Comments:
[livejournal.com profile] fonulyn: Aren't we damn good, posting the second chapter already now? XD But well, we had it ready so no sense in keeping it for longer from you. The story is developing a bit, but with this one we needed to explain some things in the beginning so it's getting forward kinda slow. Anyways, it's worth it, I promise x) Just have fun reading.

[livejournal.com profile] seinen_no: Well, this came kinda unexpected, that we post the 2nd chap already one day after the first. But I think it's only fair since in the first, nothing really happens and even here, you only get an insight look on the work in the brothel. I will now take [livejournal.com profile] fonulyn for a walk with the dogs to the Elbe river and hope we have some nice comments when we're back home^^ Thanks to you all for always being so nice. And have fun reading, of course x)

Spread Your Wings
Chapter 2: The First Day

"So," the small blonde began while they were walking quickly down the hall into the other direction than before. "We're working for the guys, so I'm sorry if you were hoping for some cuties to drool after." He snickered, peeking at the redhead from the corner of his eyes.

"Anyhow, here's a plan." He stopped in front of a blackboard where a dozen of things were written down with chalk. "This is what every morning has to be done. Cleaning starts at the bottom, but mark one thing." He turned around, fastening his ganze on Die's eyes. "Whenever there's a red light shining outside the rooms, do not enter. They are working then. Usually, we start cleaning the common rooms first, like the dungeon, and the play area. These usually aren't occupied in the early morning."

He nodded for the redhead to follow him, leading him downstairs into a sort of discotheque from where several other rooms exited. "Here, we're only checking if the cleaning personnel did a good job, look for used condoms and things like that. Otherwise, we don't have to clean here. We're only there for the girls' rooms and serve the girls if they have a wish."

"Okay, shouldn't be too hard." Die nodded thougthfully, eyeing the surroundings. "So basically we change the sheets and clean the room somewhat, plus fulfil their wishes if they need something?" He looked at the other questioningly. That didn't sound too hard at least. Much to do but nothing that couldn't be handled. "Anything else?"

"We collect the used toys and bring them to be desinfected." Kyo thought for a moment, a few wrinkles appearing on his forehead. "And sometimes we nurse smaller wounds or call for the doc if needed."

While talking, they had finished searching the cellar, even the dungeon and only had found one used condom which the blond had dropped into a plastic bag. He wore rubber gloves which he took off now, leading Die back upstairs.

"Hideo's been here already, so there's not much to see. Let's get upstairs. Well, the whores on the ground floor are not too hard to handle. They are not allowed to demand too much, you know." With a certain smirk, the small blonde went on. "The top-floor is a whole other matter. Everything there has to be perfect. Not good, but perfect."

"Perfect?" Die nodded, arching his eyebrow. "How many people are there to clean these places then? And how long do we have to get things clean?" He was determined to be good, since he knew that would help him to keep the job and get the information he wanted. Plus he couldn't help but to be somewhat interested too.

"We are between twelve and eighteen people, working in shifts. But there's one personal attendant for two or three of the top-floor girls. It always changes though, depending on how many whores work and how many people are needed. But that doesn't need to interest you. You'll attend the girls down here. But I show you the first-floor too, in case we need backup there."

"Good," the redhead nodded. Everything was more luxurious on the first floor and he couldn't help but to stare openly. A part of him was somewhat disappointed that he couldn't work there, but he knew it was only logical. Why should they let a newcomer work for the high class whores instantly?

Just when they got there, the door of one apartment opened and a young purple-haired man peeked through the gap. He hesitated, when he spotted the redhead, casting a questioning glance at Kyo.

"He works downstairs, helps us cleaning," the blonde explained and there was an honest smile on his face. "Need something?"

The other kept his eyes on Die for a moment longer, like measuring him, before he
looked at Kyo. "Yeah. Hiroki forgot the condoms. And my bathing foam's empty. You know, this almond-milk stuff."

Kyo nodded. "I will bring it instantly." He even bowed slightly, but it didn't seem to be necessary, for the other man thanked him and quickly vanished inside the room again.

Die hadn't said a word, not even realized to nod or smile or anything. He had simply been caught in the moment, hypnotized by it. Quickly he shook his head now though, trying to look casual. "Who was that?"

"Kaoru." Kyo answered smirking. "He looks good, doesn't he?" There was something in his voice that made clear he liked that person. "And he only just got up..."

"Well, I suppose he does." Die nodded at the question, swallowing hard. The man had looked more than good, his features somehow hypnotizing. But he didn't want to seem too impressed.

Just when Kyo wanted to explain something further, the door opened again, almond eyes peeking through long purple bangs at them. "Er, Kyo, I forgot that my cigs are empty too."

"Sure, we fetch them right now." The blonde nodded, and turned around to fetch the cigarettes and the other things for Kaoru. Only when he noticed that Die was still glued to the ground, he stopped, reached for the redhead's sleeve and dragged him away. "This is a good opportunity to show you our storage room."

Quickly Die cast one last glance back over his shoulder, but allowed the small man to drag him away from there. It bothered him though that he didn't even know why that man, Kaoru, had such an effect on him.

Kyo was babbling merrily and didn't notice that the redhead was lost in thoughts. He stopped in front of an elevator and dug out a key. "You'll get this too. It allows the elevator to go to the basement." They were stepping inside and the blonde stuck the key into a hole, turning it and then pressed the lowest button.

"We run the storage too. So if you take something, make sure to scratch it from the list and see if there's still enough. Each whore has some stuff only for her." He walked ahead, along a dimly lit hallway until he stopped in front of a metal door. "Down here, we have everything. Further along the hall, there's the coolers for meat and whatelese they need in the kitchen. But this room here is the only of interest for us."

"I see." Die had somewhat snapped back to reality, although a part of his thoughts was still directed to that purple-haired man he had seen. He forced himself to listen to the endless explanations about the storage though, trying to remember everything he would need.

Finally, Kyo fetched the cigarettes, condoms and the bathing foam. "Do me a favour, bring this upstairs to Kaoru. You find the way, right? I will have to fetch the mail and then meet me at room twelve. I'll be waiting there for you to show you the rest." The blonde looked at Die questioningly. "Just be polite and don't disturb him."

"Okay, I can do that." The redhead smiled, taking the items and nodding confirmatory. "See you in a sec then."

The answer was a nod. Kyo accompanied him into the elevator, but exited it at the ground floor. "Oh, and ask him for his laundry. While we're there, we can as well take it. Just make sure to erase this task from the blackboard after you did it."

"I will." With yet another nod Die vanished towards the stairs, quickly making his way upstairs. He didn't know why but he was even somehow excited to go back there. The feeling made way to nervousness though, as he silently knocked on the door, shifting on his place. He assumed they weren't allowed to just get in without knocking.

It took a while, but then the door was opened with an annoyed gesture. "Since when are you..." But the sentence stopped in the middle when Kaoru spotted the redhead. He was dripping wet, obviously had just taken a shower, a towel fastened provisorily around his hips. "Oh, you. Come in, I'm freezing." With having said that, he turned around, leaving the door open wide.

The bedroom was huge, but Kaoru already vanished into another room, obviously the bathroom. "Did you bring the stuff? Just put it on the bed. I'll store it away." The bed was round, gigantic and covered with black and red satin sheets. It stood in the centre of the room, as if to show with what its owner was earning his money.

Suddenly, the purple-haired reappeared in the doorframe, leaning coolly against it. "I thought you're working for the ground-floor?"

"I am." Die nodded, quickly averting his gaze down as he realized he was staring, and it surely wouldn't be polite. "But Kyo told me to bring these up, and ask for the laundry as well." He shifted nervously, biting his lower lip. "And I'm sorry if I did something wrong," he went on as he remembered the other's annoyed reaction at the knock on the door. "I just got here today."

"What's your name?" There was something superior in the way how Kaoru addressed him, but nothing unfriendly.

"Die." The redhead only answered the question, biting his tongue to keep all the curious questions from being formed.

"Well Die," the purple-haired man smiled a bit, "you are allowed to enter without knocking whenever the red light's off. Because then, we have a customer or we just don't want to be bothered. And my dirtly laundry is in the bathroom in the small basket." He nodded backwards over his shoulder into the room behind him.

"Thanks." Die's smile was honest, and for the first time he really dared to look the other man in the eye. Discarding the items on the bed he moved to get the laundry.

Hesitantly, Kaoru made way for the redhead, smiling to himself. But then, he went to the bed and sat down on it while fumbling to open the pack of cigarettes. It had been a long night of work for him and he expected the first customer shortly after noon already.

Quickly the redhead collected the laundry from the bathroom, heading out. He hesitated near the door though, turning to glance at the man on the bed, thinking if he should say something to him before leaving. He decided that the other probably just wanted to rest though, and silently opened the door.

Just when he was almost outside, Kaoru spoke though. "See you around."

That made Die turn his head, and flash a bright smile at the other before slipping out of the room. The smile was like stuck on his face as he headed to the place where he was supposed to see Kyo.

The blonde had meanwhile gathered sheets into a huge basket on a cart. "Good that you're here. We're a bit behind schedule." Together, they were going from room to room, collecting laundry, putting clean sheets on the beds and brought clean towels for the bathrooms. Others were taking care that there was enough toilet paper, soap and whatever the whores could need.

"We do this every single morning. You might be surprised how dirty the sheets can get over night." Kyo explained while he showed Die every handhold he needed to know. Actually, he was pretty much talking all the time, hardly ever keeping quiet. Only when it was shortly past noon and they had dropped another load of dirty laundry at the laundromat in the house, the blonde marched determinendly towards a door that led to the backyard.

"Time for a cig and something to drink, right?" he asked smirking and fetched two bottles of Coke from a small launge in passing by.

As they were standing outside near a wall, just smoking and drinking silently, Die was completely lost in his thoughts. First of all, he tried to remember everything he had learned throughout the day, since there had been a lot of information. But other than that, he couldn't completely get rid of the small moment he had spent with the purple haired man upstairs, because there was something extraordinary about him.

It was the first time, when Kyo kept quiet too. Only then one could see that he wasn't that much of a talker and only did what he had to give Die as many information as possible.

"So, you content this far?" he asked after some moments. "Don't worry, it's not long till lunch-break. And when you're not a personal assistant for one of the first-floor girls, you don't have to worry that it might be interrupted."

"I think I can manage. Thanks." Die offered the other man a smile. He actually liked this guy a lot. "This is a lot better than some of the jobs I've had, believe me." He chuckled slightly, shaking his head.

"Well, you didn't witness the really dirty stuff yet." The blonde replied chuckling and took a long drag of his cigarette. They were standing under a small porch, protected from the rain, and the smoke lingered thick in the wet air, only slowly rising towards the grey sky.

"Really dirty stuff?" Die arched an eyebrow, turning only slightly to look at the other from between the red strands of hair which had fallen in front of his eyes.

"Well, used condoms are just harmless. But today, the sheets were unusually clean, the whole rooms were." Kyo answered contemplatively. "No day's like the other here. That's one good thing, but there's unpleasant stuff as well. Like when you have to call the doc, because one of those perverted fucks took delight in beating the shit out of one of the whores."

He had made it a habit to address them either as whores or girls, disregarding their gender. As long as he talked about their work, he never used their names, at least tried not to. This way, he was able to divide work from friendship, because some of them had become his friends throughout the years.

"Does it happen a lot then?" The redhead's voice was silent, as he only now somewhat landed back to reality, began to acknowledge the truth behind the mask of luxury.

"Usually not, because it's expensive." Kyo turned to look straight at the redhead. "If one of the girls is beaten up, she can't work and the customer has to pay for as long as she can't do her job anymore."

Die nodded, chewing on his lower lip slightly. "I guess those people aren't exactly welcome here again then."

"You don't understand," the blonde's eyes were still locked on his, "they are very welcome. They leave a lot money here and the girls here, the whores, they do everything; really everything."

Die's eyes widened slightly, and he didn't know what to say, how to react. A silent 'oh' was all that left him, as he tried to somehow process what he had heard.

"You just need enough money and can make all your dreams come true." Kyo laughed cheerlessly. "But there's two sides to everyting. The whores earn quite a lot of money and can build up a normal life. Not all though. But hey," he looked at his watch, "I guess the time's up. We need to be ready before the real show starts. C'mon, I show you the entrance hall. That's something you must see." He averted his gaze and opened the door, holding it for the redhead to follow him.

Wordlessly Die followed, still lost in thoughts somewhat. He was memorizing everything, telling himself he was only interested because they were supposed to write a book about it. And something told him that there would be heaps of material to be found here.

Kyo hadn't lied when he had said the entrance hall was a must-see. A dome rose above their heads, decorated with delicate ornaments which made it look like an ancient italian church. The floor was completely made of marble, red carpets lining the way to the different exits, a huge ebony counter blocking the direct way to the staff-entrance.

"Here, the guests are welcomed, can make reservations just like in an ordinary hotel. Some send their servants to tell what they want and when they'll arrive; while others just stop by whenever they feel like it. That," he nodded towards the tall, handsome man behind the counter, "is Tatsuro. He is one of the concierges and knows all the important customers, knows their habits, and how they have to be treated."

"This place surely looks expensive!" Die simply had to comment, as he let his eyes wander around in the room. He didn't even notice how admiring he sounded, as this was all so new to him in a way. He had watched the building from his apartment several times, but had never really guessed it would be like this in the inside.

"There have been made a few changes to make it look like it is now. You'll see, all the areas for customers are like this. The bar's pretty much the same. Red carpets, marble, ebony, even gold. The wellness-area's made of marble and the lounges for the whores on the first floor are just as luxurious as the rest. It surely is expensive." Kyo nodded at his own words, but then urged Die to follow him back inside. After all, there was still some work to be done and he wanted to be ready at lunchtime.

For that day they worked side by side, the small man showing what needed to be done and how, constantly explaining the necessary things. Die followed, memorized everything, and did his best to follow the instructions. As he grew more accustomed to the work, he didn't need to be instructed all the time, and they began to chat about other things, simply talking relaxedly to each other.

At lunch, they met Toshiya and Shinya in the cafeteria, the black-haired waving frantically to get his friend's attention. Working in the kitchen was far more exhausting than he had imagined, but there was enough food to fill his stomach and his colleagues were nice.

When they were finished eating, Kyo leaned back in his chair, eying Shinya for a moment. "Think we should show them the apartments? I mean, ours still has two free rooms." He asked tentatively as if to test if his friend agreed upon having the two as flatmates.

The small blonde had grown to like Die and he thought that, if he and his friend would share the apartment with them, it would be best for everybody. They hadn't gotten along with their former flatmates and thus were a bit suspicious. As long as there were enough free rooms, the employees were allowed to choose with whom they lived and with whom not.

"Yeah, that would be good." Shinya nodded instantly. He had talked quite a lot with Toshiya in the kitchen, and had come to the conclusion that he liked him. He seemed to be the merry, easy-going type, and nice to work with at least.

"And then you," Shinya turned to look at the two newcomers. "can fetch your stuff and move in here. I think you can get that much time off."

"That's perfect." Toshiya beamed happily and looked at the redhead. "We could go right after lunch, if there's nothing more important to do."

Kyo shook his head. "No, after lunch's good. that's the most quiet time. Shin and I usually relax a bit then, maybe take a nap, before the real business starts."

Die nodded. "It won't take long, and we don't have much stuff we need anyways. So it shouldn't be a problem and we're soon back helping." He smiled slightly at the others.

"If you need help we can come with you probably. At least one of us," Shinya offered.

Toshiya took a stealthy glance at his friend. It wouldn't be wise to take them to their apartment after they had agreed not to give away that they were living across the street. "No need. We don't have that much stuff, so it's not necessary for you to sacrifice your break." He said smiling, waiting for the redhead to agree with him.

"Yeah, we'll manage fine." The redhead nodded instantly, trying to turn the offer down politely. "Thanks for the offer though."

"It's a matter of course. We have to stick together here and rely on each other." Kyo smiled at the two, nodding to emphasize his words. "But I'm glad, 'cause I have to admit I'm a bit tired. Besides," he smirked, winking at the redhead, "usually I'm helping out at the first floor, so I will really enjoy the chance to get a decent nap without fearing someone might call me."

"Enjoy it then." Die chuckled, amusement clear in his voice. They all seemed to get along really well, and finished their desserts before two of them retreated to rest for a while and the other two headed off to their apartment to get their things. They had agreed that they would just carry their things to the building, and then either Shinya or Kyo would show them their rooms.

Toshiya was babbling merrily while they gathered the most important stuff from their cold apartment into bags and cartons. He didn't even notice that his friend was only partly listening as he seemed to be somewhere else with his thoughts. "This all went so smoothly. I can't believe we have a job, get well paid and can eat as much as we want. I am going to become a fat man. Besides, we found two new friends."

Die only listened half heartedly, his mind at the things he had seen and heard this day. And he couldn't help it, this certain purple haired man was crossing his thoughts more often than anything else. As Toshiya asked him about what he had done that day, he began a long explanation though, telling him everything, subconsciously focusing on the short encounter on the first floor.

"So you met one of the luxuries?" The blackhaired asked grinning. "Cool. Shinya told me about them, but he didn't show me the first floor yet."

Soon, he was giving a long speech about what a good opportunity this was to gather information and that Die should keep asking Kyo about things and maybe he could meet some of the girls from the ground floor and see how they lived and how open they were towards a newbie.

Again, the redhead listened only vaguely, rapidly falling back to his thougths. It was typical for him, if something interested him, he just couldn't shrug it off and it occupied his mind until his curiosity or whatever was satisfied. And there really WAS something enticing about that man he had seen, making him unable to let go.

"Say, are you even listening to me?" To get his attention, Toshiya waved his hand in front of his eyes. "Are you tired or what? You got this look in your eyes..."

Die flinched a bit, snapping back to reality. "Oh, sorry. I was just thinking..."

"About?"

"About the guy I saw." The other saw no use in denying, knowing Toshiya would know if he lied.

"You think you could make him talk?" the blackhaired man asked curiously. "I mean, if he's so fascinating, maybe he has a good story to tell."

"I hope I can." Die shrugged slightly. "I bet he could tell us a lot of things. And he seemed somewhat nice, approachable maybe."

"Well, but there's a problem." Toshiya smirked widely. "He's on the first floor and you're groundfloor. So maybe you should find yourself some victims there and focus on them." He was sure the other whores had interesting stories to tell as well. After all, he hadn't seen this omnious Kaoru so far and was sure it was just one of his best friend's typical exaggerations to make him appear like a mystical, gorgeous ghost.

"Yeah, I could start with them." The redhead smiled, but stubbornly had decided he NEEDED to talk especially to Kaoru about things. "But if I'm good enough I might get to work on the first floor eventually."

"Just don't forget why we're here. And don't you get too involved into things, understood?!!" Toshiya knew his friend very well, knew that he tended to focus only on one thing once it got his interest. The only problem was that it wasn't always the most important thing.

"I know, I know." Die just shrugged that off, waving his hand a bit. "I know what I'm doing, don't worry." He just wanted to talk to this mysterious man, to get to know something about him.

His friend didn't quite believe him, but remained silent and finished packing his stuff. This job was the best thing that had happened to both of them in a long time and Toshiya was certain that they'd manage to gather enough information to make a good book out of it.

It didn't take long and they were standing in the middle of the small apartment which they would share with Kyo and Shinya from then on. It lacked a living-room and a kitchen, the rooms were small, only offering enough space for a bed, a tiny closet and a desk, but it was for free and warm. Besides, Shinya had snatched a portable stove from the kitchen which stood on a table in the tiny entrance-hall so that they could at least cook water for tea or boil an egg without having to go to the cafeteria. The toilet even had a shower cabin, but it was hard to turn around in the small room otherwise. "So guys," the blonde welcomed them, making a presenting handgesture, "our humble home."

"This looks better than I expected." Die nodded approvingly, looking around in the place where they were supposed to live from then on.

Shinya looked mildly interested, arching an eyebrow. "What did you expect then?"

"I don't know," the redhead grinned apologetically. "Something like seven people sharing the same room or so."

Both, Shinya and Kyo exchanged a knowing glance and then burst out into laughter. "This is neither a boarding school nor the army. We're working hard and the boss appreciates it, so he makes sure we lack nothing."

The blonde led them into his room. He didn't have a desk, but there were some cushions on the floor where he made them sit down. "We use this as our lounge if we want to sit together," he explained while fumbling for something under his bed. With a victorious little sound, he broke out a bottle of liquor. "To our new flatmates." After taking a long sip from it, he passed the bottle to the next one. "Just make sure nobody knows..."

"Thanks." Die took the bottle, taking a long sip instantly. He really liked these two already, and couldn't stop smiling all the time. They had gotten the job, a nice warm place to stay and two new friends. And as he took a glance at Toshiya he saw that he seemed to be equally happy about this.

They still had some time before Shinya and Toshiya had to get back to the kitchen and Kyo and Die had to get ready for work again as well. They spent it with marry chatting and telling each other about their lives. As it turned out, the small blonde was a good entertainer, told funny stories about the happenings in here. "Oh Die, I forgot. We still have to get you the uniform." He suddenly stated mysteriously.

"Uniform?" Instantly Die's eyes flew wide, and he looked suspiciously at the small man beside him. "Do I have to wear some kind of uniform?" No one had mentioned anything like that before, not even briefly.

"Don't worry. Just a suit, so that we look decent and alike in case some guests see us." Kyo answered snickering. "But we should see if we have something fitting for you. You're tall. Better we go now." He stood up, waiting for the redhead to follow him.

He led them to a room in the staff part which was lined with shelves full of clothes. "Which size?" After receiving a shrug, Kyo went through the shelves and determinendly collected some clothes. "Those might fit. Try them on."

The first one Die tried had too short sleeves, and he had to discard it since he looked totally ridiculous. The next option was long enough, but the pants were so big that there could've been two of him inside of them and it would've still fitted. "These are pretty loose..." He grinned, tugging the waist of the pants.

"You're too tall and too skinny." Kyo remarked grinning and shook his head. "But you need the length, so get out of them and I give them to Hanako. She'll make them fit."

Since they didn't have much time anymore, Kyo led him straight to another room where he asked a girl if she could spare a moment to make the pants fit the redhead.

"Sure." Hanako smiled and took a look at the newbie, circling him. "You got no figure at all." With safety pins, she marked the parts which had to be changed and then told Die to get out of the pants. "I will try to finish them quickly, but you have to bring me some more later. You will need more than one pair of trousers."

"I can't help it that I'm skinny." Die smiled apologetically. He knew it was mostly because he hadn't had much to eat in a long time now, but he was quite thin by nature too. The circumstances had only made it worse.

"Don't worry, I make you look stunning in this suit." The girl obviously had her fun and vanished with the pants.

Kyo now eyed the redhead grinning. "You forgot to take your own pants with you. So let's fetch them quickly before somebody mistakes you for one of the girls."

"I don't think anyone would." The redhead had to chuckle at the words, and obediently followed his new friend as they slipped to the other room to get his pants.

As they had to kill the time until Die's suit would be done, Kyo began to explain a bit more about the workflow in the afternoon and evenings. "Down in the lounge behind the entrance hall, there's a huge pannel. Red light means the customer has left and the cleaning personnel, us," he smirked winking, "is needed. Green light means that we don't have to attend the room or the girls. Just make sure to turn the switch when you attend a room, so that there's not five people at once going there. And whenever you meet a customer, be polite, bow lowly and never, really never deny them anything. Only say 'yes sir' and then come to me or see where you get the things he or she wants."

"Okays." Die nodded seriously. "So do we have to deal with more female or male customers then? Since we're working on this side of the building."

"Males," Kyo answered shortly and then turned to look the redhead into the eyes with the smirk still in its place. "But beware, those few females we have got hairy teeth. They are used to get whatever they want, so don't mess it up."

"I'm trying not to mess anything up." The redhead grinned, nodding a bit at the words to emphasize them. "Believe me, I'm intending on keeping the job."

"That's good. You know, we're a bit like a family here. I mean we staff members and some of the whores. We take care of each other and make sure that everything works without problems. The boss rarely shows up, but he's a fair man, at least to us..."

"That sounds cool." Die had no troubles in believing what the other told him. From what he had seen, the atmosphere in the house seemed somewhat good and it looked like most people got along with each other really well.

"So, when you have no idea what to do or where to find anything, just ask before you're doing something wrong." Kyo reminded and after some time decided that the suit should be ready.

They had to hurry anyways, as the blonde noticed some guest were already arriving. Just when he passed by that certain lounge he had been talking about, he dragged Die inside and pointed at the pannel. "The lights above are of no interest for you, they are for the first-class ones. Only down below and as you see, there's already a red light. So you better change while I take care of this."

"Okay, I will. Shall I then follow you or just try to survive on my own and watch the lights?" Die looked questioningly at the other man. He wasn't sure if he could already survive and do everything they expected from him, after hearing everything only once now, but he was willing to try of course if he had to.

"Better wait here and if you see a red light before I'm back, try your best." There were a few other young men crowding the room now, all dressed in fancy black suits and Kyo made an introducing handgesture. "Guys, this is Die, the new entry. Just be nice and help him a bit, will ya?" With having said that, the blonde rushed out of the room, leaving Die to the others custody.

A middle-aged man approached the redhead, bowed a bit and smiled at him. "I'm Hiroyuki. Don't worry, it's not as chaotic as it seems. When you need help, just tell us, but I'm certain you'll manage well."

"Thanks." Die gave the man a thankful smile, and exchanged a few words with the others before disappearing to get changed into his working clothes. It didn't take long and it seemed that Hanako was indeed good since the pants fit perfectly now that Die put them on again. As he was done he went back to the previous room, keeping an eye on the lights, slightly nervous.

He was all alone for some time, but suddenly somebody rushed into the room, looking quite surprised to find only him there. "You're the only one? Anyways, room 102 needs a bottle of champagne. Go get it, pronto." With having said that, the man rushed off again, not caring about the fact that he had never seen the redhead before.

"Room 102?" Die looked a bit startled for a second, as he had no idea at that moment where that room even was. He knew where to fetch the champagne though, and got it before hurrying to find the right room. Thankfully there were clear numbers on the doors, and thus he didn't have any major troubles finding the right place.

It went like that the whole afternoon and evening. The redhead and the other staff members were rushing from room to room, trying to be as invisible as possible and to get the guests' every wishes. After some hours, Kyo bumped into Die on the hall and stopped his doings. "Hey, let's take a break in a minute. It's our turn. We can get something to eat and hang out with the girls, watch some tv. It's in room 333."

He was obviously in a hurry and instantly squeezed himself past Die, continuing his way down the hall. The problem with the room numbers was, that there didn't seem to be an order, but the blonde trusted Die would find his way. After all, he had managed so far.

The redhead had just been heading to one room to bring some random items there, and instantly hurried there to fulfil the task as soon as Kyo was gone. When he was done he tried to find the room 333 as instructed. Although the place wasn't that familiar for him he wasn't much slower than the ones who had been working there for longer now, and he managed rather well, at least in his own opinion.

When he finally opened the door to said room, he spotted Kyo sitting in a comfortable armchair, the table in front of him filled with snacks, drinks and varous kinds of foods. "Come in Die, have a break." The blonde piped, chewing already. There were other people in the room as well, some, Die knew as staff members, some he knew as whores.

Heavily the redhead plopped to sit down on the chair next to the small blonde, releasing a huge sigh. "This is more tiring than I thought."

The statement elicited common laughter and one of the other guys, clad in a tight leather dress, leaned forward to sneak a peek at him. "Maybe we should switch jobs once. So that you see how tiring it is to get fucked constantly." Another one nodded agreeing, "Yeah, or to suck cock. You should try that once."

Kyo waved his hand. "Girls," that word earned him a few pillows hitting his head, "don't scare him away."

"I didn't mean to compare it to anything." Die had to defend himself, but there was a grin on his face. "And thanks for the offer, but I don't think I'll switch jobs, at least anytime soon." The mere thought of doing the same work the others had mentioned made an unpleasant shiver run along his spine.

"Hmm, but maybe you'd like to have a taste once?" The guy clad in leather approached him and sat down on the armrest of his chair, his hand resting on Die's thigh.

"Koji..." Kyo admonished, "I told you not to scare him." Addressing the redhead, he shook his head. "They do this with every newbie. Just ignore them."

"I kinda guessed that." The redhead chuckled, looking at Kyo. "At least I couldn't come up with any other explanation." He was itching to ask the people questions, but knew that he would have to get to know them a bit better, kinda earn some trust before he could go for that.

"Aw, don't listen to that midget," Koji purred lowly, "you're one gorgeous bastard. I bet your height speaks about something else being huge too."

Kyo rolled his eyes, but this time kept silent and instead ate a bit more of the foods on the table. "Don't you think you should rest a bit before the next customer comes or are you horny permantently?" he finally asked, unable to hold back.

"No, this here would be for fun, the rest is work," came the answer from Koji without him turning away from Die.

Die couldn't help it as a slight blush crept on his cheeks, and he felt a tiny bit uncomfortable under the gaze. "Well, I'll keep that in mind for future use then." He grinned in what he hoped was a self confident and casual way.

Koji smirked, finally getting up again. "Just make sure to let me know when you're ready for some fun. I could show you things..." He chuckled and got back on the couch, sipping from his drink.

"He likes his job." Kyo explained shortly, a huge smirk tugging his lips. "And he really does seem to like you."

"Well, I guess I should be flattered then." The color on the redhead's cheeks didn't vanish, quite the contrary the blush even deepened a tiny bit.

"Die," Kyo laughed freely, "you need to get used to things like that or you're easy prey for the girls."

"Just gimme some time." Die laughed, shaking his head. He usually wasn't that easily embarrassed, and he blamed everything on the whole new situation. "Come on, it's my first day here."

"Yeah, but tonight, when you're finally going to bed, you'll feel as if you're here for an eternity already." The blonde remarked seriously. After finishing eating, they were just chatting a bit, smoking a cigarette and just tried to relax before they had to get back to work. Every now and then, one of the whores left the room and another one entered. It was like pigeonry, never quiet, always moving.

Die almost hoped that the break would never end, because there was something nice in the atmosphere. But finally Kyo stood up, indicating that they should get back to work, both of them. And then they were back running and hurrying, trying to provide everything needed in the shortest time possible.

Just when their shift was about to end and Die turned around to head for his room, utterly exhausted, a deep voice sounded behind him. "Die?" It was Kaoru, standing there, dressed in a traditional kimono, his long hair tied up, only one strand falling freely over his shoulders. "I was ringing for Hiroki, but he's not there as it seems. I'm out of painkillers."

"Oh," Die turned around, even startled a bit. He couldn't help but to stare for a moment, as the other man looked totally breathtaking. He snapped out of his hypnosis though, nodding quickly and flashing a bright smile. "I'll get them right now."

"Thanks." A faint smile appeared on the purple-haired man's lips and without saying anything further, he turned around and left, walking down the hall slowly, gracefully. With the dim lights, he appeared like somebody from another time, the kimono only emphasizing this image. Right after he had vanished around the corner, Kyo appeared from another direction. "Hey Die. Shift's over and we can sleep finally."

"Just a moment, I need to get Kaoru some painkillers." Die smiled at his friend, already taking a step away. "Just go on and I'll follow you soon."

"Kaoru?" The blonde stopped. "Where's Hiroki? It's his duty to take care of him..."

"He didn't answer the call or so." The redhead shrugged, since he didn't really mind doing this for the purple haired one, it wasn't such a big trouble. "I'll just fetch the pills quickly."

"Okay." Kyo answered nodding, a frown adorning his forehead. He was obviously not content with that fact, but glad that Die would take care of this as he was dead tired and just wanted to sleep a bit.

Quickly Die headed for the storage room to get the needed painkillers from there. He knew it was extra work he wouldn't have needed to do, but somehow he couldn't bring himself to care that much. Judging by Kyo's look it wasn't a good thing though and maybe he shouldn't have agreed to do the work of others that easily…

When he finally stepped into Kaoru's apartment, the purple-haired man lay on the bed on his stomach, his head pillowed on his folded arms. He didn't flinch, didn't even look up, but spoke softly. "Thank you. Could you do me another favor?"

"Of course." The redhead smiled instantly, not even thinking about it. There was something in the other that made him simply want to help him. "What is it?"

"Cancel my next appointment. I'm not feeling well and want to sleep. Tell him, he can come tomorrow at two. I think I'm fit again then." Sighing, Kaoru rolled on his back, his milky white skin showing as he had gotten rid of the obi and the kimono fell open, only loosely covering his form. "He's okay, he won't cause a big scene."

"Shall I tell it straight to him then or to the receptionist?" Die had to ask, because he wasn't sure how these things worked. He couldn't help that his eyes reflected a hint of worry, as the other looked somewhat pale and weak.

The faint smile was back on Kaoru's lips and he looked straight at the redhead. "Tell it the receptionist and he will tell his servant. Just hurry please, he'll be pissed if he arrives here and has to leave without getting any."

"I will." The redhead smiled, relieved that the other at least instructed him patiently and wasn't irritated. After casting yet another worried glance at the form on the bed, he turned to leave, heading out of the room.

"Die!" Kaoru's voice sounded muffled through the door and when Die poked his head inside, he earned another smile. "And tell Hiroki that he's a lazy bastard and would be in deep shit if you hadn't taken care of things."

"I will." Die smiled brightly, even chuckling a bit. Yes, he definitely liked this man already, and would need to talk to him to get something for his book. This time, he closed the door and hurried downstairs, telling the receptionist as he was supposed to, before finally heading to his own room.

Toshiya was already fast asleep when the redhead finally undressed, ready to crawl into bed. But his door opened and Kyo slipped into the room. "Die, can we talk for a moment?" he asked, sitting down on the floor besides the futon."

"Of course." The redhead nodded, plopping to sit down on the mattress, fighting tiredness already.

"Won't take long," the blonde promised smiling. "It's just about working upstairs. See, we do share the work on the ground-floor, but the girls upstairs have their own attendants and if one of them is missing without an excuse, he's usually in deep trouble. Hiroki is lucky that you helped him and that it was only Kaoru calling for him. Kaoru's not the type who complains easily if things don't go quick and smooth. But you have to tell Hiroki to do his job better. See, everybody wants to work upstairs. The wage is far better and you only have to take care of two or three rooms and people. But you're expected to be there whenever one of the girls needs you. So we make sure to remind our colleagues who work there that we're not willing to do their job as well. I'm only a substitute and work there sometimes, so it's okay for me to do both, but not for you. You're having enough duties downstairs."

"I understand." Die nodded, as he truly saw what he other meant. He had somehow seen this talk coming, although he had known the small man for such a short time only. Rubbing his tired eyes he sighed a bit. "I know it's not my responsibility to do the work of others, and don't worry, I won't start making a habit out of it." He smiled slightly. "But it wasn't much additional work, and at least Kaoru got his painkillers."

"The thing is that Hiroki should've asked him in advance if there were enough still or should've taken a look. He knew Kaoru had a cold and he also knew what kind of customer he was awaiting today... Anyhow, if you don't want to talk to Hiroki tomorrow, I'll do it. He has become sloppy lately." Kyo wanted to make sure that Die understood he wasn't angry at him, but at the other for neglecting his duties. "We got a lot to keep in mind here, especially when you work upstairs."

"Maybe it would be better if you said something... if it's not too much troubles." Die somehow didn't want to start stirring troubles for anyone when he had just come into the house, and would've preferred to just forget about this.

"I thought so," the blonde answered smiling and nodded. "Don't worry. I'll take care of this. But tomorrow. Now we both should try to get some sleep. We have early shift which means getting up at five." The fact that it was already well past midnight didn't seem to bother Kyo that much as he finally stood up and wished his new won friend a good night and a deep sleep.

When the small man was gone it only took a second for Die to fall asleep. He was completely exhausted and slept like a stone until the alarm startled him awake. It took a moment for him to even understand what was going on, but swiftly he got up from the bed, getting ready to face his second day.

Hoho, saksalainen stalkkaaja! Omg potenssiin Kyo.

Ihmeellisen paljon suomalaisia Dirppa-ficcareita täällä. Mistä teitä oikein sikiää? o__O

Kirjotatte muuten oikeesti tosin hyvin saksalaiseks ja suomalaiseks. xD Tai no, kyllä te muutenkin hyvin kirjoitatte.

Yks Shinya/Bou-fic aiheutti minulle traumoja. En ymmärrä, miten olin niin itsetuhoinen, että edes rupesin lukemaan sitä. o____O' Se oli vieläpä niin naurettava, että huh huh. Kuvittelepa itse Bou semettämässä Shiniä samalla kun Shin ähkii jtn tyyliin "Ooh, fuck me harder Bou aahhh! Ohhh!!" Oikeasti. Se kirjoittaja oli vielä tosissaan. Traumoja.

Hyvä, että jatkatte. Harmittaa aina, kun joku ficcari "jää eläkkeelle". Varsinkin, jos kyseessä on joku tosi hyvä ficcari. Älkää koskaan lopettako. :D
