Chapter 1
Chapter 1 Let it be known that Gwiboon is so not the typical housewife. She can cook, but only to keep herself from starving, and if she wants something more advanced or impressive she has to put in real effort. Therefore, she’s not sure what it tells about her when she spends almost all of her free morning in the kitchen, preparing a boxed lunch for two – or probably for four? she might’ve gone overboard – before heading to the garage for the afternoon. When she arrives, it’s once again Jonghyun who greets her with a bright, shit-eating grin. “You think Minho can finish the car faster if you keep coming here more often?” he asks, shamelessly leaning against the Impala he’s been working on. “Or do you have other motives for… coming?” She rolls her eyes theatrically, but can’t help the grin that tugs her lips. “You are the worst at innuendos, you know that? And no, I didn’t come to ask about the car.” That’s only a white lie, seeing as she always obsessively asks about the car, it’s her baby! Smoothly she digs the biggest Tupperware container from her bag, raising it pointedly. “I brought food. Assuming you’re both hungry?” She thanks her luck that she brought enough to feed a small army. And prays that her cooking skills are enough for neither of the men to make any jokes. “Ohh I hope you brought a lot I’m starving!” Jonghyun accepts the offer instantly, obviously not even finding it odd. Or maybe the prospect of free food is something he never turns down. He raises his voice, making Gwiboon wince at the high pitched Minhooooo he lets out. As called, Minho appears almost the next second, wiping his hands on a rag he then sticks into his back pocket. When he spots Gwiboon he smiles, a smile that reaches all the way into his eyes, and it looks like he wants to say something. Of course that’s when Jonghyun pipes up merrily. “I don’t know what you did to tame her but keep doing it since we just got lunch!” He grins, looking between the two. “I’m going to go find some plates, you follow me when you’re ready.” The moment he’s gone the air turns a little awkward, but Gwiboon smiles and tries to act as nonchalant as she can. “I thought… I don’t know what I thought okay,” she laughs and it breaks the tension, “I’m so not a good cook so I just hope that’s not poisonous. I somehow just… I wanted to, okay.” Minho’s eyes are sparkling by now, something so utterly gentle in the expression that it goes straight through Gwiboon. “Thank you. But we should really go,” he grins, “before Jonghyun eats everything and there’s nothing left for us.” The lunch turns out to be surprisingly pleasant. Jonghyun talks a lot, about his little but growing family, his work at the garage and his second job helping out at construction sites whenever they’re short-handed, while Minho is more silent and focused on the food. Gwiboon is focused on Minho, first nervously and then just because she enjoys watching him eat. Apparently the food is indeed passable, at least there’s not a single complaint during the course of the whole meal. Jonghyun even compliments it, which sends Gwiboon into stunned silence for a second since thus far the relationship between her and Jonghyun has been completely based on mutual mocking. She can’t deny, he’s grown on her, rapidly. “Next time,” Jonghyun begins as he stands up, “you should make some dessert too. You do know that the way to a man’s heart is through their stomach?” He rinses off his plate, before throwing a cocky smirk at her over his shoulder. “Unless you want to take the… lower route.” Gwiboon might’ve been outraged about that a couple of weeks ago, but now she only scoffs and tries to hide a grin. “Are you serious, midget? You think so highly of yourself?” She chuckles, leans her chin on her palm and twirls a curl of hair between her fingers, fully aware of how good she looks. “Newsflash: I’m not trying to get into your heart. Nor in your pants.” “Oh I know,” Jonghyun nearly sings, “as much as I wouldn’t mind a roll in the sack with you – if I wasn’t already taken, that is – it wasn’t me I meant.” He passes Minho and pats his shoulder on his way, and without another word he’s out of the door, heading back to work. Minho is apparently an easy blusher since there it is, a little tinge of red dusting his cheeks and the back of his neck, and Gwiboon finds it utterly adorable. “I’m sorry about that,” he begins, “sometimes he gets like that and I don’t really–” “Hey don’t worry about it,” Gwiboon hurries to cut in. As much as she enjoys the embarrassed look on him, she isn’t actually going to torture him. “He’s sort of right. I …like you?” She wants to hit herself for the way it comes out as a question, and quickly tries to fix it. “I mean, you’re nice, and I wanted to do something nice since you’ve been so… nice. It’s been nice hanging out with you.” …awfully lot of ‘nice’ in that sentence, great going, she reprimands herself internally. Minho seems to genuinely relax, though, and that has to count as a win. “Thanks. This really was good.” He hesitates, as if he wants to say something more, but the moment is broken when there’s a loud crashing sound in the garage. They both startle, and Minho sighs. “I better go see what’s going on.” When they get up, there’s another brief bit of hesitation, as they both stand at the door that separates the kitchenette from the big hall. Minho leans a bit closer, and Gwiboon already instinctively rises a little on the tips of her toes, her eyes fluttering shut. And then yet another perfectly timed loud crash makes them nearly jump out of their skins. “I…” Minho sighs again, then laughs, obviously frustrated. “I’m sorry, I really gotta go check what the hell is going on in there.” A little flustered at the abrupt interruption, Gwiboon can do nothing but nod. “Yeah, sure. I’ll just. I’ll pack my stuff and get going, I have a class to attend. I’ll… be back later?” Minho smiles. “That would be nice.” He turns and leaves, and it sounds like he’s mumbling something about incompetent friends working at his garage as he goes. It doesn’t seem that he’s worrying too much though, so Gwiboon does as she said she would, rinses the containers and packs them, before being on her way. She’s smiling all along. Another thing, besides the heat, that Minho hates in his job is the paperwork. It’s not like he can’t do it, he’s got the brains and he took enough classes to survive simple adding and multiplying he needs to do to fill the gazillion forms he needs to in order to run his business. But even if he can do it, he doesn’t like it. He’s always been a doer, he’s always been better with his hands and wanted to do work he can see the results of immediately. So paperwork? Not his favourite part of this business thing. Especially since it takes up so much time and it’s always time away from actually fixing the cars or other necessities, like eating and sleeping. Or trying to figure out how to make a move on Gwiboon, who keeps occupying his thoughts at all times of the day. That’s where Jonghyun finds him once again, practically sleeping on a pile of receipts, bills and application forms. “C’mon dude,” Jonghyun says, reaching out to poke at Minho’s forehead until the man is at least stirring in his sleep. Jonghyun sighs, drops to sit down on the opposite side of the desk and props his feet on the table. Maybe there’ll be a little mud on the applications but no one cares. He waits, more or less patiently, until Minho finally raises his head, a smudge of ink on his cheek. “What are you doing here?” he slurs, obviously not completely awake even if he seems mostly lucid. “What time is it?” Word by word he seems to be more clear-headed, leaning back to stretch his sore back. “I am here to make sure my best friend doesn’t die of overworking himself,” Jonghyun says. He’s sort of proud of how patronizing he manages to sound. “I am disappointed in you, Minho. If I were you, I would already spend my nights banging that feisty brunette instead of trying – and failing – to keep awake with the numbers.” “Are you sure Taeyeon wouldn’t have something to say about that?” Minho asks, grinning. Jonghyun laughs. “Well of course I was operating under the assumption that I’d be hopelessly and helplessly single like you. Though honestly, I don’t get it. With a face like yours, the girls are lining up already, and when they notice the abs anyone would throw themselves at your feet. Why are you living in self-appointed celibacy?” “Because the work won’t do itself,” Minho says. He feels like he’s said it a million times but hey, this conversation is something Jonghyun doesn’t let go, not before he gets what he wants. Minho already knows he’ll end up in some sort of a nightclub before long, he should probably put up less of a fight and get it over with. Immediately, Jonghyun turns serious. “How bad is it?” At first, Minho considers brushing it off, but decides against that. “I don’t know when I’ll actually get any cars fixed if I have to get all of this done. I can’t afford to hire another mechanic, and I don’t want to hire a secretary. I don’t… I need someone I can trust to do this.” He knows he’s being anal about it, but it’s his garage, it’s his baby, it’s his dream, and he doesn’t want it in incompetent hands. Not any aspect of it. “I’m sorry.” Jonghyun straightens in his chair, even lets his legs fall off the table. “I wish I could do more, but you know I’m stretched as thin as you right now. The twins are barely two months old and Taeyeon would cut my balls off if I stop helping out at home and spend 24/7 at work.” “Yeah I know,” Minho smiles honestly. “Don’t worry. You already do a lot and I appreciate all the hours you can clock in. I’m just… I don’t know. I’ll have to figure this out.” “Wanna go grab a beer? It’d cheer you up! You know what they say, all work and no play…” Jonghyun grins disarmingly. He stands up and extends a hand out, knowing that he needs to say no more. Minho lets himself be pulled up to his feet, before stretching his whole body. His muscles feel like they’re completely locked from sitting in the same position for so long, and he rolls his shoulders until they give an audible pop. “Let’s go then. So that you get back to your family before curfew.” “You don’t need me to have fun,” Jonghyun points out. “Why don’t you call your favourite customer and see if she’s up for some fun? C’mon she cooked for you! She’s been hanging out here more than …I dunno, more than me. She’d totally give you some.” “That’s the thing,” Minho grunts, frowning. “I don’t just want some. I… she’s clever and funny and she doesn’t take shit from anyone and I sort of want more than just one wild night of sweaty action?” He doesn’t even finish the sentence before Jonghyun has doubled over with laughter. “I can’t believe you just said that, you spend way too much time with me!” “Shut up!” Minho punches Jonghyun’s shoulder. “I’m being serious here. I want to ask her out and not only for a one time thing! But when there’s the perfect chance to make a move I just freeze, like a goddamn sixteen-year-old! I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I never had any troubles getting laid if I really wanted to.” “That’s just it.” Jonghyun finally manages to stop laughing, even if there’s still a bright grin on his lips. “You like her too much. You should’ve seen when I first began wooing Taeyeon, I was so ridiculous I still don’t know how I married her in the end.” “…Jonghyun.” Minho gives him a pained look. “You were sixteen when you started dating her the first time. And your break up doesn’t even really count you never stopped being a couple.” “My point still stands!” Jonghyun loops his arm around Minho’s waist and begins pulling him towards the door. “We will go and get spectacularly drunk and plan how you will approach this. She’s obviously meant for you, you’re both so infuriating that I see no other option.” So that is how Jonghyun starts his grand operation Get Minho Laid (Multiple Times). If he forgets about the operation two hours and six beers later, well, it’s probably for the best. At some point Gwiboon begins to suspect she’s spending too much time at the garage. It’s not like she’s there daily, she has the rest of her life to take care of so she goes to evening classes, crams for exams, suffers through family dinners with her parents, spends copious amounts of time with Jinki either on the phone or in person, and decidedly tries to not think of Minho all the time. Everything else is a success, but the last one… she’s never failed so miserably in her life. One thing she hasn’t done in ages is go dancing, partly because none of her friends have really been in the mood and partly because she knows she’d spend the whole evening thinking about Minho. So she decides that it’s time to get a grip, go out there, have a few drinks and dance until she’s exhausted. Maybe even bring someone home, getting laid can never be a bad idea. Maybe it would even help her with her severe case of very single-minded fantasies she seems to be having these days, her imagination always revolving around the same person. The plan is to first shop till she drops, then go bother Jinki for a while at work, and then find a club to conquer either with him or alone. Easy and simple, but effective. Just what she needs right now. She’s in the middle of fixing her make-up, carefully adding what’s just enough sparkle and not too much – after all, she’s going shopping first so she can’t be in full club-attire yet, what would that make her seem like? – when the doorbell suddenly rings. It’s a surprise, she’s not waiting for anyone and usually her friends give her a call in advance instead of making impromptu visits, so she freezes for a second just to try to figure out who it is. The doorbell sounds again then, and she twirls around, throws her perfect curls over her shoulder and decides she’s fabulous enough to receive even the fucking president. It’s not the president on the other side of the door, but it’s not very far from that. At least not if one asks Gwiboon. She knows she looks idiotic with her eyes wide and her mouth hanging open, but goddamnit, this can not be real. Her best friend should be in China, running a successful business, not here waiting to be let into Gwiboon’s apartment. “So you’re not going to invite me in?” Boa laughs, already spreading her arms to throw them around Gwiboon in a surprisingly crushing hug. “Hi little sister! It’s been ages, aren’t you thrilled to see me?” That finally sets Gwiboon in motion and she hugs back tight, before detaching so that she can actually try to convince herself she’s not dreaming this up. “How’re you here!? You’re supposed to be… I don’t know, hundreds of kilometres away! Why didn’t you call me? What are you doing here? How’s Zhou Mi doing? How’s the business are you already listed higher on the market? When did you come here? How –” Boa laughs again, gently nudging Gwiboon back into the apartment so she can close the door after them both. “Slow down, slow down! I can’t answer everything at once. I’m in town for a business meeting, but it was rescheduled in such haste I didn’t even know I was flying over before this morning. It’s only tomorrow though, so tonight I’m all yours! I thought we’d go shopping and to dinner, and I can give you a thorough update on everything before you catch me up on your life, okay?” She grins, knowing she’s going to get an agreeing answer, and grabs Gwiboon’s purse from the floor to hand it to her. “Make sure you’ve got your wallet since we’re so going to max out those credit cards!” That’s basically what they end up doing. Gwiboon hasn’t even realized how much she’s missed this, not before she gets to run from store to store until her feet hurt and she gets her ears talked off by the powerhouse that Boa is. They’ve been friends ever since Gwiboon started school, even if it at first was more her admiring Boa from afar and aspiring to be exactly like the third-grader. Somehow it turned into friendship along the way, even if Gwiboon has to admit that somewhere deep in her heart she still has this overflowing admiration for the older woman. “So,” Boa drawls when Gwiboon is trying to balance the pile of clothes in her arms and coevally follow her to the fitting rooms. “Basically that should bring you up to date. Zhou Mi sends his love, as always. And I will get you a photo of his hot new boyfriend at some point I promise. I could google one now if you want, he’s dating one of our main models actually. Unethical, that’s what it is,” she scoffs, but there’s laughter in her voice that completely negates the words. Gwiboon tries to organize the hangers properly to know what she should try on first, but makes an agreeing sound at the back of her throat. “Yes please, show me a picture. And tell him I’m going to fly all the way to China and castrate him myself if he doesn’t call me more often! It’s been ages since I last heard of him!” “He’s been busy,” Boa smirks. “You wouldn’t believe what a gorgeous pair they make. It makes me sort of envious.” She sits down in the comfortable armchair offered in the practically gigantic fitting room, crossing her legs as she awaits the runway show from Gwiboon. “You should have come with us,” she says, more silently, “I know it was never your dream to run a fashion house in China, but we’re doing so well and we both miss you. After high school, it’s been like we lost a limb!” “Yeah,” Gwiboon sighs. She turns her back on Boa and tugs her glittery shirt off, to try on first of the numerous tops they’ve picked up as potentially gorgeous. She doesn’t say anything further and both of them know why. She was asked to join her friends in the new business, but she was too afraid of her parents to suddenly leave the country so she stayed, and a part of her still regrets it. Now her friends are pursuing a dream – successfully – and she’s stuck getting another degree she never wanted. “I’m sorry.” It’s obviously heartfelt, and Boa doesn’t try to push the topic more. “I didn’t mean to.” She looks honestly worried. “But you do know you’ve always got a place there if you need it, right?” Gwiboon smiles, buttoning up the flowery sequined shirt so she can then twirl around theatrically to show it off. “I do.” She receives a headshake and a frown, so she takes it as her cue to undress and try another garment on. “I’m fine though, I really am. Even though I hate my major, I hate thinking of myself working for some big corporation, and I really don’t know what I’m going to do after I graduate. Half of us will end up as underpaid secretaries in small businesses anyway.” “It’s not like you’re going to end up like that,” Boa scoffs. She points at one of the dresses. “Try that on. It’ll show off your boobs perfectly and I know you’re going to love it.” Obediently, Gwiboon sets in motion, but she can feel her mood getting more and more sour by the second. “We both know I’m not the model student. I’m not doing half as much work as I should if I really wanted to compete with the big names. So yeah, that’s exactly how I’m going to end up.” The dress does fit perfectly though. And after they switch the topic completely and try on at least sixty pairs of shoes, Gwiboon is feeling about as giddy as she felt at the beginning of their shopping tour. After a grand dinner they end up back at Gwiboon’s apartment, slouched on the couch with their feet propped on the expensive designer table. They’re exhausted, but it’s the good kind of exhaustion not to mention they managed to shop somewhat sensibly without throwing money left and right during their expedition. Now, it’s time for relaxing and turning in for the night, but they’re both too wired up to sleep just yet. “So,” Boa begins, after they’ve vegetated in silence for long enough. “How’s love life? You somehow managed to evade the whole topic and that is totally suspicious, let me tell you.” Gwiboon cringes, and for a second she contemplates trying to dodge the question again. But Boa is one of her dearest friends and she knows she could trust her with her life, so why shouldn’t she share? She’s a little bit ashamed of it, but should she be? So she takes a deep breath, before admitting quietly “well there’s this guy…” Instantly, Boa perks up. “That sounds …I dunno, like you’re beginning a great love story. Please tell me it’s a great love story. Or at least that he’s a beast in bed, I’ll settle for that if needed!” That makes Gwiboon laugh, and she aims a weak slap at her friend’s shoulder. She misses. “It’s not a great love story. And I have no idea how good he’s in bed.” Boa gasps, scandalized, but Gwiboon doesn’t let it bother her and goes on. “The thing is, he sends sort of mixed signals and I don’t know what he wants from me? Honestly, I don’t know what I want from him, either. He’s hot, god, probably the hottest man I ever saw and I know he wants me.” “But..?” “But I might want more than just a quick fuck? And I’m not talking about a prolonged one-night-stand either,” Gwiboon sighs. “He’s funny too. And charming. And I sort of want to date him?” “Why don’t you, then?” Boa sits up straighter and pulls her legs close to sit on them. She’s turned completely towards Gwiboon now, an honestly curious expression on her face. “It’s not like you’ve been hesitant before if someone caught your eye. Or is this more serious?” “No! I mean, yes, sort of.” Gwiboon grimaces. “It’s been years since I was this attracted to anyone so it is more serious in a way, yes. But that’s not the problem. The problem is that he’s a car mechanic. He’s so working class that my father would have a stroke if he heard I’m dating someone like that! He’s … I’m not sure if mother would even let him inside the house for the fear of him bringing in some mysterious poor person disease.” “Gwiboon,” Boa says, her voice turning stern. “You are twenty-five. You don’t need to ask for permission to date a guy. And who cares if he’s working class and poor? I know you. It’s not like you look down on people based on things like that.” Her eyes are searching Gwiboon’s, as if to confirm that, and Gwiboon desperately wants to tell her that she’s right, she’s not that kind of person. “I don’t care he doesn’t have a triple-degree from some fancy lawschool,” Gwiboon huffs. “But if I date him, and if I …like him even more and want to spend more time with him, and it turns out a long-term thing, my parents are going to kill me. Painfully.” That earns her an eye-roll. “Stop being over dramatic! Just date the guy! At least get laid, see if he’s got what you want. Have dinner with him and see if he’s still charming. You don’t need to instantly marry him, and you definitely don’t need to tell your parents anything before you know if it’s serious or not. And if it is? They can suck it up.” “They’re going to –” “I don’t care what they are going to do! Gwiboon, wake up!” There’s frustration and anger flickering on Boa’s face, and she balls her hands into small fists before gesturing wildly. “Even if your parents turn out to be even bigger dicks than I assume, you’re going to be fine. You’re your own person and you’ve got a whole network of friends you can fall back on. Don’t be the person who makes decisions based on your parents’ opinions until you notice your life went by without you!” Gwiboon bites her lip not to say something mean back, since it stings. It’s true, it really hits a nerve, and that’s why a part of her wants to lash out and argue, to tell Boa that she’s already independent and goes by no one’s rules. Yet how can she deny it? She’s still going behind her parents’ backs when it goes to her romantic life and it is, quite frankly, a little bit pathetic and quite a lot adolescent. Finally, Gwiboon lets out a huge sigh. “Okay. That position you promised for me in your company back in China? Keep it open for me in case my parents send the mafia after me when they find out, okay?” Boa grins. “Deal.” |
so yes some of you asked if jjong is married to girl!taemin and here you got your answer :3 I hope it was to your liking~

Can't wait for the next update~

I'm glad you approve of the turn it took :D Thank you so much for reading and commenting! ♥

you're welcome~ I always try and comment on fics I read ♥
no subject
that's such a wonderful attitude ;; ♥

I went through my old journal today and transferred a whole bunch of the fics I deemed acceptable, most were het.. I completely forgot I wrote super junior het, some was embarrassing, but some wasn't too bad. I guess practice makes perfect, no?
Aw, thank you! I try, but it gets rather disappointing when hardly any one comments on the fics I post. But never mind! Treat people how you want to be treated and all that jazz~
no subject
it really does, trust me, I understand that! and I feel bad since I've been too tired to read anything lately, so I haven't been able to comment on fics either. but I'm hoping to get back to them as soon as I'm a bit more awake. it's a crucial part of fandom to keep the communication going :)
no subject
I honestly think you'll do amazing! I'm more than happy to read a sneak peak to give you feedback ;)
mmm, I went through a stage of not reading much either.. like a year plus long stage.. but now I'm back, I'm digging through the SHINee fandom for all the good fics. That's the best part about going on breaks though, you miss the slow updates and get to read finished products!
I think that's the problem with the fandom right now, we've all lost that spark of communication. I remember in the super junior fandom, every used to comment... I think people have just become lazy or just don't like what they're reading. It's disappointing either way ;~;
no subject
that is a good thing! it's always wonderful to find good long fics that are actually finished. it's one of the worst feelings when you like a fic and follow it and it's left unfinished in the end :|
exactly! there were times when so many people commented on things, and now it feels like everyone's turned lazy. while honestly, it doesn't take so much time and effort to leave a short "I liked this!" on a fic... but well. it is how it is. we can just try to live by what you said earlier, treat people how you want to be treated.
no subject
It makes me so sad when that happens, especially when they stop writing it completely! (though, I can't talk. I've abandoned a fic I've been writing since I was 16/17..pretty sure it's at like 35 chapters, but it's gotten really stupid, so I've bailed on it...)
I chucked a massive hissy fit over people not commenting and locked my journal completely, I actually said something similar to that too.. since then I've gone out of my way to comment on things. Often I'll be at work and read something on my break and push the limits to comment.
no subject
yes, it is sad :( I've abandoned one fic, too. but thankfully only one. and nowadays I don't start posting before I'm 100% sure I can actually deliver the rest of the fic as well.
I've commented from work too, in the past, haha. so I do know how it is. but yeah, we can just hope that people get more active, and try to encourage them to do it! usually being nice works the best :D
no subject
I tried doing that...and then I got carried away and wanted feedback, then my fic kept growing. and that's how I abandoned a fic at 30+ chapters :/
Mmm, I used to be so desperate and say at the end of everything I posted that I would love comments. I've stopped that now haha
no subject
that is sad tho :( it was so long already.
there are many ways of being nice tho :D I've seen some authors be dismissive of the people who comment on their stuff and that is never ok! but one doesn't need to beg or anything, just be polite and nice.
no subject
yeah, but it was a really bad plot and I lost interest completely.. ;~;
I'm usually really grateful when people comment on my things, I don't understand people that brush readers off. It's like they've got a complex or something...

Gwiboons parents better accept Minho in the end, is all I'm saying... Galgjanlge I'm so excited for when they actually do get together alnaeöngeönage, I hope it isn't too long, I can't wait to see the fireworks happening XD

ofc they're into each other, haha, there's no other option~ truth to be told I don't even remember in which chapter they get together but it's not that far away, I think x) we shall see~~
Gwiboon's parents shall also play a large role eventually :) in good or bad ways? that I can't say XD

i normally reblog and spazz in the tags on tumblr but i thought i should actually started coming to livejournal, so i might be a bit rusty on coherent comments, i'm sorry XD
Jonghyun is a man after my own heart, instantly forgetting about his bad impression of Gwiboon as soon as she offered food and following with innuendos jfhreyuihrtui
and i'm surprised Minho still blushes after years being Jonghyun's friend XD
Gwiboon said it!!!! i honestly thought she was going to beat around the bushes for a little bit more but yessssssss, forward!Gwiboon is actually my favorite ;a; damn Jonghyun and his cockblocking ways! *shakes fist*
i thought for a moment that a slightly inebriated Minho would be standing outside Gwiboon's door with Jonghyun cheering him on, but it's probably for the best it was only Boa jkfrguhrti
Boa fits perfectly here, actually. she's the voice of reason in the middle of all the sabotaging thoughts Gwiboon's having. she's not even in a relationship yet and she's already trying to find reasons to bail and avoid confrontations/being hurt. it's good she has someone to snap her out of it.
another great chapter from you ;; and thank you so much for the dedication, it's wonderful uriehgtut ;;

haha I think Jonghyun totally would forget all wrongdoings if he'd just get good food~ 8) it seems like something he'd do. awh and I think Minho is just an easy blushed he can't help it :D especially since he likes Gwiboon so much~
straightforward Gwiboon is my favourite :D ahaha and don't be too harsh on Jonghyun for interrupting the moment, he's not doing it on purpose XD
I'm also really glad you think that Boa fits there :D I really wanted them both to have friends, several of them, since c'mon people have friends, a relationship is never just two persons in a bubble x) so yeah. I love writing friendships into fics~
happy birthday again bb! ♥ and thank you so much for commenting ;; I'm super happy that you liked this!

When she arrives, it’s once again Jonghyun who greets her with a bright, shit-eating grin.
jonghyun, the doorman, srsly xD he's always there to welcome her. maybe he should work as a concierge instead xD
Jonghyun accepts the offer instantly, obviously not even finding it odd.
nothing odd about food. food is always welcome. especially free food. that's the tastiest kind of food there is.
Minho appears almost the next second, wiping his hands on a rag he then sticks into his back pocket.
srsly even this is sexy idek.
“I thought… I don’t know what I thought okay,”
i still like this a lot and think it's super natural <3
Minho is more silent and focused on the food. Gwiboon is focused on Minho, first nervously and then just because she enjoys watching him eat.

She can’t deny, he’s grown on her, rapidly.
if he can't grow tall he can at least grow on boon lmao. *laughs hysterically at her own joke*
He passes Minho and pats his shoulder on his way, and without another word he’s out of the door, heading back to work.
still loving this. i can imagine this scene before my eyes perfectly <3
“I mean, you’re nice, and I wanted to do something nice since you’ve been so… nice. It’s been nice hanging out with you.”
i will forever applaud her smoothness
“That’s the thing,” Minho grunts, frowning. “I don’t just want some. I… she’s clever and funny and she doesn’t take shit from anyone and I sort of want more than just one wild night of sweaty action?”
you're so smitten ho kdfjnkms ;__;
You should’ve seen when I first began wooing Taeyeon
i know i already commented on it at least twice but ugh just imagining dorky jonghyun trying to woo taeyeon and following her everywhere and looking at her all starstruck and shit and almost wagging his tail, while she's like *blinks* *doesn't know what's going on/doesn't care/doesn't give a shit* <333 i love this
“But if I date him, and if I …like him even more and want to spend more time with him, and it turns out a long-term thing, my parents are going to kill me. Painfully.”
fuck ur parents boon, marry the guy already (like who cares that they haven't even kissed yet lol)
but yiss anyway, you know i love this, i'll try to beta part 3 as soon as i can, kk? <33333 :****

TRUE. unfortunately free food is a rare breed :(
Minho appears almost the next second, wiping his hands on a rag he then sticks into his back pocket.

it's bc minho is always sexy. it's unfair rly. and like, I don't even need to describe him since he's hot by default and people will think of him and that makes this hot too 8)

;;;;♥
AND NOW A MOMENT oF STARING AT MINHO EAT. ///stares

I'd love to pick and choose quotes but it's just so nice; there are so many nice parts that I think i'll be nice and just say it was all good.
(...that was both lame and lazy - but honest! still, I apologise.)
Another great chapter. ♡
