Initially we thought we’d make this when

rabenhorst reaches 100 friends, to celebrate the achievement, but now we came up with another idea for that so this fluently turned to our Christmas event ;)

So, as Christmas is coming, we’re offering you a unique chance to give requests of what kind of fics you would like to see. Although this is a Christmas-present for you guys, you might not get the fics exactly on Christmas; some will come earlier and some will be late. We simply can’t guarantee we have the time to finish everything by one set date, and therefore we kinda bend the term ‘Christmas’ to last a bit longer XD So try to see it as a Christmas / New Year's gift^^

The idea is simple. You tell us what you would want to see in a fic, as well as what you don’t want to see, and we do our best to come up with something to fulfill the request. Depending on how many people request we might combine the requests of two or three people, simply to keep the amount of work down to a manageable level. We will make sure though that everyone who requests gets something at least^^ Hopefully something enjoyable!

If you want, you can fill in the following form, just to give us some kind of idea what your wishes include. You can as well freely write in a comment what you want, so don’t bother with the form that much if you don’t wish to do so ;) It’s there merely to help you fill in some necessary info. Just let your mind flow. The more precise you are, the better we can imagine what you want^^

But! And there’s always a but, isn’t there? x) There are certain things we won’t/can’t write into the stories we do. Which would be the following:

- Shinya x anyone as a focused pairing. We’re sorry, but we simply aren’t capable of writing him in that sense. He’s a welcomed guest in cameo-appearances though.
- Kaoru x anyone else than Die. haha, this one you can blame on me, and I apologize. But the only allowed Kaoru-centric pairing will be KaoruxDie.
- graphic BDSM or S&M. The result would be horrendous so don’t even bother asking for that x)
- self-mutilation or self-harm of any sort. This can be done if a certain plot specifically needs it though.
- m-preg. The only exception would be a humour fic. But I wouldn’t necessarily count on it as we might have a slightly twisted sense of humour XD
- historical exactness. We're familiar with the history of Dir en grey, but we tend to ignore it partly when we're writing.

Also keep in mind that we’ll do only Dir en grey –pairings. Cameo appearances from other jrockers or so are totally fine if we’re familiar with the characters we’re supposed to use. Some crossover pairings might be manageable as well, so if you have one in mind just ask. But don’t trust on that, preferably ask only for Diru pairings.

If something isn’t clear, just go ahead and ask. Other than that, request away ;)

I've been a terrible reader lately and haven't read the last two fics AT ALL. (well, like first chapter+risat) ::GOING TO::

...but I'm still going to ask for something :D

- pairing: I honestly can't see you writing anything else than Die/Kaoru, which is good because it's basically the only non-crossover Dir en grey pairing I read/like anymore

- genre: AU

- rating: up to hard R, no very-explicitly described sex please :) (I'm really asking for that o__o) (well, if one REALLY, REALLY feels like blowing the other in a public place, I'm not totally opposed to the idea) (but hey, that goes for R) (OHAND for humor wouldn't it be great if one came on a fitting room wall/door/ the clothes they're trying on? I can just see them crouching on the floor going like, now what shall we do to that) (nonevermind) (and XD getting in trouble with the store staff/administration for it XD) (SOMEBODY complained, [angry for not having a video camera]) (where was I going with the rating stuff again) (there is no way this'd fit with what I'm actually requesting though...) (angry!sex would be awesome though) (and if you really wanna go NC-17 with violence, it's okay, but I doubt you'd even want to)

- what I would like: an accidental meeting, Die crying, a sad ending (ORNOT, no, actually yeah), STOCKHOLM! the city of my dreams! :D (or Seattle would be lovely, New York is fine), early 1900's, one of them going to the movies-->a movie that has them wondering about their own life (doesn't have to be real), fighting with friends present, trying to conceal their relationship, oc's, a fish market early in the morning, a romantic old-movie lady (friend of both) in love with one of them, hints of angst, grayness, a sreet musician, poorness, the other having a baby (a whole family maybe?), a fist fight
...and lastly, do something purposefully different than you normally do, if you feel like it at all :D Don't get me wrong, I love your style, it's just that I'm interested in what you'd do differently :D

- what I don't want: any other jrockers present, fluff, forced relationships/arranged marriages, the other being rich and the other poor, them thinking of being together for the rest of their lives,
YOU GUYS DOING ANYTHING YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING :)
I know I'm asking for a lot, feel free to leave anything out that you can't fit in/ don't want to write. (I'm happy with reading other stuff too, I just had this huge plot bunny thing going on now (really wanna do that myself now, alas, I know I'll never get to it), anyway you don't have to do it if it's not inspiring, don't feel obliged)

I forgot, I want them to be manly men, but that's what you usually do so it's not a big deal anyway. And if you do mention it, have Kaoru doing the sticking penis in poohole part instead of the other way round, they can be equally in love with being bottom behind the scenes :D

HomG^^ First of all; we've been missing you and your comments x) Well, we've been away for longer ourselves in between, so don't worry. Christmas' coming up; everybody's busy.

As to your request ... o-O ... Wow. That's inspiring and frightening at the same time. I think

fonulyn and I have an idea for that kinda fic already, but that will be a multichap. I can already tell you that it's more likely impossible to use all your suggestions, but I can as well promise that we try our best. It's challenging and for some reason I have to think of rain and grey short days as a mood for that.

Something we never did? Something totally different? Hmm, we always try to try something different, but we have to see about this one^^

And you meant Kao being top (If I read that very romantic and bloomy written last comment of yours right x)?

We will have to talk about that. And I won't promise about the sex. After what you wrote, it could become anything between R and NC-17. The latter is more likely for us, but we will have to see how it fits a story^^

Do whatever you feel like doing :D And yeah, there are differences of course, but there's still always a very signature you-writing style :) It must be hard to let go of it even for once though, so I don't mind, I love your style anyway :D

Haha, we will try with the angsty stuff. A fight shouldn't be that much of a problem, but we will have to see how it comes out. You've been in Seattle? Nice. I think it's (along with San Francisco and New Orleans) one of the cities in the US I'd like to see.

I think no matter what we do, it'll always carry our signature, because we have this certain way to write. It's just that we can try to take some unexpected turns. We'll have to work on it and decided that we will write your fic last XD So that we have enough time to think :D

Seattle was very nice. Like, not 'great' like New York (but I wouldn't know as I became a city-person only after we went there, and thus didn't like it that much), but a great deal more 'romantic'. It was also immediately homely and very welcoming somehow.
I don't know how to explain it, it wasn't an awesome city for tourism and all that, (and I was sick >>), but it was someplace I'd definately want to live in for some time, and it grew on me quickly. Might also be that I miss home and the weather was very mid-fall Finnish, cold but not too cold, and clear. We didn't see rain during the whole five days! They know Seattle for rain, but I'm glad x)

Dad says New Orleans is cool, but I haven't been there. (I'd definately go though)
And I really want to go to San Fransisco, especially when we live so close by! I think we're going next summer. Everybody says it's awesome :D Although its always seemed cool to me, much more so than LA unfortunately :/ (and I wanna see wether you can tell 30% of the population is gay XD)

Heh, then you were really lucky that it didn't rain in Seattle. I would like to go there somehow, because I think it's a cool, more quiet, city. You know, not like NY or LA or so, but more urban with cool people.

Heh, a friend of mine lives in California and she went to a Yaoi comm. Can you believe that? Guess where it was though ... San Francisco :D
