Once In a Lifetime
Chapter 3
Throughout the next days, it became more and more clear that Kaoru seemed to be the naturally chosen leader for the new band. The others trusted him almost blindly and he arranged a meeting with said bassist whom he only knew through a friend of his. Besides, he was the one who talked to Kisaki about the gigs which had been settled before the argument. The bassist agreed to play those two shows with them, because they would have to pay a fine if they now cancelled them. But the only that they saw of Kisaki was during the shows, as he appeared straight there and left immediately afterwards, not sparing them even a moment. They didn't mind that much though, as they were all mostly relieved, certain that this had been the right decision for them.
They were now working on getting a new bassist and went to see this one particular man play once, because Kaoru had wanted them all to see for themselves what he was capable of. And they weren't disappointed, as he seemed to be talented with bass. His name was Toshimasa, but he called himself Toshiya. He was only a bit older than Shinya, tall, had blue hair and the word 'shy' didn't seem to exist in his vocabulary. The plan to keep the meeting a secret had gone down the drain as soon as Die was stepping into the club together with the others since he was taller than most people and his red hair wasn't exactly subtle. However, Toshiya didn't seem to mind that rumours would be spreading about him joining their band.
They settled down at one table near the stage in the small club, so that they could keep an eye on the bassist while he was playing. If one looked closely, it could be seen in Die's expression that he was checking the new guy out instinctively, obviously liking what he saw. And that wasn't exactly a miracle, since Toshiya definitely had the looks.
Kaoru noticed it and couldn't deny that he didn't like the way Die was staring, practically measuring the bassist's appearance. Sure, Toshiya truly was gorgeous, had a soft face with boyish features, pouty lips, a set of sparkling ebony eyes and looked stunning in the dress he wore for the show. The older guitarist tried to get a hold of his feelings and to suppress the uprising jealousy, telling himself how stupid it was. There had been nothing between Die and himself ever since that day and he had no right to act as if he owned him.
Shinya and Kyo acknowledged as well how Die looked at the bassist, but they simply ignored it. It was common knowledge in the band which way Die's preferences went, and they all were comfortable with it. The younger guitarist did it totally subconscious even, as he was simply interested in how their possible future bassist looked like.
They didn't talk much, concentrating on the show, positively surprised by how talented this Toshiya-guy seemed to be. And they were all more than eager to get him to be a part of the band. The only problem that was standing between them and their new bassist was, that he was still a part of this other band and they would have to talk him into joining them instead.
While Kaoru watched Toshiya on stage, he always kept an eye on the redhead next to him who seemed to be pleased not only by the bassist's mere talent. When the band took a short break, he snapped back to reality though and inquired his fellow bandmates. "We agree that he's talented and that we want to ask him for an audition?"
Common nodding was the answer and Kaoru smiled contently. "Very well then. I'll ask my friend if Toshimasa wants to come and meet us in Tokyo."
They didn't manage to meet the bassist that day really, but watched the show till the end before leaving. The next day Kaoru phoned his friend, arranging a meeting with Toshiya, who would come and meet them the following week so that they could talk about forming a band and see if they had found what they had been looking for. They were optimistic though, as everything seemed to be turning out well. They hadn't heard a single word from Kisaki after the last gig they had played together, and assumed the man was still somewhat pissed off at them.
To be undisturbed, they had invited Toshiya to their temporary practice room. After the argument with Kisaki, Kyo and Die had been eager to get out of there and had organized a small room, more like a garage, somewhere amongst old warehouses and factories in the outskirts. Neither Kaoru nor Shinya had been exactly thrilled by this place, but they didn't complain either. Only the older guitarist had bought some extra locks for the door, afraid that somebody could break in and steal their equipment. Until they got a record deal, this place would have to do, because neither of them had enough money to afford something more fancy.
Toshiya was half an hour late when he kicked the door open and marched inside without bothering to knock. He wore a pair of old tight jeans, a black and blue striped t-shirt and a leather-jacket. Huffing, he dropped the case with his bass to the ground. "Holy shit. You couldn't possibly have found a place further away?" he greeted them, smiled broadly and showed his partly crooked teeth.
'At least one thing that doesn't make him perfect,' Kaoru thought but mirrored the smile. "Welcome. This is just a temporary solution since we had to leave our old practice room. C'mon, sit down and have a coke."
"Nice that you made it." Die smiled brightly at the bassist, offering him a handshake. The other seemed to look even more stunning in casual clothes than in his stage outfit. He had this certain charm in him that was hardly possible to miss. Shinya came to greet the newcomer too, smiling slightly.
"I'm glad too, 'cause I almost missed that fucking train." The young bassist was smiling all along when he marched over to the small couch and plopped down, instantly reaching for one of the Coke cans on the table. "It's damn hot," he apologized half-heartedly before he took a huge sip. Then, he dug out his smokes and lit himself a cigarette. Throughout all this time, the others were standing around him, staring at him more or less disbelievingly. This Toshiya surely wasn't shy.
"Just make yourself at home," Kyo said sarcastically, but if one knew him one could hear that he had no intentions to be mean. Besides, Toshiya seemed to totally ignore it as he kept up the smile and looked around in the room. "So, do you want me to play something for you or shall we jam a bit?" The thought of playing his bass brought an extra glimmer to his eyes and it was obvious that he liked his instrument.
"Just take a breath in between first and then we'll see about playing." Kaoru couldn't hold back a few chuckles. Toshiya had this boyish charm that made everybody like him instantly and even though he had been determined to remain suspicious, he had to surrender to it as well.
"Besides, we technically already saw you play, and now we only need to check if we match." Die grinned, making his way to sit down as well, following the bassist's example and taking a drink himself. Somehow it felt like they had known Toshiya for longer already, and they all ended up sitting and just chatting together for a long while, asking the newcomer questions about him and playing in general.
The mood was so relaxed that they even forgot about playing for the time being, only being reminded of it when the drummer suddenly happened to remember. "Do we still want to try to play a bit? Or is this it?" He was smiling in a friendly way, obviously not minding even if they'd just take Toshiya in like that.
"I would still like to hear a bit and see how good you two match. After all, you're the rhythm section." Kaoru winked and stood up after killing the remains of his cigarette in the ash tray. "You able to read notes or tabs?" he asked the bassist with a slight grin.
Toshiya answered with a wide smile of his own and jumped up. "Either is fine, though tabs would be better." Wordlessly, the lead guitarist handed him a sheet of paper and waited patiently until Toshiya signalled with a nod that he was done reading. "That looks good. Let's see how it sounds." Without further invitation, he went to unpack his bass and plugged it.
It took only one quarter of the song to convince everybody that they matched and that Toshiya wasn't only talented, but had his own ideas of interpreting a song as well. Even Kyo was nodding appreciatory when he didn't have to sing and gave the tall blue-haired man a smile.
They played for a while, just for the fun of it, although everyone knew that they had already decided they wanted to have Toshiya in the band. As they finally put their instruments aside, Die instantly flashed the bassist a bright smile, patting his shoulder in a friendly manner. "I'm impressed. Congratulations."
The bassist beamed, obviously delighted by the laud. "Thanks." Kaoru watched that scene and for a split-second, there was a shadow cast over his features. He got a hold of himself quickly though. "Well, Toshiya, I think none of the others would object if I told you now that we really want you in."
Kyo nodded. "Yep, I agree. We need somebody like you."
"Now the only question is if you want it too." The drummer smiled from behind his drums, casting an inquiring glance at the bassist. There was no doubt of how well they matched all musically.
"To be honest," Toshiya began, the wide smile still there, "I would really want to. See, my current band doesn't really go anywhere and I want to play in bigger places than my living room."
"Perfect." Kaoru clapped his hands once. "That would mean though you have to move over here. Do you have a place to stay till you find an apartment?"
The bassist shook his head. "No. I have some buddies here, but I'm not sure if I can or want to bother them with my presence."
"You can stay with me." Die shrugged instantly, looking honestly at Toshiya. "I have a really comfy couch, and you wouldn't be a bother at all. I'm sure it won't take long until you find a place to stay anyways."
With that, he had pre-empted Kaoru and now the older guitarist looked utterly displeased. If this pretty bassist stayed over at Die's place, then it was very likely that sooner or later something would happen between them. "Thanks man. That's really cool." Toshiya sounded truly grateful and nodded a couple of times to emphasize the meaning of his words.
"Great," Kaoru breathed out almost defiantly. "Then we have a deal?"
The blue-haired bassist grinned. "We do. I can stay here already, and get my stuff later. That is," he tilted his head to look at Die, "if it's not too much trouble." He definitely liked the friendly redhead and was certain they would have a lot of fun during the upcoming weeks, months and hopefully years of working together as a band.
"Of course it's not. I wouldn't have offered it otherwise." Die instantly smiled brightly at the other man, nodding ensuring. "I don't even live that far away, so the walk won't kill us even though it's a hot day." He was totally convinced that Toshiya with his happy attitude was exactly what their band needed. And they were somewhat similar in character, so he was sure they'd have fun even when Toshiya would stay with him for a while.
'I don't even live far away...' Kaoru had heard those words coming from the redhead's mouth before and it reminded him of their first meeting, of the passion they had shared. Now he could only hope that Toshiya didn't have a thing for guys or at least that Die wasn't his type. But the latter wasn't very likely.
Said bassist was already storing his instrument into its case, bouncing up and down while cowering on the ground. "If you now tell me that you have some cool beer in the fridge, I'll marry you," he remarked with a wink.
Kyo chuckled. "I see, like will to like. Those two have been looking for each other."
"In that case you found yourself a husband." Die had to laugh at the bassist's words, shaking his head. "My fridge always has some cool beer in it. Even if I don't have any food there." He completely missed the dark glance Kaoru cast at him, as he was just being friendly and didn't think there'd be anything weird in it.
All the older guitarist could think about was that he would definitely help Toshiya to find a new apartment quickly. He stepped closer to the bassist and put his hand on his shoulder. "I can organize a car somewhere so we can get the rest of your stuff next weekend. Until then, you should manage with what you've brought, right?" He smiled at the taller man and even though he didn't feel like it, it was an honest smile.
"That'd be so perfect. I wouldn't want to bring my stuff here by train. But it's not much, like I said. I'm living with two friends and they won't care when I leave. I will call my band straight away. Maybe I have to play another gig with them, but I don’t care..." Toshiya now explained every detail of his current situation, smiling merrily all along.
Kaoru found that his brain just stopped following him at some point and finally, he cut him off. "That's great, Toshiya. How about going to Die and have this drink now?" He looked at the redhead, pleading him with his eyes to agree. Kyo had almost been drifting off on the couch, but now jumped up. "Die owes me some anyways. I've brought a six-pack the last couple of times..."
"I owe you nothing, midget." The redhead chuckled. "But as I'm such a nice person you're invited anyways. I'm sure I can spare some for everyone." They had already packed up their stuff, ready to leave the place. Already standing outside, they were waiting until Kaoru had locked the door properly, before heading down the street in one happy bunch.
Toshiya seemed to be overly excited because of the band and proved that he wasn't only able to babble for hours without even taking a breath, but that he was quite a good listener as well. While they were walking down the street, Shinya told him about Kisaki and the reason why they needed a new bassist. Only when they passed by a drugstore, Toshiya stopped and suddenly pulled Die's sleeve.
"Hey, I would love to invite you all for a drink, but I can't buy 'em yet. Would you?" Smiling sweetly, he already handed the stunned redhead a few notes. "I think beer is fine, or?" he looked around, earning a few nods. Kaoru blew a strand of hair out of his face in an annoyed gesture. Toshiya could've asked him as well to buy the drinks, but no, he had asked Die. He knew it was foolish, but that looked like a sign to him that there was something more going on between the redhead and the bassist, something like subconscious attraction.
Die didn't need more than a short moment to get over the initial surprise and just smiled brightly, nodding at the other man. "Sure. Anything as long as I don't need to pay." He chuckled, taking the money and already turning to get into the building to buy the drinks for them.
"You should've kept the money. You will surely need it when you rent a place here. This town's fuckin' expensive," Kaoru admonished in a brotherly way.
"That's okay. I'm saving a lot by sleeping at Die's place and not at a hotel. Besides, I just got a bit from my ma." The young bassist ensured smiling. "But thanks for the concern." Kyo had gone with Die to help him carry the drinks and to make sure he wouldn't use all the money he had gotten, thinking the same as the lead-guitarist.
It only took a short moment and the two returned with the drinks, and Die instantly handed the rest of the money back to the bassist. "Apparently they don't trust me, since Kyo was watching like a hawk that I don't spend everything." He chuckled, casting a short glance at the vocalist. Slowly they began to stroll down the street again, heading towards the redhead's apartment.
It turned out to become a nice get-together. They all were sitting around on the floor in Die's living room, a bit of fresh air blowing inside from the open window every now and then, and were chatting animatedly while downing the beer like water. Naturally, Kaoru was the last one to leave. Not only because he was reluctant to leave Toshiya and Die alone, afraid what might happen between them, but because he liked the bassist and his funny stories as and thus simply forgot time.
Finally he decided it was time for him to head home though, and after he had left, Die and Toshiya together prepared the couch for the bassist to sleep on, before Die asked if he wanted something to eat before going to sleep. The mood was relaxed in general, and they staid up for long still, simply sitting and chatting about things, as they both got stuck babbling, unable to stop once they had begun.
The next days, everybody was helping to find an affordable apartment for Toshiya whom they all called their friend already. It was just this certain charm, something in his nature that made him easy to approach and fun to hang out with. Unfortunately, they weren't lucky and it seemed almost impossible to find something at that time of the year. So they decided to get Toshiya's stuff at least already and store the things in their apartments, since Die's alone wouldn't be enough.
Kaoru organized the promised car, a small Toyota transporter, and drove all the way together with the redhead and Toshiya to pick up his stuff. It turned out to have been a clever plan that they were three, because the drummer and the vocalist of Toshiya's former band were waiting for him, seriously angry because he had dropped them this easily.
They managed to get away without any major troubles though, as only some angry yelling and bad words were following them once they sat in the transporter again, ready to head back to Tokyo. It managed to make Toshiya somewhat frustrated for a while, but it didn't take long before he was back to his bouncy, happy self as he had to admit it was nice that his new bandmembers stood by his side like that.
Eventually all the bassist's belongings had been moved, and now all he needed was an apartment to stay. Things were working out fine like this too though, since Die and Toshiya still got along well, and living together didn't seem to bring any kind of troubles at all. They were rapidly getting closer as friends, similar enough in nature so that they shared common interests.
They didn't spend much time in the apartment than for mere sleeping anyways because Kaoru, who had been more or less forced to take the leader part, shooed them from one audition to another. The older guitarist was determined enough for all of them and since he seemed to have a clear plan in mind how things were supposed to work, the others only had to do their part and deliver demo-tapes to record companies or come up with new songs and lyrics.
It didn't take long and they all had found their place within the band, functioning and working as a unity. Since most of them were still working a part-time job, they often had to meet late for practice or to discuss the band's matters. Kaoru had learned to deal with the slight jealousy that was still in him whenever he saw the, in his opinion, hungry glances Die cast at Toshiya, but it still disturbed him. He simply couldn't help it.
In reality there were no 'hungry' glances, as Die considered the new bassist as a close friend, nothing more. He had noticed how attractive he was when they had first met, but it hadn't lead to anything else, and now he simply enjoyed the other's friendship. He had noticed though that Kaoru sometimes cast odd glances at him, and he had no idea where those came from. The strange tension was still there between him and the other guitarist, something close to pure lust although they had learned to live with it and to concentrate on the friendship they shared.
Toshiya was blissfully oblivious to all those as he trusted to have found a good friend in every single one of the other bandmembers. He had to admit though that he and Die shared a lot of similar interests and were just two of the same kind. They went out often after practice, either with the others or alone and then, when Toshiya was totally hung-over the next day, he would lean against the redhead for backup. But even when he was sober and feeling well, he would do things like that too.
It was completely natural for them though. When they were occupying the couch they randomly leaned against each other, almost cuddling in the eyes of an outsider although there was nothing special in it for them. Kaoru wasn't used to that kind of things though, and in his eyes there was something developing between the two as they seemed to spend so much time together. He couldn't help feeling somewhat neglected even. It was new to him to be jealous since usually he had never cared for somebody enough to allow such a feeling to bloom inside him.
It wasn't only that Kaoru still lusted after Die, which was the truth, it was more that he feared that after he had found somebody whom he considered his best buddy, he could be taken away from him again. But it never affected work, nor the fact that he honestly liked the bassist and enjoyed having him around. He couldn't even blame Die if he was attracted to Toshiya, because they had never even slightly mentioned the one-night-stand ever again.
It began to bother Die at one point though that he wasn't sure if Toshiya knew about his sexual preferences. He still didn't want anything else from the bassist than his friendship, but he was somewhat afraid that if he'd find out about him being gay, it would change something between them. Inwardly he decided he'd talk about it as soon as he'd get a good chance to do it, to get it over with.
Practice was just over and Toshiya practically launched himself on the small couch and at the redhead who already sat there. It had been a hot summer day and even now, as the sun was about to sink any moment, it wasn't any cooler. Kaoru had just announced that they had been invited to an audition; the first within weeks. They had suffered from some troubles since Kisaki had been spreading rumours about their disbanding, about that some of them were drug addicts and things like that. After all, Kyo and Die were sure it had been Kisaki, but Kaoru and Shinya weren't so certain about it. Still, this audition was important and the lead-guitarist made clear that they would have to try everything to get signed.
Kyo, Shinya and he left early, exhausted from the hard work and tired. Toshiya though didn't feel like getting up already. He had been more quiet than usual, but now burst out. "I think I finally found an apartment. I didn't want to tell the others yet, not to get their hopes too high to get rid of my stuff, but I think you deserve to hear the news first." He tilted his head a bit and smiled at his friend.
"Really?" Die's eyes widened in surprise, but he instantly smiled happily at the the younger man, who had placed his head on his lap, lying sprawled on the couch. "That's cool. Where is it? How far away?" A part of him was actually sad that his friend would move away, but it wouldn't still change much as they still were in a same band and lived in the same town.
"Only a couple of blocks away from yours." Toshiya grinned and he indeed looked shy for a moment, even blushing. "I mean, I don't know many people around here and I thought that it'd be cool to live close to somebody who could take me home after getting wasted."
"Don't worry." The redhead laughed, "I could drag you home even if you lived further away. That's what friends are for, right?"
"Yep. But that district kinda is cheap too," the bassist answered with a smirk. "Just cross your fingers that I get the apartment. The estate agent said she'll call me tomorrow."
"I will. And let's hope things work out the best." Die nodded firmly. For a moment he looked into the distance, somewhat deep in thoughts. The mood was somehow perfect for him to make his confession, but still he needed to collect his courage.
Toshiya seemed to notice that something was bothering his friend and thus he fell silent, giving him the chance to talk about what he wanted. But when Die didn't speak up, Toshiya took the initiative. "Is everything okay with you?" He had to tilt his head a bit further to look him straight in the eye, but still refused to sit up and remained lying on the other's lap.
"You know, there's one thing I've been meaning to tell you for longer." The redhead started, looking straight back at the other. He still hesitated somewhat when he spoke though.
"In reality, you can't play the guitar and are just a secret agent working under cover?" Toshiya joked laughing. "Or no, you're the heir of the throne and just broke away from the boring live in the palace."
"Nothing as fancy as that," Die laughed, pinching the Toshiya's sides to admonish him. "Take me a bit more serious, thank you!"
The younger man shrieked and squirmed since he was awfully ticklish. "Yeah, yeah. Sorry." It was funny to see how he tried to take on a serious expression, biting the insides of his cheeks not to laugh again. "Go on."
"Well, it's not that big of a deal, and it's not gonna change anything... I mean, if it doesn't bother you and all." The guitarist babbled somewhat and cursed his own nervousness when he noticed it himself. "I'm just, well, I'm not exactly straight." There it was now, out in the open and Die almost held his breath, waiting if the other man would now pull back disgusted.
"That all?" Toshiya asked surprised and instantly wanted to hit himself, because this wasn't exactly the right way to answer to such a revelation. "I already wondered where you hide your smutty mags," he then went on grinning, hoping to lift the tension a bit which had suddenly appeared between them.
"I have a perfect hideout," Die grinned back, but it was obvious he was still a bit insecure. "I was kinda afraid you'd freak out."
"Nope." The younger man chuckled. "I have gay friends and I'm cool with it." Finally, he sat up and gazed directly at the other, a sheepish glimmer in his eyes. "So does that mean I'm not sexy enough to hit on or why did you never try anything," he teased.
"You're just not my type, sorry. I go more for adults than kids like you." The guitarist reached to ruffle the bassit's hair, grinning at him. He couldn't hide how relieved he was that the other one took it so well, that nothing seemed to change in their friendship.
"But I'm a fucking hot kid," Toshiya pouted and then flung his arms around the redhead's neck to hug him. "I appreciate that you're so honest, but really, I'm fine with it. Only a bit hurt that you didn't hit on me."
At that moment, the door opened and Kaoru rushed inside, huffing and puffing. He froze in the movement when he spotted those two on the couch, embracing each other. His eyes were like glued to Die's hands which were resing on the bassist's sides naturally and all he could do was to stare. So he had been right. After a few seconds, which seemed like ages, Kaoru shook his head and forced a smile on his lips. "Sorry guys, I forgot my keys..."
The two flinched a bit, as they were just surprised that the lead guitarist appeared there all suddenly. They detached from each other though, and both smiled in a friendly way. "Oh, good thing that we didn't leave already then." The redhead got up from the couch, since he had spotted the keys on the edge of the table. "Here." He handed them to the lead-guitarist.
Kaoru nodded, the artificial smile still glued to his lips, but when he reached for the keys and their fingers touched slightly, he flinched noticeably. Quickly, he stored the keys into his pocket and turned to leave. "Thanks. I gotta run now. It's already so late."
Before Toshiya could say anything on his side, Kaoru was gone again. "What was that all about?" he asked the redhead, surprised about the older man's weird behaviour.
"I don't know." Die shook his head slowly, his eyes still glued to the door. He had a pretty good guess though, that it had something to do with the weird tension that had been lingering between them, but what had caused all of this, he didn't know. The bassist shrugged and instantly forgot the incident.
Together, they went back to Die's apartment to get some sleep and one day later, Toshiya received a call that he got the apartment. Everybody helped him to move, although they had to practice harder than before even, because of the audition. Kaoru was acting a bit weird, easily annoyed by minor things which wouldn't have bothered him before. Everybody blamed the stress and the fact that he took care of most things concerning the band and thus easily forgave him his small outbursts.

I really enjoyed reading that and I like the way your characters act. You probably wrote Kyo best because I could literally seeing falling asleep on the couch. XD But Kaoru... oh Kaoru. *dramatic sigh* That poor boy!!! I would've been jealous too. Simple things make me jealous and I'd love to poke the Kaoman, grin at him and tell him to go and get his Die!
Wonderful. There were many more things I wanted to point out since I liked them so much but I couldn't save them within my tiny brain. You know me.^^
*hugs you two tightly* Thanks for the great entertainment! :D

heh,
And you should do that! Kao needs a serious kick in the butt right now, to realize he has to just go and make Die his!
No worries^^ Just tell us if you happen to remember them once x)
*hugs back tight* Thank YOU for reading and commenting! You have a way to always get me into a good mood and smile :D

I'm reading one of your fics again, how surprising. I'm going to be late for school so... I LOVE THIS, WRITE MOARR.

Late for school? hehe, school's not that important anyways [says someone who's gonna be a teacher... *whistles*]!
Thank you so much! We will write more, no worries ;)

But Toshiya is adorable and I just love this story.

Tosh is cute^^ He needs more love and more parts in stories. And thankies! Nice to hear you like ^___^

Nyaa! Your story is good~ Not typical drama or angst.
Cant wait for more~ ^ ^

Thank you! It's nice to hear that you like the fic at least thus far :D We try to update soon.

anyway poor Kao though, but what can i say? Die's just such a free spirit like one of my best friends, she does that too, hugging everbody and being all cheery^^ (what do you know, i have a personal female Toshiya XDD)
more soon please? i'm addicted to your stories x)
[/crackcomment] lol

I think too that Die and Tosh are just being casual and normal around each other. But the only thing is that Kao isn't that touchy himself so he kinda doesn't realize that.
heh, we try to update soon^^ It's so nice to hear you like!

In the wedding-joke part, I can just see Die and Totchi both in white princess-dresses, grasping their hems and looking at them like 'wtf how did this happen'..
Totchi is awesomely cute :D And Kao too with his crush and all that ^^ He should know that Die's made for him, and not even someone like Totchi can change it :''D
(I actually once dreamt that I was Toshiya, and I was together with Die XDD Too bad I can barely remember the dream itself..)
I wanna have a super!cuddly friend like that too, since I'm totally like that myself, hanging all over people, and feeling like they're looking at me bad and thinking 'god get offa me' :''D
In Finland, with ay friends I might have at my place, we always form weird stacks on my bed and just stay there and talk XD But here I can only hug mum (which I rarely do) and the baby :'s (whom I latch myself on whenever I get the chance :D)
It'd be nice to see more of your Shinya in one of your stories, since usually he sticks to the sidelines all the time.
..and my comment turned into me babbling about myself instead of the fic, which I adore <3 (NO not me babbling but the fic, look at me being able to phrase things good)
And it's always lovely to see one's (screen)name on the post :D
Thanks guys! Can't wait for more! ::cling::

Aw, and Kao is just like a girl in love and doesn't know how to handle things XD And I can't blame him, having someone as gorgeous as Toshiya there to 'compete' with, I can see why he's having troubles. But Die is made for Kao nevertheless!
I tend to be overly clingy too sometimes, hugging people randomly. Only when I dare to though, I don't go on hugging strangers. But people need hugs! *hugs* Hugs cure everything!
Gosh, we always seem to neglect poor Shin don't we? He has a bigger part in the long story we'll never finish and post XD And we kinda always forget him in all the other stories. But I love him in the long one though. Maybe I could try to transfer his character from there to some other story too.
Dear, just babble on about whatever you want to XD It's nice to read your babbles anyways. And we're happy to hear you like the fic! Of course your birthday had to be celebrated somehow ;)
We try to be swift with more! *hugs* Thanks for reading!

I added you too, dear x)
Gosh, you dreamed you were Toshiya who was together with Die? That one wins all of my weird dreams ever (including the one with a gigantic Lego ship where little Lego men tried to kill me...)
I'm kinda cuddly to, but I don't like to be cuddled by everybody. I need to kinda trust the person somehow or so (which doesn't mean I have to know him/her well):D Heh, but I'd definetely like to cuddle with Tosh (who wouldn*t)
Hope you had a nice b-day party with lotsa presents!
