tell that its owner had been still asleep a few moments ago. "Die, are you nuts calling me at this time on a FREE Sunday?" Since they knew each other for ages, Die could tell that his friend wasn't really angry, only wanted to get his point straight.
"Shut up Kao," Die chuckled, amused by the sleepiness in the other man's voice. "I need your help, alright. I mean, Kyo just left, and left me to deal with things all alone here. I need to pack everything I own and I only have a friggin' WEEK, can you believe? No, scratch that, I only have FIVE DAYS. I need a super-organizer here, and you're the only one who has brain capacity to survive through everything."
"You have to pack what? You're moving?" Kaoru asked, sitting up in his bed. When Die had told him what had happened that morning, the lead-guitarist laughed whole-heartedly. "Did he fake your signature or what? You have to keep him under control Die or he will once adopt a child without you knowing it."
"I'm just waiting for that to happen," Die rolled his eyes although the other man didn't see it, releasing another huge sigh theatrically. "I think he's practiced my signature, you know, because he's managed to fool practically everyone to be able to do this."
"Sue him and get him into prison," his friend suggested. Kaoru was already on his way to the kitchen and one could hear that he was fixing himself a coffee too. "Gimme an hour and I'll be there. Meanwhile, you begin to throw away your mags. You don't need them anymore anyways," he suggested as he knew that his friend had kept every single magazine he had bought within the past years.
"But I might read them once again and..." Die shut up instantly as he received a warning growl from his friend, and sighed a bit in defeat. "I will throw them away. But not everything, I can still keep a few, can't I?"
"Just wait for me and I will help you to get rid of the stuff you don't need anymore," Kaoru said. He knew that there were boxes in Die's basement which he hadn't opened since the last time he moved and it would be easy for him to convince the redhead to get rid of them without looking inside again. "Just remember that Kyo has quite much stuff too."
"I know. But he bought us a house! You actually believe that? A house!" One could clearly hear that the redhead was practically beaming, only now fully realizing that he would actually be living in a real house with his boyfriend.
"A house?" The lead-guitarist was stunned. He had been sure that both of his friends were serious about each other, but buying a house equalled a marriage certificate. "He bought it?" he asked again, disbelieving. "Wow."
"Yeah, he did." Die nodded several times although the other guitarist couldn't possibly see it. "Believe me, I first thought he was joking! But he wasn't! He really got us one, and I even saw the contracts and everything."
"Make sure that you still have all your money on your account," the older guitarist joked. "Now that he knows how to fake your signature, he could have fallen for sharing the money for the house." Then, he said that he would cut the talk and be there within an hour to help Die with organizing the move.
Like promised, he appeared at the redhead's apartment not much later, congratulating his friend with a hug. "Now it's getting serious huh? Only one week to change your mind."
Die hugged the other man back before detaching from him, his smile as wide as it could possibly even get. "He always tends to surprise me, but this is the biggest thing thus far. I would've never guessed! And I didn't even know he wanted to live in a house..." They headed towards the living-room while Die went on babbling, obviously having drunk too much coffee already. "And on the other hand I could KILL him for not telling me earlier! I bet he loves it to make me freak out like this."
Kaoru sat down on the couch and listened patiently to his friend's explanations. "Well," he grinned, "I don't know. Maybe he just really didn't think about it." Then, something occurred to him and he frowned. "But don't you have to tell your landlord that you move and get rid of this apartment first? It's impossible to move AND to find a new tenant you can present."
"Uhm, about that..." Die scratched his neck, a deep blush appearing on his cheeks as he averted his gaze down to the floor. "He's kicking me out anyways. So that's at least one thing less to worry about."
"Kicks you out?" The older guitarist's frown deepened. "Just like that? Or did you again set fire somewhere?" He couldn't believe that the redhead has gotten himself into troubles again. The last apartment had been almost burned completely after a party Die had given there.
"No, I didn't set a fire anywhere." The younger one shook his head instantly, his blush even deepening a bit. "But the neighbours have been complaining about... the noise."
That confession made Kaoru burst out laughing and he held his hurting stomach. "Die, you two are impossible!" Without going into details further, he dug out a notepad and a pen, writing down a few things that would have to be done before the moving. As soon as he had calmed down enough to stop laughing of course.
Die's first reaction was to frown, but he forgot it soon enough as they both set out to make some sort of sense into the massive amount of magazines the redhead had stored in his apartment. Soon Die found himself sitting on the floor, surrounded by huge heaps of magazines while Kaoru sat on the couch with a huge garbage bag right beside him.
They were arguing about every single mag that went into the bag, but finally, Kaoru was content with the result. He also demanded Die to gather his important papers, birth certificate, insurances, mobile phone contracts and so on. These would have to be kept safe during the move and the older guitarist carefully wrote on the outside of the packing crate what was inside.
Next thing they did was to start sorting out the massive amount of clothes the redhead had collected during the past years. He sternly refused to throw away even some of the old things he never used anymore, claiming that they held sentimental value and had to be saved. Somehow Kaoru managed to convince him to get rid of some pieces of clothing too, after using all his talent in coming up with good reasoning.
They used the whole afternoon to get rid of some old stuff, or more to argue about what to throw away and what to keep, and Kaoru's nerves were slightly tense already. Die was eagerly defending his treasures and, which was even worse, he was restless, nervous and unable to focus on one thing for more than a few minutes.
Finally, Kaoru plopped down on the floor and stretched his limbs. "I'm through. No more for today." He inwardly thought about sending their other bandmates a text message so that at least Toshiya and Shinya could save themselves and not help with the moving, but then, why should he be the only one suffering from their vocalist's stupid ideas?
"But we still should..." Die begun instantly, thinking about all the stuff he had in the bathroom lying around unsorted. After taking a glance at his friend who was lying flat on his back on the floor he gave in though, dropping heavily to sit on the single armchair he owned. "Alright. Thanks for your help, I wouldn't have survived this far without. Want to get something to eat? I could order us something."
Kaoru shook his head, but gave his friend a smile. "Nah, thanks. I still have leftovers at home and there's some work waiting for me too. I promise, I'll help you again, but you promise me to make Kyo do something as well. It can't be that he just disappears and leaves everything behind." He made a huge gesture around. "Half of the stuff is his anyways."
"I know." Die chuckled a bit, the bounciness returning as he seemed to have endless energy when it came to things he was enthusiastic about. "And I'll treat you a huge beer once, I promise! I guess it'll have to wait until after the moving though..."
"Die, after the moving, I expect a housewarming party with beer and at least a buffet," his friend remarked dryly and got back on his feet. "But you know, I will go now. You can go on with the list meanwhile and don't forget to label the boxes properly," he reminded.
"You will get the housewarming party of the century, promised." The younger guitarist grinned brightly, standing up as well and thanking the other man with a hug. "What would I do without your skills in organizing?"
"Pay a fortune for a moving company," Kaoru answered chuckling. After putting his shoes and jacket on, the redhead led him to the door, thanking him again. "Just remember that you have to be awake at the meeting on Wednesday," his friend reminded, waved his hand and left.
After the redhead was left alone, he eyed the forming pile of boxes in his living room. There were the huge garbage-bags too, and the temptation was big to go check through them again to see if there happened to be something he would need after all. But Die managed to hold back, and stay firm in the decision to throw those things away. It would be the best anyways.
Luckily, it didn't take long anymore and Kyo returned, carrying a paper bag with take-away food. When he spotted all the boxes, he whistled commendatory. "Wow, you've been busy," he remarked and seated himself on one of the crates. "I'm surprised."
"Surprised? What's that supposed to mean?" Die frowned a bit, but the smell of food instantly lured him closer as he was indeed truly hungry already. "I called Kao. He was here to help me." He confessed, knowing that it was obvious he couldn't have managed to get several bags full of stuff to be thrown away otherwise.
"I should've guessed." The vocalist grinned and held up a carton with fried noodles for the other man. He had known to expect something like that anyways as much as he had been sure Die would be hungry like a wolf. Whenever the redhead was nervous, he tended to forget about eating and Die seemed to be pretty nervous, or more like hyper. "How much coffee did you drink?" the vocalist asked by the way, more to see if he would get some sleep soon or not.
"Three," Die mumbled, his mouth already full of food as he had eagerly taken some of the offered noodles. He had to swallow before he was able to complete the answer. "...full coffee-pots." He knew the small man would see right through him if he tried to lie about it, so he just settled for the truth.
"Well, but those only in the morning," the blonde pondered, thinking that even with this amount Die would manage to sleep still, especially since he had been working physically all day, seeing all the boxes. "What's in the bags?" Kyo asked by the way, nodding towards the three huge black garbage bags.
"Things that have to be thrown away." The redhead turned to take a glance at the bags. "Magazines and clothes mostly." He sighed a bit at the thought of having to part with the items.
"You throw your mags away?" Kyo sounded disbelieving, but then nodded contently. "Good. The less we have to move, the better." He shoved a few noodles into his mouth, chewing on them with relish. All in all, he was very surprised how well Die seemed to take everything and how quickly he had adjusted to the new situation.
"Not everything though. But Kaoru forced me to throw almost all of them away, I could only keep so few." Die frowned a bit, shifting slightly closer to the smaller man and reaching for more food by the way. "If you had given me more time I could've had the chance to pack them all with me!"
"My poor, poor Die," the small blonde mocked and then sighed deeply. "If you want to take them with you, you can. The house has a basement AND an attic, enough room for you to litter with your stuff."
"A basement!?" Die's eyes widened a bit, a sparkle lighting somewhere in the depths. "AND an attic? You do know that I love you, right?" He practically threw himself at the other man, hugging him tight.
"I know that you do." Kyo chuckled and wrapped his arms around his enthusiastic lover. He only had had enough time to drop the carton of noodles, but didn't bother in the slightest. "You will see, you'll like the house and in a couple of years, it'll be all ours."
"I'm sure I'll like it. Come on, it's a house after all!" The redhead grinned brightly. "But I think I'll throw those bags away anyways..." He pretended a small sigh. "Otherwise I won't have enough room to collect more stuff." He winked.
Kyo's features softened and he looked his lover deep in the eyes. For a moment, he remained like that, only stroking the other's short hair in the back of his head. Then, he stretched his neck and kissed the other man shortly. "Just make sure to leave a bit room for me in there. That's all I'm asking."
Their relationship hadn't only been sunshine and roses, but they had fought for it, both of them accepting that they were dealing with a completely different personality and now they had reached a certain point where everything paid off, all the fights, the arguments and the shed tears. It was just perfect and the common house would be the peak of perfection.
That was the main reason why the redhead was so high on a mere thought of a home they would share together, just the two of them. There had been times when he hadn't been sure if they could ever make it, and that they would somehow end up just arguing until nothing made sense. But moments like this, they proved that everything had been worth it. "Don't worry. There'll always be room for you." After stealing another small kiss Die simply rested against the other man, enjoying the closeness. He knew that Kyo wasn't exactly a cuddly person, and therefore appreciated every single small sign of affection he received.
It was something the vocalist had learned during his years together with the emotional redhead; to show affection every now and then and to allow the feelings to raise within him. It was something Die had taught him and he appreciated it. After a moment, he pushed the other man from him though. "So, does that mean you're done with packing for today?" he asked teasing, a smile on his lips showing that he wanted to tease only.
"I suppose it does." Die pursed his lips, allowing his gaze to roam over the boxes. He didn't really feel like going for more packing right now, and after all they had managed to get a lot of done that day, so that even he couldn't deny that it would be possible to get everything done within a week. "Tomorrow we'll have a whole day to pack. And yes," He turned to grin at the smaller man, poking his nose with his index finger. "YOU are included in 'we'. There's a hell lot of your stuff lying around in here, so you're obligated to help me!"
"I will help you," Kyo agreed nodding. "But no complaints afterwards about my method!" He was only joking, but then, his sense in packing was to open a crate and empty a drawer in it, then close the crate and write 'topdrawer' on it. "I do have stuff in my apartment to pack too still though."
"I know, and when we're done here I'm willing to help you with packing your remaining stuff from your apartment." Die nodded as well, to emphasize his words. "It's been long anyways since I've been to your apartment... you always hang out here rather."
"Are you complaining about it?" Kyo asked, furrowing his brows. "Because if you are, it's a tad bit too late now. You will have to bear me 24/7 from next week on, so better live with it."
"No, I'm not complaining." The guitarist shook his head instantly, but then had to chuckle. "It's just that I hardly remember what your apartment looks like. I do remember that I don't like it that much anyways though..."
"You should remember how the ceiling in the bedroom looks like though," the vocalist pointed out laughing and then hit his lover's head. "Hey, I have a good taste when it comes to furniture. Everything's practical and comfy."
"I do remember the ceiling of the bedroom," Die tried to dodge the hit, laughing freely although he didn't manage completely. "It's the same ugly light brown than the ceilings and walls in the whole apartment everywhere!"
"That's not ugly. That's just good because then you don't have to paint the walls so often because of the smoke," the blonde informed him in a nosy manner. "Anything else you want to complain about but the color of my walls? C'mon, hit me. Say something about my couch!"
"It's ugly and it creaks when you're not completely still." The redhead shrugged instantly.
"That's because you never can lie still," Kyo stated and pursed his lips pouting. "And it didn't creak BEFORE we met..."
"I know." Die winked, reaching to plant a small kiss on the other's cheek. "But it's not ME who always wants to get dirty in the middle of the late movie."
"But they are usually boring," the vocalist defended himself. "Or they turn me on," he added chuckling and tilted his head, measuring his lover's appearance. "And having you there, making all these delighted noises only because you're eating chocolate, isn't easy either."
"So THAT is the reason why you always buy me chocolate when we're about to watch a movie, huh?" The redhead had to laugh, and rolled his eyes theatrically. "You're such a clever bastard. And you're always horny."
"Always?" Kyo asked, looked down on himself and pulled the cuff of his jeans a bit to take a look inside. "Nah, not always," he then said, shaking his head. "You're just too slow when it comes to catching the common mood and notice changes in the atmosphere, let alone get my allusions."
"Are you saying I'm dumb?" Die pretended a pout instantly, trying to look as hurt as possible and hide all remains of his grin.
"No, only not multitasking capable," the blonde man replied smirking. "It's either eating chocolate or watching a movie. Both results in you having these sweet stains on your chin and lips which I then want to lick away." Chuckling, he went on. "Then you're already so occupied that you never get it when I'm horny until I jump you."
"How do you know I'm not only waiting for you to jump me? It might all be just my clever plan. Which works in the end, by the way." The redhead defended himself with a small shrug.
It earned him a playful slap in the back of his head. "You mean bastard. You know that I'm boiling in my own juices there on the couch beside you and STILL just wait what happens? That's unbelievable."
"Nah, it's fun actually." Die chuckled, winking. "You always start with giving me these long glances, and then it doesn't take long before your hands start to wander slightly..."
"And still you just shift a bit into a better position and enjoy? You know," a deep frown appeared on Kyo's forehead, "I should put you on some time of celibacy to make you see how hard it is when somebody constantly turns you on but you don't get any."
"Aw, but baby..." The redhead almost purred, shifting closer to the smaller man until he was practically sitting on his lap, straddling his hips. "You ALWAYS get some in the end."
The reaction made the smaller man smile and he couldn't help but to let his hands roam down the redhead's back to his small, firm butt. "I know I always get what I want," he gave away, his voice lower than before as well. "Although sometimes you wait so long that I just have to take it."
"But you enjoy it to no end nevertheless," Die stated, convinced, running his nose down the other's, before initiating a short but nevertheless deep kiss.
It caused a small shiver along Kyo's spine and a smile to appear on his lips. "You know what I would love to do now?" he asked when they had parted again, using the grip on his lover's buttocks to pull him closer.
The action made a tiny gasp escape the redhead, and he willingly followed the movement to press himself against the other. "Watch a movie?" He threw in a wild guess with a low chuckle.
"You're damn right!" The vocalist laughed lowly, raised his chin and caught his lover's lips in another kiss. "Star wars!" Whenever Kyo was tired and didn't really want to watch a movie attentively, but still wanted something to run by the way, he chose the classic trilogy as he knew them by heart.
"Too bad we don't have that creaking couch of yours here." Die smirked, stealing yet another kiss before finally climbing off the other man and getting on his own two feet. He grabbed his lover's wrist to make him follow while heading towards the TV to see if the movie was where it usually was.
"Why?" Kyo asked chuckling. "You want to annoy your neighbors even more?"
"Hell yes! Now that they'll be forever rid of me anyways, I should give them something to remember, right?" Die winked over his shoulder to the other.
"That can be cone without the couch," the vocalist promised. He yanked himself free from his lover and jumped on the couch. Grinning, he slapped his own butt, moaning wildly. "Uuh, Die baby! Yeah! Right there. Harder... harder...!" His show was quite convincing if one only heard it but if one saw his expression, it was simply hilarious. He looked somewhat between highly aroused and Donald Duck on speed, knowing it fully well.
The whole scene made the redhead burst out laughing and he couldn't get a single word out due to the enormous giggle-fit. He was holding his stomach as it hurt from the laughing, and it took a long moment before he got a hold of himself even somewhat. "God, I swear, if you do that while we're really at it I will die of laughter and it'll totally ruin the mood!"
"But sex is fun," his lover pointed out, instantly stopping his doings. "So you should laugh, only not at me." The next second, his eyes fell halfway shut and he gave the redhead a lusty glance. "Or do you prefer annoying them rather like this...?" Slowly, his hand travelled down his chest to his groin, resting there while his respiration increased, his breathing becoming more and more laborious with each passing seconds. A few deep moans were resonating loudly in the room, followed by a couple of believable outcries of bliss although Kyo didn't really touch himself yet.
"Stop it!" Die blushed, averting his gaze from the other's form. In reality the biggest reason to it was though that he knew he wouldn't be able to keep his calm for long if he kept on watching. Instead he tried to direct his attention into finding the right DVD and afterwards fumbling to get it into the player.
"Stop?" Kyo asked, sitting up. "I thought this was about getting it on and annoying your neighbors with a variety of impressions of our outrageous and wild sex-life?"
"You know, Kyo, I'd rather really LIVE the variety than pretend it only to their annoyance." The redhead turned back to face the other, grinning at him. "I admit, watching you is nice, but only to a point and now I'm beginning to feel neglected."
"Then why are you still standing there instead of joining me here and making things real?" the blond man asked the inevitable question.
"You wanted the friggin' movie, I'm just trying to make you happy here." Die chuckled, pressing play already as he had inserted the DVD. He didn't bother to even take a glimpse on the screen though, and only jumped on the couch, landing on the smaller man pretty heavily.
The impact squeezed all the air out of Kyo's lungs, but he used the moment to trap the redhead between his legs. "Happy, huh?" he asked smirking. "You do know exactly what makes me happy..." The last sentence was spoken with a clear suggestive undertone, emphasized by the deep sparkle in the smaller man's eyes.
"Well, now that you mention it." The redhead smirked, running his lips along the other's throat up to his jaw and to his mouth. "But I don't know about the 'exactly' -part... You could tell me?"
The vocalist grinned, but tilted his head a bit to offer his lover more skin to work with. "I certainly won't tell you how much I enjoy it when you kiss me everywhere; when you suck me," he purred, the grin stretching into a smirk.
The words made Die chuckle, and he stole a short, deep kiss from the other. "Let's see if I can take your attention off the movie, shall we?" He winked before returning to his previous task, scraping his teeth over the smaller man's throat.
Kyo shifted a bit until he was lying perfectly on his back, not wasting a single thought at the movie anyways. He released his lover from the grasp of his legs, allowing him to move freely and do as he pleased. Moments like these were always special and one could never tell how they ended. That made things exciting for both of them and Kyo's heart beat a bit quicker.
Die wasn't completely sure what he was going to do now, but one thing was for certain and it was that he wanted his lover out of the shirt he was wearing. Sliding his hands under the garment he pushed it up, urging the blonde to lift his upper body a bit so that the shirt could be discarded to the floor carelessly. Kyo mirrored the action on the redhead instantly and dragged the shirt off him as well before he brought his fingers to the button of his own jeans. Holding Die's gaze, showing a huge smile, he popped it open, but then again lay back, licking across his full lips in a seductive manner.
The gesture made the redhead chuckle lowly, and he was still gazing deep into the smaller man's eyes as he slowly pulled down the zipper, making sure to provide some nice friction in doing so. He leaned down, pressing several kisses on the blonde's lower abdomen, even biting down as he headed slightly southwards. He had always been fascinated by the smaller man's stomach, how the tight muscles moved underneath the smooth skin, twitching slightly as he paid attention to the area this way.
The smaller man on his side was fascinated by his lover's lips, by the feeling they were leaving on his skin, how they were able to make him shiver. Subconsciously, he parted his legs a bit, taking the pressure away from his growing arousal, although he knew that it made pushing down his jeans harder. He couldn't believe that they were too loud for their neighbors. Right at that moment, for example, the loudest noise that left either of them were a few deep sighs, a small approving mewl maybe.
Suddenly though, Kyo cried out in surprise. He had been so distracted by his own thoughts that he hadn't noticed how Die had freed him and now licked along his hardness, dragging his tongue around the sensitive tip. Okay, maybe they were loud, but still, it wasn't enough to complain, was it? Hearing his lover's outcries were exactly what Die was aiming for, and if he had given it a good thought he would've admitted that they were indeed easily getting carried away and forgot that the walls were thin as paper, hardly keeping any sounds from reaching the other apartments.
Right now he didn't care, didn't even waste a single thought on anyone else but the man before him. He was licking and nibbling on the taut skin, knowing exactly how to bring the other further and closer to the edge. Without an advance warning he suddenly deepthroated him, taking as much of the hardness into his mouth as possible. He could feel the blonde's body respond to every single one of his advances, and it only served to make him try even harder to please him.
Every single muscle in Kyo's body was tense, felt like snapping any second. His fingers had found their way into Die's short strands, toying with them, pushing even as he was still yearning for more. Just feeling his arousal brush along the back of his lover's throat was enough to put his whole being into an overdrive, made him spasm and groan out loud. This day definitely had turned out different than imagined, but that didn't mean it was anything bad.
The redhead wasn't in the mood for teasing and didn't hold back, trying to bring the other man as much pleasure as possible. Only one glance up to those pleasure blurred features made Die's heart skip several beats, and he instantly sucked even harder, moving his head back and forth, using both his tongue and his teeth on the rock hard arousal. He couldn't help but to shiver as he thought how it would feel to have that deep inside of himself, as the vocalist was pretty much as hard as he could get.
Somewhere in his lust-hazed brains, Kyo remembered something and he tugged his lover's hair, shaking his head. "Wait Die, wait..." The words were hardly audible because he was so much out of breath, but he didn't want to be finished like that. Instead, he showed what he wanted by reaching for the other man's pants, brushing firmly across the quite obvious bulge he found there before opening them with shaky hands.
The touch had been already enough to make Die groan out loud, as he hadn't even realized how badly he had already yearned to be touched. He found himself trying to move slightly into the touch to gain even more of it, but it was gone all too soon. He swallowed to calm down somewhat, aiding the other with getting rid of the pants completely.
Smiling, Kyo leaned back again, but his hands on the other man's butt urged him to follow the movement until Die was straddling his hips. "And I still say my couch's more comfortable for these kinda things," he argued playfully, trying hard not to show how much he yearned for Die to take action finally.
"You're right," The redhead admitted, giving the other man a smirk and a short kiss. "But we could get all new one now." He threw the suggestion in the air, but didn't give his lover time to answer in any way before moving down already, impaling himself. The sensations made him cry out loud instantly, as he felt himself being stretched further, the intensity of the feelings making breath hitch in his throat.
Kyo's fingers were digging deep into the skin of the other man's back and he arched up, totally overpowered by the sensations that were shooting through him. Carefully, he lifted his knees a bit to steady his lover's position and, more importantly, to urge him to move. He didn't even notice the loud moan that had left his throat at the same moment as Die's outcry, both sounds mixing in the air and resonating strangely in the otherwise quiet room.
Somebody was banging against a wall, yelling for them to cut it out, but Kyo simply ignored it and instead gave the redhead a pleading look, hoping it would be enough to make him move finally. It definitely was enough, as the guitarist couldn't have staid still even if he had wanted to. He felt like burning from the inside, and wanted everything he could get. First he moved slowly, like tentatively, but soon picked up the pace as he found the exact right way to angle his movements. He wasn't even completely aware of the moans and cries that were falling from his lips, totally in another realm right now.
It had taken some time until both men had found a common way in bed, a way to share pleasure which was enjoyable and equally good for both of them. But eventually they had found it and Kyo felt as if his brains were melting, as if everything became unimportant but the two of them. He was nearing the edge quickly, inevitably and to bring his lover there too, he laced the fingers of his right hand around his arousal, stroking him in time with his movements.
Die's eyes snapped open at the touch, a surprised outcry escaping his throat and he instinctively picked up the pace even further. Things had changed much from the beginning of their relationship when they had seemed to be even somewhat scared to hurt each other, always careful and taking things slow. Now there was no need to hold back, and they were practically desperately moving against each other to get the most of it.
Just when the redhead felt that he was there, wouldn't need more than a split second to reach the climax he smashed their mouths together in a heated kiss, letting it drown out the scream that the orgasm forced out from his throat. The vibrations of it were devolving on Kyo, made him shudder and groan as his body reached its limits in the exact same moment. They had tried a lot together, had gone through a phase of using toys, tying up and such things, but when it came down to it, he preferred it like this; pure. Instinctively, he wrapped his arms around Die's neck to hold him in place and let him feel the force of his climax, to share the sensations with him.
Die groaned lowly into the kiss but wasn't willing to break it still, quite the contrary even tried to deepen it further. It felt as if the same feelings were coursing through both of them, and at moments like this Die felt he got closer to his lover than ever, both mentally and physically. He was reluctant to break the moment, although he knew that the position probably wasn't one of the most comfortable ones for the smaller man.
Kyo didn't mind. He has gotten used to the thought that his lover enjoyed staying a moment longer than usual, that he sometimes even simply fell asleep while they were still connected. It was something he had never believed to allow, but with Die, things had changed drastically in his life. So he only tightened his hold on his lover, planted a kiss on his cheek and enjoyed the blissful aftermath they both were floating in, enjoyed how they were moving against each other with each heavy breath they took.
There were no other sounds in the air than the sound of their breathing, and when Die pressed his head in the crook of the other man's shoulder he could hear his heart beating. That was one of those moments that felt almost magical, like they were alone in the world. Moving in together was definitely beginning to sound like a better and better thing every time Die gave it a thought. If it only meant that they were taking a step forward in their relationship that was already worth everything. To him at least it felt like this was it, the moment they had been working for, fighting for so long.
Kyo caressed his back in slow movements and finally tilted his head far enough to plant a small wet kiss on his cheek. "I want a new couch," he whispered lowly. "A huge comfy one with much room to have fun." Already when he had opened the very first letter of complaint, he had seen the chance for them there, had been thinking that they could take a step forward. Die knew he wasn't a very emotional person, at least not able to show it easily, but that was changing slowly the longer they were together. It was Die's doing.
"So next Monday," Die lifted his head a bit, far enough to be able to smile at the other man softly. "After we've moved our stuff into the new ..." he hesitated for a moment as he had been about to use the word 'apartment', but then changed his mind and went on with a winning smile. "Home, we can go and see some couches, right?" As he said the word 'home' out loud it all started to feel somehow more real even, and he had this pleasant tingling feeling of anticipation welling up in the pit of his stomach.
"Yep." Kyo smiled brightly and used the moment to peck his lover's lips. "And I even promise you are allowed to choose the colour as long as we agree upon a model." He knew very well that they both were differing from what kind of colours and styles they liked, but since he had bought the house alone already, he could allow the other man to take some decisions too.
"Really? Cool." The words instantly made Die's smile even widen, and he rewarded the other man with a soft kiss on the lips. "Let's make it a real home for both of us, right?"
"Of course we do that." The blond man smiled softly. "But first there's still a lot of work to do," he reminded. "I mean before we can go shopping for new furniture and such." After a short pause, he continued. "Did you ask Kaoru if he's willing to help us? I don't want strangers to carry all the personal stuff we have. I wouldn't want to find my boxers for auction on Ebay afterwards, you know."
"Yeah, I asked him and he promised to help. After complaining about it for a good while of course." The redhead chuckled. "I bet that in reality he just loves to be useful though."
Kyo chuckled a bit. "Well, since he doesn't seem to have a life besides work, he might be grateful for the change." He hugged the redhead tight for a moment and then nudged him. "Shall we go to bed maybe?"
"What about taking a shower first?" Die suggested, planting a small kiss somewhere on the other man's face. "I feel sticky." Kyo had nothing against the idea, quite the contrary. He was simply grateful that the redhead wasn't angry at him for reading his letters and for buying a house on his own; especially since they only had so little time to arrange things. Together, they took the shower and afterwards went to bed.
For once, the small vocalist didn't comment on the fact that his lover used him as a cushion and clung to his back. Throughout their relationship, he had first learned to deal with the fact that Die was a cuddly person and then slowly even enjoyed it. Of course he would never admit it, but it was shown in his whole posture.
